I f*cked my son’s babysitter and now she’s having my baby… for Christmas. I’m a single dad who runs a company. There’s not much time left over for me. So should I feel guilty for wanting the babysitter next door? She’s mostly away at college. But when she’s home, she looks after my son. And I look after her. And her curves. And her sweet spot that only I know how to touch. Her parents think I go out a lot. They don’t know I like to stay in - in their daughter. But this Christmas, she’s bringing home a special package. It’s in her belly. And it has my name on it. Uh oh. I guess we can’t blame this one on Santa…
Christmas Daddy Next Door is a stand-alone novel of 80000 words. It’s s*xy and heart-warming to get you into the Christmas spirit! I’ve also included some bonus novels for your enjoyment.
It wasn't awful. Just very repetitive and it ends at 29%. Granted it does feel like a full length story, but like I said it's repetitive. She babysits, they have sex, they argue, they don't talk... rinse and repeat until the end.
The main issue I have with tbis book is the stiff, unnatural dialogue. So many of the conversations didn't sound how people really talk. It was awkward to read. It was difficult to imagine tge characters having tbeir conversations because no one talks like that - so stiff, not using contractions, stating things that should be shown instead. The second issue I have is all the back and forth. It was exhausting. The overall story, if you break it down, is a good one. I just think thag the book didn't do the story justice. It could have been put together in a better way.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. This is dramatic, steamy, sweet and emotional. Will is a loving and caring dad, sweet, oblivious and insecure. Ella is kind, caring, determined and vulnerable. They start as neighbors, then Ella becomes Wills babysitter, then his lover and finally his complicating and confusing relationship. Ella has has a crush on Will for a while, but his hot and cold streaks hurt and confuse her. A couple of very dramatic events take place that change their lives and make them both think about what they really want from each other. It's not an exciting story, but it is enjoyable and sweet.
Christmas Daddy next door. The older man younger woman isn't a storyline that appeals to me, but this book was told a little different and it touched my heart. I felt like Will may have been acting a little childish at times and momma had to set him straight. Ella went into the situation with dreamy eyes and realized she had to compete with a ghost. The story was exciting and kept you guessing what will happen next to Ella and Will's relationship. *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***
Guess this one wasn't for me... firstly I wanted a Christmas story got none of that.... secondly the guy I wanted to like where he is coming from... I liked her from the beginning till she got pregnant... if she loved the guy and his kid she did a shitty way of showing it... making up his life he had a business he was a billionaire with a kid who lost his mom now is losing his grandma so she can be a teacher!! Thirdly if they said Harvard one more time I was gonna have to throw my phone!

I really tried to give this book a chance. I read for pleasure & to escape to different worlds but I received a headache from this book. Honestly, the hero acts half his age & the herione was blah. Overall, this book was not for me.
Will is a grieving single parent who lost his wife a couple of years ago. He feels like his chance for love was buried with his wife. He has to be happy with his work and his young son. then it is college break and his friend and neighbor's daughter comes home. Ella used to babysit his son, Avery and Avery loved her. Now Will's nanny has quit so he is in trouble without a sitter. Luckily Ella is ready and willing to help. Will has a big surprise when he sees Ella for the first time in a few years. She has turned into a beautiful woman and Will can't get her out of his mind. He decides that he is ready to spend some passionate nights with Ella. Ella has loved Will and Avery for a long time but she thought she had no chance with Will. However Will is looking at her with desire in his eyes. This is her chance to make her dream of being with Will come true. They have some passionate times but Ella is feeling insecure especially when Will talks about his deceased wife. Will is also careless with the words that come out of his mouth. He is so self-centered in his thinking that he doesn't realize how much he is hurting Ella by his hot and cold attitudes. His stupid comments make Ella feel used and cheap and she breaks it off with Will before she returns to college. While she is away she discovers that she has a baby on the way. The next break Ella returns home, trying to get the courage to tell Will about the baby. Will has really missed Ella and wants her back in his life. He is hoping that they can go back to the way they were last break but Ella is cold and keeps pushing him away. Now Will has to decide if he is ready for a real relationship or if he just wants a friend with benefits. This is a good story. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
Long and the short of the story is that older rich neighbor decides to come out of his two year funk after losing his wife by trying to get his jollies with the neighbor's young Harvard student daughter. He first says he just wants to have a little fun but not hurt the young girl but in the end he acts like a douche and hurts her by only concerning himself with his carnal wants without consideration of her feelings. Yadda Yadda Yadda and then we get our HEA.
I liked the way the story moved a long in a steady pace and it was told well and it did keep me interested in seeing what would happen next for the couple but towards the end I was just disappointed in both characters. Will came off at the start as a stand up guy but ended up being a self-serving jerk and just a stereotype of men who are thinking with their third leg instead of their brain. While Ella went from confident young woman with goals to a woman who caves at every turn with no convictions and just added to make her seem not mature enough for an adult relationship. But every time she folds when it comes to Will the writer tries to make it seem that it's because of Love when really it's just lack of character strength in Ella. For a while Ella made me think of those battered females that say "I won't let it happen again. This is the last time" and yet they end up going back for more of the abuse. Then towards the end all of a sudden things turn on a dime and all is right with the world.
While the book kept me interested in seeing what will happen next and kept a good pace I felt it lacking something. Never did I get really emotional about one thing or another. I didn't laugh, cry, or root for one person or the other. It was a nice past time read but not a story I will want to read again.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. When Will, the grief-stricken, single father CEO, see's his neighbor Ella come home from Harvard on break all grown up, having her help out watching with his son Avery is a guilty pleasure. The 21-year-old intelligent, fun, woman gets underneath the man who is ten years older than her, causing him to feel guilty towards his deceased wife, yet he cannot stop the feelings, he is having, while Ella is ready to take on whatever Will is willing to give her. Back and forth the emotional tug of war is relentless, maddening and heartbreaking, are they just a casual fling? A distraction? Or is this leading to something more?
Well! I love Tia Siren's romances! She can make me feel all sorts of emotions throughout her original storylines; this one was no exception! While this sweetness pulled at my heartstrings, I felt a whole lot of frustration towards some fictional characters! ( What? I can't help it.. at this point in my life I have stopped fighting it) I loved the connection between Will and Ella, while they have some intensely hot times,( that bathroom scene** waving the white flag **) the relationship between them is a slow burn type feel. Quick wit, twists, and the occasional awe I want to hug my Kindle was discovered as I had myself hidden from the real world, reading this intriguing, yet beautiful Holiday romance in one sitting. I say check this one out for yourself!
This book is about a widower (and single father) named Will and a Harvard college student named Ella. Ella's family lives next door to Will and his son Avery. She babysits for him occasionally when she is home on her breaks from school. Ella has had a crush on Will for a very long time but has never acted on it as she knows he is not over his wife's death. Will has finally noticed that Ella is a grown woman. An attractive woman. They decide to embark on a sex only relationship while she is home on breaks, although it grows into more. Or so Ella thought, until she realizes she may been deluding herself into believing that. And breaks it off with Will. Only to find out she has a little something extra to remember him by!
I really enjoyed this story. Will and Ella together are hot as all get out. After all the misunderstandings between Will and Ella they still manage to work things out and move on. Especially once Ella fully understands that Will tends to just blurt out his thoughts without actually thinking about what he is saying or before he has even finished having a thought! Avery is an absolutely adorable little boy in this too! The only drawback for me was that they both seemed childish to each other at times. That is the only reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise, this was a great read! And the HEA was awesome!!
Tia Siren has woven her magical writing spell and produced a lovely Christmas story for us all to enjoy. This is about Will whose wife, Megan died, leaving him with their cute son, Avery. he is struggling to cope and asks his neighbour of their daughter Ella who is home from college would help him by looking after Avery. Ella is a lovely young woman and has had a major crush on Will for years. As they get to know one another Will stops leaving the house and stays in with Ella , so that they become so close that they start a sexual relationship. Now Tia has written with great sensitivity and this isn't about an older man using a beautiful young woman for sex. This is about deep emotions on both sides and it is good to "hear" how they are feeling. Ella is not some feeble young woman who always does as she is told nor is some ditsy young thing. She is intelligent but her heart is involved so she gets involved emotionally and the to-ing and fro-ing between the two of them is very entertaining and will keep you turning page after page till you finish. The ending is particularly enjoyable. This is a story that I will want to re-read as it's so good with believable characters, a terrific storyline that is well written. I'm looking forward to Tia's next story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.
I might say it is one more wealthy single daddy/nanny story which surprises me. Of course, there is the usual, instalust, cute kid, age difference (but not so much). But the single dad is far from a player, he is a widower still in the process of healing, he totally shut him down after his wife death, with so high walls around his heart to protect him against any love disease. But Ella will slowly grow under his skin. She is kind and has a crush for years for her awesome neighbor. But she thought she can do casual but her crush changes quickly to more. There is a timeline for this story, nothing is instantly set, we see them evolve and interact during each Ella’s college breaks. I understand Will needs time to process everything from his past to what is coming with Ella, but I would have liked like to slap his mouth sometimes, even if he is well aware he should think before speaking. Ella is well grounded, and faces what life throws under her feet, but she, at time, expected to quick answers from Will, he can’t take all his decisions in a heartbeat, he has a business, a kid, and at the end, he was more than perfect. As my first read by Tia Siren, I might say I was hooked and ready for more.
I had trouble connecting with the the main characters in this story. The H, Will, was hot and cold, wishy washy and very self centered in his thoughts and actions to the h, up till the very end. The h, Ella, spent the majority of the book either dropping her panties anytime he came back asking for more, or flying off the handle and ripping him a new strip and never giving him a chance to say his side before storming off. The storyline seemed to drag, with some unnecessary scenes and drawn out conflict. I appreciate that we get to spend time with their families and friends, as I dislike books that exist in a bubble with no outside interactions, however, some of the family scenes could have been shortened up. If you are looking for a strong Christmas theme in the book, you won't find it, as its just mentioned in passing during part of the book. That being said, the writing was good, the secondary characters were developed and others really enjoyed this book. * Overall, this book was decent read, I just had trouble caring about these characters. *I received an ARC of this book from Booksprout and this is my voluntary and honest review.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I enjoyed this story between Ella and Will. Will is a single father who's wife passed away a few years ago leaving him to raise his young son alone. Ella lives next door to Will and is in her final year of college. When Ella comes home to visit, Will asks her if she would like to babysit for him and earn a little money. Ella loves kids and agrees to watch Avery. Ella has always had a crush on Will and they flirt a little. When Ella confesses her crush, they sleep together but Will says he is not looking for a relationship. Ella is going back to school so that is fine with her. They continue to see each other when Ella comes home. Will is older than Ella and thinks it will matter, but Ella doesn't care about the age difference. The road to happiness doesn't go easy and problems arise. This was a good older man/ younger woman romance. I really enjoyed this book, I liked that Ella knew what she wanted to do with her life and wouldn't back down and do what her father wanted. The relationship between Ella and her sister was great. Great one.
This book wasn't really as enjoyable as I expected! Which is a shame because it had all the elements to make it a great book but unfortunately it fell short, and here is why:
- The Hero is supposed to be 10 years older than the heroine but she is waaay more mature than him! hearing what he says and being inside his head makes him seem like a confused teenager instead of the experienced older man I think the author was going f.
- Another thing that really annoyed me was how he kept pressuring the h to sleep with him even after she told him multiple times that it's over and explained her reason that she wants more than he's giving her, and every time his response was that something must be wrong with her and why is she doing this? it makes no sense!!!! oh, God forbid she doesn't want to sleep with him!!! Ughhhh!!!
- all the characters in the story fell flat ... I didn't get attached to any of them.
- I liked the h at first and how she was strong and didn't shy away from telling it how it is to the H and that's what made me continue reading but by the rushed ending she was as flat as the rest of them *sigh*
All in all, I didn't hate the book but I didn't really enjoy it either.
Ella's home from college on break and offers to be a babysitter single dad Will whenever he needs one. Will is grateful for the offer and accepts however he didn't expect to be attracted to Ella. Ella enjoys taking care of Avery and spending time with Will so its no surprise when they end up having sex. Will doesn't want a relationship just something casual and things quickly changed. When Ella starts to realize that Will may just see her as a place holder she cuts things off before she goes back to school. Will thinks she'll change her mind when she comes back for the next break but she doesn't come back until Christmas break and with an attitude. Will pursues her wanting to start their casual thing up again but Ella has a secret and refuses to go back into a sexual relationship only with Will. Can Will see that Ella is more than a fling to him?
This was a great holiday story. Once I started it I couldn't put it down. Another five star hit by Tia Siren is you haven't read anything by her this would be a great book to start with.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. Wow! What a great story from Ms Siren. I have enjoyed many of her books and this latest one does not disappoint. The story is well written. Ella and Will are great together even though at times it seems their biggest problem they have is saying what they are feeling and having the other understand what it is they are truly trying to say. This was a sexy hot rad and the chemistry they have is great. I was pulled in from the start. My heart broke for Will who was having such a hard time dealing with his feelings for Ella and feeling as the guilt he brought on himself in regards to his late wife. My heart also went out to Ella who often wondered whether Will had true feelings for her or if it was something else. I was glad to see that they were able to finally able to sit down and explain what each of them was feeling and work through it all to get to a happy place in their lives.
A little bit taboo but not by much. The babysitter is only 10 years his junior but.....holy crap the things that can be said about an older man. Yeah, babysitting was never like this in my days.
Okay with that being said, it was so much more than a hot, sexy read. Two great characters with strong attraction and add into the mix the sweetest, most intelligent little guy and it just make you say "awwww". Ella may have had a privileged life in one sense but she works very hard for what she wants and being a teacher is her dream. With an unsupportive family he life has been daunting . Will tries his hardest to not react to his libido and does a fine job till Ella makes the move. Despite him having to deal with raising his son alone and the loss of his wife. These two create some great heat but can that get them both past their issues to find happiness together? Read it and see. It offers you everything you could want in a romance.
I absolutely love Tia's writing. I absolutely love her books and her unique storylines. This is one of them that you cant not love. It is well written from the beginning to the end with some twists and turns that keep you wanting more from this book. I absolutely love Will and the love that he has for his son Avery. I love that little boy he is just so sweet and cute in this story. I loved how these two got together and tried to make things work through everything that was in front of them. Ella is strong no matter what .She doesnt bend for anyone or anything. She stays strong no matter what is thrown at her and believes in herself. I absolutely loved her character. There was just something so unique about her. I absolutely loved this cute little christmas story. Very well written with great character chemistry.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.
In this book we meet Ella and Will. Will has been morning his wife for the past 2 years. However when the neighbor girl comes home for spring break he starts to see her in a new light. At first all Ella is looking for is to watch Will's son Avery. She realizes after just a short while that she might be looking for more with Will too. However can they get past the age gap between them also what happens when this turns into just a little bit of fun?
This book is amazing that will have you hooked from the first word to the very end. It does have a few twist and turns that I want to tell you all about but don't want to ruin it for anyone else. I will say that I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.
Tia did a good job with Will and Ella. Will is a single dad whose wife died a couple years ago. He still misses her and wants to be a good dad for his son, Avery. Ella is home for Spring Break from Harvard and will have only one year left after summer. She has had a big crush on Will since he moved in. When Will needs someone to look after Avery, he asks Ella to babysit for him. Will is feeling conflicted over having feelings for Ella. They decide to keep it casual, but it turns into anything but. Will has a tendency to 'word vomit' and that comes between the two of them. Their chemistry is off the charts and they have great sex, but Ella wants more from him. Can Will get past the guilt of loving Ella, and give them a chance at happiness or is that and his 'word vomiting' going to get in the way. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. I generally love anything written by this author, but this one was a little hard to love. I liked the idea, but it dragged with the back and forth. Will often didn't seem like the kind of go-getter that would be a billionaire before he was thirty. I was glad to see him come out of his mourning and be interested in Ella, but the 2 of them had a serious communication problem. Neither of them were dummies or they wouldn't have gotten as far as they had in school or their career. So love or lust makes you stupid? The sex scenes were hot, as always, thank you very much Tia! The bones of the story were good, Ella had a crush and got to realize it. Were they good for each other? Would they ever get to their HEA? Read the book!
Wow what a book! This was simply amazing. This book was so well-written and thought through. Tia has a way with words that hold your attention to the very end.
This is Ella and Will's story; well let's not forget Avery too. He is the cutest little boy. I loved his addition to the story. Now Will is a great dad but since his wife's death he has not been the same. That is when he sees Ella all grown up and man is he interested in her. But to what extent is he interested in her. Is she a distraction or a girlfriend? Well you will just have to read and see if he figures it out before he loses her.
Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review. The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too
Will and Ella are neighbors. Ella has had a major crust on Will for a very long time. When she comes home on a visit from Harvard, Will asks her if she can babysit his son, Avery. Ella knows Will lost his wife a few years back and she wonders if he has really gotten over the loss. Ella and Will have an amazing chemistry and hot as sin sex. However, they tend to have a bit of a communication problem; along with misunderstandings of what the other is saying and just all out, confusion on how they really feel for one another. Read this excellent older man/younger woman story to see how they get to their HEA and see if Avery is kept happy in the process. Very great book by and equally great author!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book for an honest review. Another amazing read from Tia. I loved this story of Will and Ella. Will is Ella’s next door neighbor that’s she’s had a crush on since forever and when she comes home from college and Will asks her to babysit Avery she jumps on it. The chemistry is smoldering hot, but with miscommunication and misunderstandings these two are headed for a bumpy road. Ella is just not sure if Will has really gotten over the loss of his wife. So many questions to be answered and the feelings creeping up during this relationship, only if they could find the words to express how they feel. Such a great read, I loved it and I highly recommend it. You have to get it to find out what happens with Will and Ella.
Great read! Well written with great characters. Will lost his wife two years ago, he's still in mourning when his nanny goes out of town and leaves him needing child care for his son. Ella is home on spring break and wanting to make a little money she offers to babysit. Will takes notice that Ella has grown up into a very sexy young woman, making realize though his wife is dead he's not. Ella, deciding that they're two consenting adults, a little bedroom entertainment would be fun, after all she's had a crush on Will for years. When Ella left for school their time was supposed to be up but Will finds he likes spending time with Ella both in and out of the bedroom. What happens after Ella graduates...
I felt like the book went around in circles. Will is widower with a child and Ella is a 21 year in her final year at Harvard. Ella would babysit for Will and spend so much time together Ella finally told Will she had a crush on him. I felt that Will just wanted to have sex with a young girl. They would sleep together on and off. Ella would get upset over something Will said or did and swore she would not sleep with him again. Of course Ella went back for more even though she told her sister she felt she was just a plaything for Will. Never once when they had sex did either think about protection. The story just went in circles. She loved Will she hated Will. But she always ended up back in his bed. This book was not for me.

Ghosts and Distractions...
Since his wife's death, Will has shut himself off from everything except his son and his company. Lately he has been feeling like something is missing. When Will gives into his desire for Ella, he feels guilty. Ella has had a crush on Will for a long time but he was married at the time. Can they keep things casual? Is Ella only a distraction from the ghost of Will's dead wife? What will happen when Ella's secret comes to light? This was a great story. Will and Ella both had trouble admitting their feelings and communicating.
