Untuk mahasiswa rekayasa hayati (bioengineering) buku ini dapat dikatakan kurang untuk melingkupi materi-materi yang dibutuhkan dalam ranah rekayasa hayati, contoh saja bab 1 seharusnya tidak perlu dimasukkan mungkin bisa tetapi tidak diperuntukkan untuk menjadi 1 bab sehingga ada bab lain seperti reaksi asam-basa, friction loss dll bisa dimasukkan sehingga fundamental-fundamental tersebut dapat dipelajari. tetapi secara umum soal-soal yang diberikan cukup menantang dan out of the box, sehingga menaikkan rating buk ini.
