Wired: For a Life of Worship Leader's Guide

What They're Wired For

Athlete or musician, quiet or “the life of the party”—every student you encounter is unique. No two are the same, but all have something in each is wired for worship. Not just any worship, but for that of their Creator! Designed for high school and collegiate settings, the Wired Leader’s Guide assists leaders in challenging students to know God’s purpose for their lives and guide them in fulfilling it. Mirroring the student version of Wired , the Leader’s Guide contains additional teaching resources and ideas for group interaction, as well as the same thirty-day worship journey to explore the depth of God’s character as a path to know Him more intimately.

Story Behind the Book

“I love teenagers. In fact, while writing this, I’m on my way to spend four days with more than 1500 of them at camp! My passion to see young people awaken to a lifestyle of worship that goes far beyond singing songs, coupled with the need for small-group material, stimulated the idea for Wired. I want to equip youth workers with a resource that can be used in small groups, large Bible studies, or Sunday school classes. I pray that Wired will encourage teens everywhere to a lifestyle that reflects God’s greatness to the world.” —Louie Giglio

A very good book for teens on what worship really means. Easy to read and understand, it brings out the truth that we were all made to worship God...and it's more than just singing songs in church. I have taught this as a youth Bible study more than once, and enjoy it everytime. (Also a good quick read for adults, too.) Also includes a devotional journal using the Psalms.

This book was very well written and an easy, quick read. The focus is on people relatively new to faith who are trying to create good journaling habits. While it may work well for some people, I can't say that it changed anything in my faith life.

Adored this prayer journal. The time when I was reading and journaling in this book were such sweet memories for me. I definitely recommend this for those who want to continue to seek more of God and want to worship Him in spirit and in truth. Amazing stuff.

I look forward to leading our 9th graders through this book on our upcoming camp-out - equipping them for a lifestyle of worshipping Jesus. "and whatever u do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him" Colossians 3:17

Good devo for worshipers - especially students.
His section on doing devotions out of the Psalms is very good and practical.
I highly recommend it simply for that!
