Milo's team is losing the camp Color War. But their awesome moose mascot could help them pull off a win. That is, until it mysteriously disappears. Can Milo and Jazz crack the case?
A good story with enough clues given that younger readers can figure it out. What puts this book over the top for me are the pages after the story is done. The logic puzzles are exactly what a novice mystery reader should be solving!
Communication is key. That’s what every great detective must remember when working with a partner. Will Milo and Jazz be able to work together to solve the summer camp mystery while attending separate camps? Read the book to find out!
This is another fun little mystery in the Milo & Jazz Mysteries series by Lewis B. Montgomery and Amy Wummer. We've been steadily reading the books in order and will certainly get more of them from our local library.
The mysteries are perfect for children and I love that they are small mysteries and not too scary. We like the puzzles in the back of the book as much as we like the story, too.
This story separates Milo and Jazz on opposite ends of a lake at summer camp. The boys are on one side and the girls on the other. The children experience the fun, craziness, and competition of a sleep-away camp. And they find a way to team up and solve a mystery, too.
It's a fun book to read aloud and we were able to finish the story in one night. Our girls liked it so much, they asked for 'just one more chapter' over and over until we finished it.
i liked milo's mascot the moose. someone stole the moose and they found out that tony's sister stole it because he told her to. because it was his idea to steal it they wouldn't let him come to the camp anymore.
