I loved it and want more of it. Super short but does it bring back memories of one of my favorite spy/assassin stories (this ties into the world of Robert Ludlum and James Bryon Huggins). Cannot wait to read several more of these short thrillers. My digital library has them all and I plan to read most of them. Come on David, lets have another full length book based on these characters!

Short story in which author returns to Saul, protagonist from the Brotherhood of the Rose. It is a short revenge story where Abelard protocol comes back to front (when I started to read the story I had a deja vu feeling because Brotherhood of the Rose starts almost in the same way).

Good short story - wont go into details here because to say anything more is to basically re-tell it. Chronologically it is set before the The League of Night and Fog and it explains the opening events taking place in Saul's kibbutz.

Recommended to all thriller fans.
