When an evil archdemon preys upon the Grove's young, C.L.A.W. member Grant Smith is eager to hunt down those responsible for kidnapping the shifter children. Grant's fervor dies quickly when his Omega assigns him to train recruit Cristia Hartwell, a sexy shifter that is more a distraction than an asset.
They venture out in search of the children until a snowstorm forces Grant and Cristia to seek shelter in a nearby cave. Can he resist her allure and remain professional, or will his desire smother his rational thought?
One thing is undeniable. The fire Grant builds to warm her frozen toes pales in comparison to the passion burning between them. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
I liked the view into the shifter community Grove and there lives there for a change. Despite an initial attraction of Fated Mates the mutual love isn't guaranteed, and it takes a difficult journey together to learn to appreciate and trust each other. The mating ceremony in the end is beautiful and enchanted.
Warrior's and C.L.A.W shifters come together to save the children. Grant and Cristia found each other as mates while trying to find the kids. Love this series can't wait for the next book
Grant gets a little testy when his omega places Crstia in his care to train as a warrior. Never one to get so bent about training new recruits, Grant is left in question of his own feeling. Cristina is forced to approve herself much sooner then intended when the stripling are kidnapped and the warriors go on the hunt. Grant and Cristia fight the skirm back to back, showing Grant that his little jaguar can handle her own and watch his back. Learning they are fated mates after Grant and Cristia partner up to rescue the kids and seal their mating. Passion runs deep when the warriors find the striplings and fight off the skirm. Crocell leading the skirm swears out her vengeance to get her sister back. Taking the stripings is only the beginning of what she'll do. Defeated by the Warriors, Crocell retreats for now, leaving Grant and Crocell to plan a mating ceremony. The Goddess has blessed yet another warrior, but danger is always around the corner.
Grant is a bear shifter under Hayden's command. He trained Orlando's mate Ember. Now Hayden wants him to train a new recruit, Cristia. All his bear and him want is to protect her and not allow her to fight. Cristina is a jaguar shifter from Alabama. She has come to the Grove to become a lieutenant in C.L.A.W. She heard great things about Grant's training, but now he is acting arrogant and like he doesn't want females fighting. The one blue demon twin that is still alive comes into their shelter and kidnaps twelve striplings(children). The C.L.A.W. team must try to find them. During the mission Grant and Cristia discover they are mates. Can he accept her fighting or force her to quit? Can they rescue the children in time? This short story adds a little bit of info to the overall story. Breslin's story is next. Love Trim and Julia's stories. They are a great writing team!
This short story is about a couple of shifters who are surprised when they are immediately drawn to each other. Grant is a bear shifter and Cristia is a jaguar. She comes to join the Seattle shifter group in the hopes of becoming a lieutenant in C.L.A.W. Grant is assigned to train her and they are immediately thrown into a crisis when shifter children are grabbed by skirm. Can Grant manage to remember that Cristia is a strong shifter who deserves a chance to prove herself and not a woman who he feels must be protected?
Love this short story of Grant & Cristia. Cristia is the newest recruit and wants nothing more then too prove she will be a great warrior and her Omega Hayden assigns Grant to train her. The chemistry is there but what they are feeling has too wait since the children have been kidnapped. When Grant & Cristia get stuck in a storm they can’t deny their connection anymore. Short story that had me wanting more. Absolutely love this series and can’t wait to read what will happen next.
This is a short, sweet little story of another side couple in the Dark Warriors world.
This couple has little conflict in their relationship beginning, it is just a boy mets girl, boy has to train girl, they find out they are fated mates and accept it with no issues and hurry to their ceremony.
It is not as involved as the larger novels, but it is a great little story to allow the reader to see their favorite characters while waiting for the next novel to come out.
I have been provided with a copy of Snowbound Seduction by the author for an impartial review. This novella is a part of the Dark Warrior Alliance series and is best read after Ice Warrior. I just loved getting to reenter this amazing world with this novella. It was just so easy to get lost in and I just couldn’t put it down. I finished it in one sitting and I immediately wanted more. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
I have enjoyed every book I have read in this series. I really recommend reading and can't wait to catch the ones I have missed. Grant is lucky his mate didn't give him a hard time because of him being a douche at their first meeting.
This was a very exciting read. A short novella that was a nice quick read and yet didn't feel rushed or cut short. A wonderful addition to the Dark Warrior Alliance series.
This novella gets you a lot of bang for your buck as it is full of fast paced action, several steamy bouts of passion, a great plot and fabulous characters. As more women are welcomed into the ranks of the Dark Warriors, an old evil revisits and kidnaps the striplings as an act of vengeance. Bear shifter Grant is paired with jaguar shifter Cristia to go and search for them and they are forced to seek shelter from a furious snowstorm. They generate lots more heat than the fire they build and cement their lives together forever. Will they find the children and bring them home safely, or will their passionate encounter sidetrack them until it’s too late? Read on and see if these two warriors can do their sworn duty before they are consumed by the fires of love. Great novella for a satisfying, quick read. I received a complimentary copy from the authors.
