Do you feel stuck in your own head? Do you feel like life has to be better? We were all innocent bystanders until life handed us this thing called growth. We lost people we couldn't image and gained strength we thought we never had. Do you feel broken from a relationship? Feeling invisible with each passing day. Do you cut yourself on those broken pieces of your heart? Those chest pains and slight breaths that seem to hurt so bad
This was a solid and easy read. If you've ever struggled with depression or anything darker this is a good starting place to begin to unravel that mess. The entire book was personal and deep to the author but very relatable to anyone who has suffered loss, ideation, anxiety, grief and/or trauma. My favorite part was in the ending chapters, she touches base on all that she has dealt with throughout the entire book but in the ending chapters, it gets much more direct to the readers on how and why they should learn to to start finding new coping mechanisms and ways to love and heal themselves. Suggesting the purchase of this book to other sufferers, and overcomers, but I will be donating my finished copy to a friend in need. Hopefully, they pay it forward as well.
