So far, most of the stories, even those by the famous, dead authors stink. They make no sense or have no point. I did enjoy "Ghost Writer"-Norm Tyrrell, "Lilith in the Garden"-Raven West (even though it's somewhat sacreligious) and of course, "Young Goodman Brown"-Hawthorne and "The Story of an Hour"-Kate Chopin. Not done yet, but these stories make me determined to see what the rest of the book has to offer.

About halfway through and yeah, not even Kate Chopin can save this book. The editing is horrible and most of the short stories by modern authors either make NO sense and are way too surreal or are completely uninteresting or unbelievable. I got this book on sale and I think I was robbed. Unless the last half of the book is any better, it's not getting more than one star.

UGH! There is a story by Charles Dickens in this book. It's doomed. I only have a few stories left, thank goodness.

The editting within the stories is horrid too. It's like reading a book on a Kindle, where who is saying what is not distinct, the characters' dialogue runs together, sometimes even in the same quotation marks! I have a story by Poe next. Maybe that can help this book, but somehow I doubt it. We'll see.

Yeah, the Poe story was surprisingly one of the worst Poe short stories I have ever read, and I love Poe! The Bram Stoker short story was very well written and I really enjoyed Unconditional Love by the youngest of the contributors, Matt Waters.

Despite the six good short stories out of 20, the editing was horrible and may have made the other stories seem worse then they actually were, the other stories really sunk this book. This book took forever to slog through and it wasn't worth it.
