Another Christmas present for my niece. I know I loved My Little Pony when I was a little girl, so it's nice to see that it is still popular with kids. Also, this one focuses on sharing a love of reading, so I can definitely say that I like it.

Absolutely adorable.
When Rainbow Dash and Twilight are recruited to mentor the fillies at Junior Speedster Flight Camp, Rainbow Dash is sure they will love A. K. Yearling as much as she does. But she just can't get them interested in the stories. It's not until she and Twilight try a different approach that the fillies learn just how excited reading can be.
Nicely written with a fantastic message about there being a book for everypony. I love that each filly is encouraged to explore their own interests. As a librarian, I fully support this. Reader's advisory for the win!

My Little Pony -teemainen kirja lukemisen tärkeydestä ja lukuinnon löytämisestä. Aika puisevaa tekstiä, kuten usein näissä TV-sarjoihin perustuvissa kirjoissa. Lapsen mielestäkin taisi olla korkeintaan meh-tasoa, kun jäi pariin lukukertaan.
