Keira Swanson, 28, has sworn off of love. With her heart still hurting from her breakups with Cristiano and Shane, she will not allow her magazine to use her for another love experiment.

Which is fine by them, because they want to send her off on a different kind of trip: to prove that someone suffering from a breakup can avoid a knee-jerk rebound affair and manage NOT to fall in love. To emphasize the point, they will NOT assign her a new tour guide. Instead, Keira will take a cruise to the Scandinavian countries and have to navigate herself.

Keira is thrilled to accept the assignment. There is nothing she wants more than to be alone, and go to the Northern climes, where she can cool her head, and where surely she will not find love.

But Keira does not anticipate the beauty of Copenhagen and of Stockholm (“the Paris of the North”) or the stunning hospitality of the Scandinavians.

With Christmas on the way, resisting a new love may be harder than she thinks….

The series grew less and less on me, but then I had to know what Keira decided to do, and which guy she chose.
Between Scandinavia and a cruise, Greece, Italy, New York, Ireland, and France, I felt like I got to experience the world. But I also experienced a selfish, immature girl who flitted from guy to guy.
While not giving anything away, I cannot handle Keira, and if I were any of the guys in this series, I would have dropped her. While love may feel different in different countries, or be expressed differently with different goals, I think she plays with the minds of the guys and her company.

I think this was the best one. I loved the “Scandinavian” way, I LOVED Milo. I mean who wouldn’t want a Milo?! He treated her right, fair, he was honest, handsome, funny, sensible. Fingers crossed Milo is finally the one!

I’m glad she finally decided to do what she wanted instead of what her editor told her.

She said she’d stay! Wonder how mom will take it that shes gonna Christmas. Will he be the final guy? He seems great.

The first book in this series was decent—good premise, decent writing—and I stopped reading this one as soon as I realized the main character wasn’t going to actually be on her own a little over halfway through. It’s just so cliché. Im tired of the stereotypical female and male roles and women not knowing themselves. I decided I wanted to finish some of the books that have been sitting on my ‘Currently Reading’ shelf this year, and since I for some reason haven’t wanted to remove it…. Ugh. I still have about 45 min left and I can hardly wait. But once it’s done I can count it as a book finished. I don’t think I can put myself through Book 5 after this even though I’m curious how it all ends.
