Better the second time around
Originally I read the first three books shortly after they came out, and loved them. I was rooting around my kindle library and came across this boxed set I didn’t know I had. So I have reread the first books in the series and fell in love with them all over again.
There is so much packed into the books, so much angst, romance, building/rebuilding/enhancing and stabilizing of all spectrum of relationships. The characters grow through out the series, and while each book centres on a certain couple, the others are right there and we are kept a breast of their lives. Of course the books would be missing something if the steamy scenes were not there as the just add to the stories.

Passionate Addiction is Book 2, which surrounds Blake Kennedy who flies thousands of miles to surprise Gabi Smith, his best friend, but who he's never met, on her birthday. Undesired Lust Book 3 is about Sidney Higgins who is a songstress, who ruined her life by sleeping with two of the Reckless Beat men, Mason Lynch & Sean Taiden, when their video was uploaded & the world was turned against her. And an added in bonus of Reckless Weekend, where 24 hours in Vegas with Reckless Beat & their women! This is a box set that is full of hot men that make you want to choke them out, junk punch them, and finally love them. They are drool worthy, & the women that tame them are amazing! But getting there is a road full of angst that may or may not have eyes leaking! Eden Summers talented writing style is amazing kept me in my seat cover to cover until the end, wanting more. I love her rockers, and cannot wait to see what she comes out with next!

**Review of BLIND ATTRACTION (Reckless Beat #1), previously reviewed**
BLIND ATTRACTION is book one in the Reckless Beat series and is a swoony, insta-love, rockstar romance. This book embodies my every teenage rock 'n roll fantasy with the adult "R" rating! If you don't like to read about insta-love, skip this one but I loved the almost sweet chemistry between the hot guitarist and the innocent photographer. I think I actually swooned when Mitch's eyes find Alana's in the beginning! But in spite of their sweet relationship, the sex scenes are off the charts hot (swoon worthy hot!). On to book two for me! Told from dual POVs with a happy ending.

Absolutely loved this series, each of the reckless men are so different and all their individual stories kept me hooked. I particularly like how each book updates us on previous characters as well as setting the scene for the next book in the series. All the books have great storylines with just the right amount of spice.

BLIND ATTRACTION
This is the first book in the Reckless Beat series and it features Mitchell Davies and Alana Shelton. I think the lesson learned here is that you have to make your own happiness. You can’t let other people‘s fears and failures become your own. Alana’s situation is what made the story stand out for me. Her upbringing was sheltered but not so much that she didn’t sneak and experience life a little here and there. Mitchell seems like the typical oversexed rockstar with a conscience.
PASSIONATE ADDICTION
This is book 2 and it features Blake and Gabi. The guys of Reckless Beat are so free with their sexuality when their single but when they fall for “the one” it’s fun to see them scramble to contain the former rockstar lifestyle. The truth in the relationship between Blake and Gabby was beautiful to watch, which made it hard to believe he thought what he did wasn’t going to hurt her and change EVERYTHING! This is a great story! The characters are starting to grow and mature. The story line pulled me in right away and didn’t let go until the end.
RECKLESS WEEKEND
This is book 2.5 and it features the whole gang, Alana and Mitchell, Gabi and Blake, Sean, Mason, Ryan and Leah. The hits keep coming for some members of the Reckless family and not in a good way. What hit me the hardest was Gabi and Blake’s situation. Heartbreaking! The honeymoon challenges for the guys were hilarious! I’m so glad there was lots of humor to balance out the intense heartbreak but they all handled it with dignity and maturity. I thought Leah's answer to one of the challenges was awesome! This book is a great break from the touring life this group of people are usually in. It gives us a glimpse of them in other every day life situations.
UNDESIRED LUST
This is book 3 and it features Mason Lynch and Sydney Higgins. If ever there were two people that might not want to be together because there was so much working against them, it would be these two. It seemed perfect! If only Mason could get over himself. Then the scandal happened and it was ENORMOUS! Of course he didn’t handle it well. I was crushed on Sydney’s behalf as if she wasn't devastated enough! I love how vulnerable she was and yet still strong deep down inside. The friendships were fractured, the love was intense and the betrayal was shattering.

A bundle that had some promise but went downhill
This would have been a 4 star but I couldn't even make it through Mason's story (book 3). Mitch's story was great & had a fresh premise on the romance between him & Alana. Book 2 with Blake & Gabi wasn't what I was expecting. All you see is their first conversation about his looking for help to his addiction & it fast forwards 4 years later to when they finally meet face to face & within an hour of meeting, they're getting physical. There's no real in depth of their foundation. Not to mention the plot hole of Gabi getting injured. Made something out of nothing. Blake didn't seem as steady & playful as from the first book and his closeness with Alana while endearing, starts coming off as awkward & forced upon whenever Gabi is around. Gabi is also so strong yet she's so weak & naive while Blake hides his problems & tries to distract her with sex. Onto book 3, Mason & Sidney are all kinds of poisonous. Didn't understand the attraction at all & even after all she's endured & lost, she still pines for him. It took him 14 chapters to even show any remorse towards what happened & finally tell his side of the story. He may not have released the video but it's his fault it was even made! Couldn't find anything redeemable about him from the 14 chapters I could get through & can't even believe that Sean pines after a woman like Sidney. Only other couple I would want to read about is Ryan & Leah.

This boxset is such great value and an awesome way to be introduced to the Reckless family. If you love a hot rockstar romance, with such amazing individual stories that have you turning the pages so quickly then this is your next purchase. Loved everything about these books.

BLIND ATTRACTION
Loved this book, I really wanted to read a rockstar one and thought who better to read than Eden Summers as I am hoping to meet her next year.
I was so excited to see that the first book in the series was not the lead singer, and I was happy about that as we all love the lead singer and the anticipation of there books just wants me to read the other books that much more.
I loved how innocent Alana was and she never apologised for being different and was herself and didn't let anyone change her. I loved Mitchell as well and the characters chemistry. I loved how Mitchell loved Alana for who she was and how much he cared for her from the start and showed his softer side straight away.
I loved the story line for this book it was different, and I was interested and entertained from the start. I laughed, it had some angst and I just didn't want it to end.
I love how we learnt about the other characters especially Blake and can't wait to get into his book, the way the authors writes it just makes you like all the characters instantly.
If you love the rockstar genre this is a book to read love it.

RECKLESS WEEKEND
Don’t read this review if you haven’t read the first 2 books. I love a good rockstar book and when your in the mood I pick up a trusty author like Eden summers and know I’m going to enjoy it.
I loved this novella 2.5 in the Reckless series. I loved how there was still some drama but we also learnt what is happening in everyone’s live and we got to read about one of the anticipated weddings.
This book also really set the scene for Masons book to the point I dove straight into his book which I don’t do often but I had too.
Even though this was about Mitch and Alana’s wedding we were really taken into the lives of all the band members and there current relationships.
I loved this story considering it was the Hens weekend and all the games that they played and it made me laugh so hard, how far the guys would go to win a competition. I loved it and couldn’t have asked for a better novella in between all books of heartbreak and drama.
Loved it a big 5 stars for this one and I can’t wait to read the rest of the boys stories and see how this band family turns out.
UNDESIRED LUST
Normally when I get to a third book in a series I think where can the story go and what else can happen to this band of guys who are more like family. Well we can get an absolute beauty of a book I absolutely loved this book I won’t say it’s my favourite out of the series because they have been all as good as each other with such different storylines.
This one started off very hot and scandalous and you could see why the events of 1 mistake killed a relationship between band members and Screwed with another’s career and we were taken on one hell of a journey to read how they got back to being who they used to be.
I felt for Sidney she had loved a guy who had ruined her career, lost her family and friends and had one person in her life who she could depend on. I felt that she was strong character even though throughout the book she never saw herself as strong and she had built a wall so high that I thought nothing and no one would get through it. It was so good to read about how she came through the darkest part of her life and for her to realise she could be happy and deserves to be happy.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to Mason, he was a bit of a douche in the other books and I couldn’t really see him redeem him self, he never took anything seriously and really just acted like an idiot. He lost a lot of respect from his band mates and he was hiding secrets that would help these relationships but he kept them to himself, but of course Eden Summers knows how to write and made me fall in love with the lead singer.
Sidney and Mason go through hell and if your looking for a fantastic written book that gets all the emotions going from hate to anger to sadness to laughing then this is your book with twists and turns you don’t see coming.
Just a note that I am so glad Sean’s book is next as I really felt for him in this book and I just want to see him happy. Again we got read about the other members of Reckless Beat and their other halves it was perfect.

This one started off very hot and scandalous and you could see why the events of 1 mistake killed a relationship between band members and Screwed with another’s career and we were taken on one hell of a journey to read how they got back to being who they used to be.
I felt for Sidney she had loved a guy who had ruined her career, lost her family and friends and had one person in her life who she could depend on. I felt that she was strong character even though throughout the book she never saw herself as strong and she had built a wall so high that I thought nothing and no one would get through it. It was so good to read about how she came through the darkest part of her life and for her to realise she could be happy and deserves to be happy.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to react to Mason, he was a bit of a douche in the other books and I couldn’t really see him redeem him self, he never took anything seriously and really just acted like an idiot. He lost a lot of respect from his band mates and he was hiding secrets that would help these relationships but he kept them to himself, but of course Eden Summers knows how to write and made me fall in love with the lead singer.
Sidney and Mason go through hell and if your looking for a fantastic written book that gets all the emotions going from hate to anger to sadness to laughing then this is your book with twists and turns you don’t see coming.
Just a note that I am so glad Sean’s book is next as I really felt for him in this book and I just want to see him happy. Again we got read about the other members of Reckless Beat and their other halves it was perfect.

4 1/2 Stars! Three full length and one novella in this Reckless Beat series box set. There are two more full length and one more novella in the series. Told in dual POV they can each be read as standalone with each ending with a HEA. Reckless Beat is a famous band and each book is about a different band member. The secondary characters are the same throughout the series. Each story draws you in and keeps your attention. The guys are all likable and the women are strong. Little bit of drama, but not overly drawn out. Just the right amount of steam!! I liked all the stories in this box set and I will be continuing the series to read about the other band members.

Couldn't get into it
Blind Attraction - Book 1
Flat, very ordinary, unrealistic and predictable. 1 star
Passionate Addiction - Book 2
Continued with this, but after a few chapters I found I was forcing myself to go on. I just couldn't get into it, skimmed a bit and skipped to the Epilogue.
I breezed through the rest and really hated giving up, but I also don't like wasting time with so many good books out there. My biggest disappointment was that I expected so much after reading this author's standalone, Inarticulate, which was a unique and beautiful love story. (Give that one a try).
Perhaps I'll give this author another try in the future.

Brilliant Boxset
I have loved this boxset and all the Reckless guys are fab characters but I’m sad for Ryan at this point.
The bachelor party had me howling I nearly peed myself laughing with Mitch the transvestite, Ryan the Oompah Loompah, Mason’s waxing disaster and Sean with the pennies chasing after their streaker for a photo.
Also Mason and trying to find his newly formed vagina had me creased 🤣🤣
The women who have entered their lives are good characters also and I can’t wait to see what happens with Sean & Ryan in the next books.
You won’t be disappointed there is love, heartache, laughs and HEA’s so something for all.

Reckless love
I enjoyed getting to know the Reckless family! To say these men are smoking hot is an understatement. After years of living the rock star life reading about the women that took over their hearts was a treat. From the innocent Alayna, Strong Gabi, and Talented Sidney these ladies held their own. I know stories need drama, but I felt like some of the rifts between them were unnecessary and could have been avoided with a conversation. Definitely worth the read though and I can't wait to read the rest of the stories.

OMG! I love the boys from Reckless Beat! These books kept me hooked from the beginning. The characters draw you in and her writing makes you feel like you are right there with them, wanting to laugh, cry, and celebrate right beside them. I would recommend these books to anyone who loves rocker books.

Box set
Enjoyed the book. Very entertaining. Funny.
This book turned me into a raving lunatic. I wanted to crawl in my kindle and female dog slap Michelle. How could a book make me so hostile? It has to be Ms. Summers writing. Can you imagine written words bringing out hostile thoughts. Gabi. I felt her heart break.

Rockstar's fall in love

Reckless Beat
I loved all books in this boxset. The characters were extremelly well developed and I adored each one of the five musicians: Mitch, Ryan, Sean, Mason and my favorite character, Blake. I really like how they behave themselves. Highly recommended.

This set was phenomenal! Oposites attract, bad boy gets the innocent sweet girl and falls head over heals. Who would have thought even rockstars get tired of groupies and want real love.

I love rock star books and this is one of my favourites. Eden draws you in the story and makes the characters so enjoyable to read. This had heat, romance and everything I could want from a rock star book. I highly recommend.

Blind Attraction
Alana Shelton had lead an extremely sheltered life. She grew up in Colorado at a sanctuary for abused women and was home schooled. She was with a friend she had known from when her mother lived in Richmond. The friend, Kate, had won tickets to Reckless Beat's album launch concert. Alana drew the attention of Mitchell Davies, lead guitar. He arranges for a security guard to tell Alana that he wanted to meet her after the concert. When the security guard is fired, the connection almost isn't made. But, Mitch finds her as she is leaving the hotel and takes Alana and Kate to his suite. That is when they encounter the security guard that causes an accident that leaves Kate temporarily blinded. Mitch devotes himself to Alana because he feels guilty about the accident.
I subscribe to BookBub and this was one of the books listed in one of my daily emails. Since it was free, I took a chance. It was a 50/50 that the book was written in first person. When I started reading, I was pleasantly surprised. Then I was hooked. I loved the bond between the members of the band. The naughty banter was hilarious. I also fell in love with the members of the band. I almost wished I was young enough to be a groupie! The only part of the story line that bothered me was how Alana meets her grandparents and later father.
Once I started reading the book, I could not put it down. And after I finished reading, I immediately bought the others.

Blake Kennedy has demons. He is in a chat room on the internet when he meets the woman that will save him. Gabrielle Smith first started chatting with Blake in the chat room then that grew to text, email and Skype. However, they have only voice called, not video chatted, so Blake doesn't know what Gabi looks like. Reckless Beat is on the Australian leg of their tour and Blake takes advantage to go several days early to meet Gabi on her birthday. They meet and the connection in instant.
Blake is the tortured bad boy of the band that went through addiction and recovery without the rest of the band knowing. He is covered in tattoos and sex personified. But, beneath that bad boy exterior is a good man with a soft heart. Gabi knows all to well about addictions. Her brother OD'd and later died on her birthday. Her parents can't acknowledge her birthday and seem to have distanced themselves from their remaining child.
Again, this was another well written book from Eden Summers. It just keeps building on the story started in "Blind Attraction". Each book spotlights the main character, but with the other members of the band playing a large roll. I loved the character of Blake. He is a former man-whore that has found the woman that he needs to save him. Gabi is a strong woman that isn't afraid to joke right back with the members of the band.
This was a book that I didn't put down until I was done. I loved the banter between the band members. It is classified as "erotica" but keeps a perfect, fine balance between being erotic and not overwhelming the plot. And yes, there is a plot in this novel.
Reckless Weekend
Reckless Weekend is 2.5 in the "Reckless Beat" series. It is written so there is a conclusion to Mitchell/Alana and Blake/Gabi's stories. Reckless Weekend is the weekend in Vegas before Mitch and Alana's wedding. There is a "honeymoon" contest between the bride and groom and a surprise HEA. It also gives some foreshadowing for Ryan and Sean. I loved the beauty salon scene with Sean and the Brazilian. I am hoping that when his book comes, that Maree is his girl.
I liked how the author chose to do a 2.5 rather than allowing the couples in the first two books HEA to overshadow the other books. The banter and sarcasm was great. It is erotic without being overpowering.
I can't wait to see what happens with Ryan and Leah.

Two years ago, Sidney Higgins and two of the members of Reckless Beat, Mason Lynch and Sean Taiden had a wild encounter in a hotel room. Mason vidoed it with his phone, then his apartment got broken into and the phone stolen. When the video was uploaded to the internet, Sidney is the one that lost everything. The record deal that she was about to sign was pulled. People wouldn't record with her. Now, two years later, Reckless Beat's manager, Leah, arranges for Sidney to write again with Mason. However, this time, there is a crazy stalker trying to get at Sidney.
I read this book in a binge of the four (including 2.5) Reckless Beat books. Each one maintains the same quality. The characters are great. There is a dynamic between the members of the band. They are sarcastic yet still are friends. I liked Sidney and Mason's story. Sidney was one of the few people that could see the real Mason. I loved that the mighty Mason finally met his match in Sidney.
The heat level in the book is intense (I thought my iPad was going to melt) and compliments the plot. Yes, there is a true plot. I love how Leah and the other band members play a part in the book.
Again, another great book.
