I was looking forward to Dack's story but this one fell short despite having everything I like: a menage, suspense and sweet romance.
I can't really put my finger on it as to why I found it dissatisfying as I can hardly recall the events. Dack hadn't changed. He was still a man of few words and I like my heroes that way. Chatty men somehow aren't alpha hero material for me.
There's action, too, as the villain is out there gunning for Dack, and I really want to like this because it sounds like a continuing series. If there's a new one out I hope someone here reviews it.
