Any author can tell you that strong emotion breeds new characters… and once born, they must tell their story. So what if I want to drink myself into oblivion? They don’t care, and it’s like my fingers have a mind of their own.

Jesse and Brooklyn are soulmates, bound by fate to be together. They know it. They can feel it, can see it in each other’s eyes. They may have missed their first shot together, but it doesn’t matter now. They’ll find their happily ever after… as long as their pasts and futures don’t collide in horrible and unpredictable ways.

Fate brought them together, and it made them cross paths once again. It’s futile to resist. That is… if fate is even real.

Do you believe in fate?

I couldn't put this book down! This is a story of fate or is it Kissmit, anyway it's about Brooklyn and Jesse how their love transcends the universe.
It's wonderful how these authors, David S Scott and Melissa Ann, write these characters, brings them to life in this book. I was swept away from the moment I opened the book! I believe you will too!
If you ask me, should you take the plunge and read this, the answer is YES!!! But bring tissue!
I can tell you that I had a hard time trying not to cry, so again, bring tissues when you delve into this story!

Every now and then you read a book that takes you on a journey and then takes you and flips you completely end over end. This is one of those books.

A brilliantly written story of love so profound that it surpasses eternity. When you find the one you are destined to be with, forever isn't long enough, eternity will only suffice. When these two people meet again, later in their lives, they have both been hurt by past relationships and have found that they were meant to be, they are soulmates. Their love is total and complete, but fate always finds a way to mess with people's lives and it does with them and in a way that breaks both of their hearts. But fate has nothing over destiny.

These characters are written so very well that you feel the depth of their feelings for each other, you feel their worry, their happiness, their pain. The supporting male character is strong and true in his friendship with Brooklyn, with his no holes barred way of letting her know what she needs to know, when she need to know it. He is more of a blessing her than she even realizes. Together, Jesse and Brooklyn will have your heart pounding, eyes watering and your soul singing. They are amazing together. I will not give anything more away about this story and I hope that no one else does in their review either. The reader need to be able to experience this book with no idea as to what to expect.

A beautiful story that will have you reading non-stop to reach the end. It will knock the breath right out of you and have you wondering what it is that you just read before you reach the end. If I could give this book more than 5 stars I would. What I can do is recommend this book so highly that you will have no choice but to grab it and read it now. An amazing read!

I was pulled into the story from the beginning, the author's have a wonderful way of keeping you guessing till the end.
The story is about two people who believe in fate and that everything happens for a reason. There are a few twist in the book that the reader will never see coming, which I love because it keeps your interest and you will want to keep reading to find out what will happen. Just when you think you have the story fiqured out, a new twist come in. While reading Fading Light, I could feel a connection to the characters, I laughed and cried. When you can feel emotions from reading a book, you know you are reading an amazing story.
This is the first book that Melissa Ann and David S. Scott have written together, I'm hoping for many more from them.

I’m going to start by staying this was a very interesting novella where I didn’t see that ending coming. I’m going to be honest and say that after reading the epilogue, I was a little confused, so I decided to read the prologue again to refresh my memory and it all fell into place. At first I thought parts were confusing but then it just clicked. At one point I had to pause from reading because my heart was racing and I didn’t want to go on, afraid of what was to come. When I finally got back to it, it broke my heart. Then the epilogue came and I was blown away by where it went. I’m being vague because I don’t want to give anything away. I’m still in shock since I totally didn’t expect it. There was one area I wished was a little more drawn out as it already had my anxiety up, but all in all, it was pretty good. I’d recommend it if you like novellas.

This book had me from the first page! It was very well written! It had me on an emotional rollercoaster that I want ready for, but I still couldn’t put it down!

The story is about 2 people that believe their fated to be together. There were many ups and down, but in the end fate won. Through a very beautiful tragedy they ended up together!

If you haven’t 1-clucked yet then I have to ask WTH are you waiting for!

I do hope that these authors will collaborate on another book soon!

Fading Light is a really well written about two people who are destined to be together. From the first word I was captivated, and I found the story easy to follow. It had realistic characters, that you can't help liking. They were passionate, and you could feel their emotions pouring off the pages. They were true soulmates.
