Violet Stonebridge didn't expect to inherit her family's mansion. After the last time she'd seen her grandfather and Aunt Vivian, Violet figured she'd been written out of her Aunt's will. She was wrong.
As luck would have it, she also inherited everything contained inside the stately mansion too. Not all luck is good luck.
Violet soon finds that while there are certain perks to her new life, the house has secrets and horrors of its own. With nowhere else to go, she is stuck trying to survive whatever infests Stonebridge Manor.
In the end, Violet learns the terrible lesson that sometimes death is better.
Or, is it?
Stalks: You reap what you sow.
Maggie and Kurt live a charmed life, or so it seems on the surface. They have a beautiful new home in an upscale neighborhood, and Maggie is pursuing her dream of writing.
Or she would be if she could shake the feeling that something is lurking out there in the corn – something stranger but no more terrifying than the monster she married.
And the horror in the cornfield is getting closer. Soon evil works its way into her home – and her heart – like a worm in an apple. All she must do is give in to the darkness, and no one will ever be able to make her afraid again.
Behest: This is how the end begins.
Will is a loser. He lives in his mother's basement and still works as a checkout boy at the same grocery store that's employed him for a decade. So, why would a demon choose him to carry out the murder of three middle school-aged boys?
This story does not have a happy ending, but it won't be the conclusion you're expecting. Behest contains graphic violence and a little gore. If you don't like frightening themes and need a happily ever after, this is not the book for you.

Sara Bourgeois is a Midwesterner through and through. She spends her time writing, reading, herding cats, and standing in her driveway during tornado warnings. (You can't see them from the basement.)
It was an ok read but thought the last one was a bit boring didn't really take to Lara who was acting like a lovestruck teenager over Brody not like a professional person and thought it was unbelievable after what happened to her friend she didn't seem to bothered nothing spoilt her appetite a bit daft really all amounting to nothing👎all in all an ok read to pass the time.
Sara Bourgeois is an excellent author. Her book 'Dark Ends' is a great read. Each story, in the beginning, blend together nicely. The last story in the book, while not as scary as I thought it would be, was a great read.
I really did enjoy this book, I could hardly put it down. Very well written and keeps you guessing. I would really recommend this book to anyone who is a horror fan.
