This collection of essays opened up a wound I’ve been carrying and showed me a path to healing. This collection unapologetically tackles anti-Black racism, racism in geek fandoms, sexual harassment and assault, and the wide range of macro-and-microaggressions thrown at Black women just for living.

Filled with so much good content that I as a fellow femme (and geek) can relate to, and even more eye opening and soul searching content that I as a white person need to sit with. Didn't want to put it down though I had to.
