I really enjoyed looking (and laughing) through this. Highly recommend if you’re looking for new ideas to try out in the bedroom (remember consent and safety!), or if you just want to look at people boning each other in over 300 ways.
I don’t think all these positions are easily achievable, even if you are really fit or flexible. Each of these are sex positions, but not all positions allow for full penetrative sex, so keep that in mind as well. Some are for partial penetration or just humping.
NOTE* the main demographic for this book is heterosexual couples, but like with any book on sex, anyone can look through it, and I think same-sex couples can adapt some of these positions for their own use and pleasure.
Either way, it’s a fun book to have and peruse. 😊
If you’re wanting a more comprehensive, in-depth, review, read ahead:
Notes:
• No photography, colour or otherwise; instead • The 371 sexual positions are illustrated in black and white line drawings of couples doing said positions, but the actual sex organs aren’t drawn in. The breasts and nipples of both sexes are visible, just so you know. • Easy to read: each position has its own page (sometimes it’s on a two-page spread) and is numbered and titled. There is a short description of each position, and sometimes the writing there is corny and silly in a sexual way, but hey, you gotta break the tension of finding dozens of new ways to have sex in some way, right? • Each position has a two-column chart for “sexercise stats”, one for him and one for her, where they show a figure drawing of each sex and label which muscles/areas of the body are particularly being used in the position, along with “energy burn”, “level of flexibility” (the more stars, the more flexible the person is intended to be for the position to work), and a recommended time for the position (usually 1-5 or 5-10 minutes). • Interspersed amongst the positions are full-page sensual/romantic quotes from the real texts of the Kama Sutra and The Perfumed Garden.
• The last few pages have 1) sex session recommendations with workouts of different series of sexual positions depending on what mood you and your partner are in. 2) position selectors based on what sort of position you are in the mood for, whether it’s a quickie or whether you’re looking gentle or hard core or you want ‘flex appeal’ (something that’ll really stretch or bend your body to a new level). Another thing I think people should be aware of:
• !! Not all the positions are for full penetrative sex; some are physically impossible to achieve full penetration, while others are for oral sex or partial penetration, which can be fun too!!
Well, this book surely had a lot of creative positions with interesting names. It also had some basic positions that were described in an entertaining manner. I never quite laughed aloud at anything in the book, but there were a couple of "sensual sexercises" that had me coming close. One thing that I loved about this book was that it shows which areas of the body are being worked out in each position. I also appreciated the variety included here. Some of these moves looked very difficult to pull off, but that makes me want to try them more. One thing that I didn't like about this book was its mainly heterosexual focus, though I suppose any gender composition of a couple of people could modify these moves. I also would have appreciated the inclusion of more BDSM-like props, as I was highly intrigued by the positions with medicine balls and other tools would be cool.
There's this part called Heavenly Steps and it goes like... "He plays cupid in this divine position and pierces her with his love arrow." And there are 300 of them! Left me dumbfounded but two stars for creativity though!
This book was great for a laugh. As in the positions in this book and the descriptions were so ridiculously funny that we couldn't stop laughing enough to really try any 😂😂
