DNF at 60%. I'm not going to make myself miserable by reading a book that I'm not enjoying.
I've already had a rough day. I got sunburned during my 4 hour soccer practice I had to run. I now have 2 busted up knees and I pulled a muscle in my back because I'm sick and I was coughing too hard. So this is me being not nice because I don't have to be and listing all of the problems I am having with this book.
1) No world building.
Nothing. Not enough at least. There are all of these different societies and regions but none of it is explained. There is apparently a culture of reverse harems but no discussion of whether this is because of societal norms or if there are fewer men than women. No discussion of how the magic is formed or the source of the gods. No legends. No awkward jokes. Nothing.
2) Sexy-on-legs character with only one obvious flaw which is being clumsy.
Again, being clumsy is not a flaw. Or really I should say that it isn't enough to be the fatal flaw of a character and shouldn't be the point of emphasis, especially if the character is full grown. I expect clumsiness out of a kid growing into their legs. If you are an adult, you have to have enough spacial awareness to not damage yourself on a regular basis. This girl has had wings her entire fucking life and still can't get the hang of them.
Also, everybody wants to have sex with this girl. She is so pretty and they talk a lot about boobs and ass and all that shit but there is no chemistry between any of the other characters. They all exist to interact with her. Yawn.
3) Food. Sex. Class. Sex. Politics. Sex.
Good lord it is every other thought with this girl. Take a fucking break. Go get a massage or something and relax. That kind of thirst ain't cute.
4) Special fucking snowflake.
She can't swear. She has unique wings that nobody else has. She has the major plot twist. She is going to save the world.
Bigger yawn.
5) Dry as chalk
The characters are pretty damn flat. They don't have the depth to keep me involved in their stories. They don't have real motivations other than the main character and it is just so boring. I don't care if their lives all revolve around one girl but having them obsess over her is really dumb.
6) ERRRBODY IS HUNG LIKE A HORSE
There's no variety there, as with many adult leaning books. But seriously? Everybody is above average? I mean all of these guys are carved from marble and make stallions blush. And they are always like ready to go. Don't they ever get dizzy or lightheaded? It's like that old joke about God giving man two heads but only enough blood to operate one at a time.
I'm over it. Why am I having so many DNFs lately? This sucks.

The blurb was highly misleading I think. To summarize it said it was about a spirit whisperer competing to get into the Royal college. That she would be accompanied by six ghostly boyfriends.
And this is what it’s actually about from as far as I can tell. She gets into mischief in which she meets a ghost who was a prince. She has a shaky relationship with another prince, the first one’s cousin and he’s killed. Then there’s a thief that’s a ghost whom seems to appear out of nowhere. Then there’s a living griffin dude who wants to marry her.
As for number five and six I’m not sure, there’s a ghost teacher but I don’t think they’re even friends let alone a boyfriend. The last? Not a freaking clue.
In honesty I have no idea what the fuck is going on. At one point she’s gonna go dancing with the living prince and then they’re being attacked by some supernatural boar.
It was just a mishmash of info being vomited on you with absolutely no rhyme or reason.
I will say the steam was pretty good but considering it’s the only bits that made sense I can’t in good conscience give this any other rating.

Wow, I marely made it through two chapters before I quit. I think that's even a record for me. This book was so not what I expected. From the blurb and the great reviews I was really looking forward to reading it but boy oh boy was this a disappintment. The heroine was just so childish and not even strong. And what's with the action in the first chapter, are you for real? Where's the build up? I felt like I was thrown into cold water and was then left to drown. Safe to say this book didn't make any sense to me at all, so I thankfully stopped myself from going deeper into that rabbit hole.

Cliffhanger:
Now I understand what everyone was talking about, when they said how greatSpirited was.
The heroine was strong, witty and her clumsiness made me love her that much more. At first her 'cursing' somewhat irritated me, but I quickly got used to it and frankly even started to enjoy it. I love the fact that instead of stopping to swear altogether, she found an alternative.
The guys were well written, I loved each and every one of them (I have not warmed up to Spicer yet, though) and how they brought different strengths and character traits to the table. I cannot get over the fact that I did not prefer one over the other and liked them equally, which does not happen in my case too often.
The plot never left me bored and even though there was a generous amount of describing and internal monologues, it did not bother me in this case, which was another delightful surprise as that is what usually gets me to either lower the rating or DNF the book.
And I am not done gloating over the book yet, so bear with me
I loved how respected and well treated women were in Amerin. The fact that they were encouraged to have multiple lovers (it was frowned upon if a man decided to have a harem) and were not considered weak or a liability easily helped win me over.
The only downsides were too much dying going on that felt slightly over-the-top and the lack of world-building as I found there was not enough information given about the different regions, their traditions and why things were the way they were. Besides that, it really has been a while since I enjoyed a book as much as I enjoyed this one.
The ending, however..... I'm picking up Haunted right after I finish the review as it physically pains me not knowing... certain things. Would definitely recommend Spirited to fans of reverse harem and C.M. Stunich.

Well shit that was flubbing fantastic!!! It had a slow start and one chapter was infuriatingly long but I got through it and ended up loving this! It’s one of my favorites from C.M. and I need book 2 now!!!

Thank you Sharon J for recommending this series to me. This was an incredible read. This is one of my favourite books of 2018. The story was amazing. The characters were amazing. Brynn was amazing. She caused mini-disasters, but I love her so much. I love that she has a big heart. Also, I love her desire for her men. The guys were amazing. I think their individual characteristics made them all better for Brynn. I love that they can be sweet or arrogant. The ending made me want to read book 2. The cliffhanger made me sad. Overall, an amazing read.

When I started reading book 1 I really liked it, but then a common theme emerged... everybody dies. In an unnecessary kind of way. As I finished book 2 it just got a little too repetitive for my taste. Same situations where people end up the same way... dead. Keep in mind that this series is a reverse harem and it includes a lot of sex.
I understand that she is a ghost magnet and that she can talk to them, but why would you want everyone around her to be a ghost? It is just so predictable to the point of being boring.
Also why all the “I want them all” but “I feel so guilty”? It is supposed to be a different society where having more than one husband is the norm. Why would there be guilt? Why are you trying to present her inner monologue through our standards instead of the ones from the society you created and placed her in? So of course when you are in that situation you will be a paragon of monogamy and just ask them to masturbate so you can watch... what?
Something else that I didn’t like was that the relationships developed in book one get completely ignored in book two in favor of developing new relationships. I get it that it is a harem and you have all these relationships to develop. However you can’t completely ignore the ones you already worked on, otherwise it just feels like she is trading ones for the others, not like it is all going to work out.
Beyond that, some of the plot is pretty good. The danger she is in from friends and foes is well developed. As I said when I read book one I liked it a lot, but as the series continues it was more disappointing than exciting.
Also it ends in a cliff hanger... again. And the second book is very short.

I really enjoyed this book although I enjoy most of C. M. Stunich books. The world she brings you into keeps you wanting to know more.
Brynn was adorable. She was entertaining and her relationship with her guys was so cute to read about.
I am glad I waited to read this because that ending!!
Can't wait for the next book.

3.5 Stars. I had a love hate relationship with this book.
All of the cursing without using curse words was driving me bat-sh*t (censored so my review will be allowed) crazy. It was so excessive and redundant. It made me want to DNF at times but I loved everything else so I kept at it.
The main character, Brynn, is half angel and anytime she uses a curse word, she would lose a feather from her wings. The feathers grow back but it is still something she wants to avoid. And she explained all this, ad nauseam. Sometimes words that aren't curse words, such as jerk, would also cause her to lose a feather. Really any word that has a negative connotation to it. So here is my biggest issue with that, swapping out a regular curse word for a non traditional curse word is still using a word or phrase with a negative connotation. It is still intentional cursing just with different words. So if I were to say, in anger, "stapler you, you paper clipping, highlighter" I am still meaning something negative, am I not? Feathers should still be lost. And rather than making up alternative curse words, maybe just avoiding them altogether would have been a safer bet for keeping all the feathers intact. Then to make matters worse, there were times where she said something like a**hole but no feather was lost. It just didn't add up.
Here are some examples from the book:
-“Go flub yourself,” I growled at a thick tangle of blackberry that had gotten wrapped around my ankle. “You bleeding blatherer.”
-Hell's bells—since Hell was an actual place it didn't count as a curse word so no lost feathers for me—
-“Flub mice,” she said, only she didn't actually say flub but I wouldn't lose a feather even thinking about the F-word that famously rhymes with duck.
-“Flub, I told you to run.” He also didn't exactly say flub, but I was getting to the point where my mind just sort of dubbed that word into place of a lot of others.
-...powers—a real blitz (so much less sexist than the alternative word, that infamous witch with a 'B')
-he really must have been a serious bad-bum (badass counts as cursing, okay?)
-“Come look and then, if you still think I'm full of poop”—Elijah maybe didn't exactly say poop there but I dubbed the word in my head automatically—
- “Told you,” the bum-hole (or asshole as Jas might say) said as he leaned one muscular shoulder against the crumbling edge of a marble column.
-“You're a … mother flubbing bleeding blatherer,” Brynn growled out under her breath,
-See? Any word with an extremely negative connotation—whoever used jerk in a positive light?—counted against my feathers. It didn't have to be a 'curse word' per se.
-“Holy ship,” she said, but well, you get the picture now right? She didn't actually say ship. Change that P out for a T and then …
All of that aside, I really liked the characters and I liked the story. I think that a lot of creativity went into this book and I loved watching everything unfold. I liked that we got to know each of the harem and they all had unique personalities and skills. Each man was distinguishable based on his own merits. And I loved the love story being created. The relationship Brynn has with Air is my favorite. Their bond is something rare and beautiful. I also liked the strong friendship that Brynn has with her handler, Jas.
I didn't want to put this down. I finished it the same day. Outside of the annoying redundant explanations of her difficulties with cursing, this book is captivating. I was totally enthralled.
The cliffhanger though, holy crap is it a big one!!! I can't wait to continue reading to the next book to find out what happens next. I am a little concerned that I haven't been able to find a release date for book 3 yet. If book 2 is anything like book 1, I will need book 3 as soon as possible.
Audible: This audible was a bit different than what I am used to. There was a male narrator and a female narrator. Anytime there was direct dialogue from a male character during one of Brynn's chapters, the male narrator would speak the dialogue. It caught me off guard and took me a minute to get used to it, but I did and I enjoyed it. Also, the male narrator acted as well as read his parts, so like if the character laughed, he would laugh. Not a bad thing, just a bit different from what I usually listen to. I liked both narrators and their voices. They were clear and easy to understand and determine who was speaking at the time. The one critique I do have is that some of the pronunciations were different between the narrators and I would have preferred that they compared notes or something ahead of time when it came to something as important as, Airmienan, a very important character's name. All in all, I enjoyed this as an audiobook and I recommend it.

4 Stars…but
First of all, this book is most definitely written as a YA. All the interactions and dialogue felt like it was happening between 15-16 year olds. This wasn’t a problem until sex was introduced…then it felt a little weird and a bit creepy. Though, to be fair, sometimes 20 year olds in real life act like teenagers in my estimation. Maybe my perception is a bit skewed.
This book was really good, the author did an amazing job with everything. The world building was awesome, we get to know all of the characters and we develop feelings for them. This story really draws you in. The author did a phenomenal job.
However, I have some serious complaints about this story. Such as, WHY THE FUCK is the author killing off every guy in the FMC’s prospective harem?! Not cool Stunich, not cool at all. I know the goal is to make a reanimation spell, but damnit, does she really need to kill ALL the guys?? The first time she did this it yanked me entirely out of the story and I was ready to shut the book. I’m glad I didn’t, but still…
Also, the author really overdid the ‘clumsy’ heroine trope. There is a difference between being slightly clumsy and destroying a room anytime you try to walk. This characterization was insanely overdone.

First of all, this book is most definitely written as a YA. All the interactions and dialogue felt like it was happening between 15-16 year olds. This wasn’t a problem until sex was introduced…then it felt a little weird and a bit creepy. Though, to be fair, sometimes 20 year olds in real life act like teenagers in my estimation. Maybe my perception is a bit skewed.
This book was really good, the author did an amazing job with everything. The world building was awesome, we get to know all of the characters and we develop feelings for them. This story really draws you in. The author did a phenomenal job.
However, I have some serious complaints about this story. Such as, WHY THE FUCK is the author killing off every guy in the FMC’s prospective harem?! Not cool Stunich, not cool at all. I know the goal is to make a reanimation spell, but damnit, does she really need to kill ALL the guys?? The first time she did this it yanked me entirely out of the story and I was ready to shut the book. I’m glad I didn’t, but still…
Also, the author really overdid the ‘clumsy’ heroine trope. There is a difference between being slightly clumsy and destroying a room anytime you try to walk. This characterization was insanely overdone.

A Sensational Read

I found this a sensational read and loved every second. I definitely will be trying more of Stunich’s work. This was such a KU bargain that was a 100% jackpot hit.
The characters are drawn in full Technicolor and have both depth and complexity as they develop their relationships with each other and with the protagonist, Brynn. The reverse harem aspect is subtly done, leaving the story to gently establish the burgeoning relationships, drawing the reader into each development, giving rhe novel the gentleness that begins to establish true love.
This is a very special read and I am on tenterhooks for more.

There are some intriguing parts to this story, enough to keep me interested enough to check out book two. There are also some pretty big plot holes and not much in the way of world building. Overall this was entertaining but yet did drag in places, it's a bit of a mixed bag really. Book two will really make or break this story for me, not sure I'd purchase the book, but am willing to continue on since it's Kindle Unlimited.

It took me a while to get into this book. The start is weird and confusing and didn't grab my interest at first. Nonetheless I pushed on because of all the raving reviews and recommendations I'd gotten and hol-y I wasn't dissapointed.

This was meh… I still don’t think I know what’s happening. It was just quick relationship after quick relationship with no real building. We went from being on a mission for the queen and not knowing why, to being at a college. What is the plot of this story? Just seeing how many ghosts this girl can get?
I saw potential so I kept reading and the end I finally was like oh, are we getting some idea of what the point is but we were left on nothing 😫 I like this author (I read some of HAVOC but haven’t finished) but this one is just not it.

I've been excited for this book since the author first teased it months ago, and I was not disappointed! I tend to rate reverse harem (RH) books on a personal bell curve I have just for RH books, and this author always is always solidly at the top of the curve for me. I probably still like this author's Rock Hard Beautiful series best of all, but it's a tough call.
This is the first book in a paranormal RH series, and it is a full-length book, which I really appreciate. I love all of the characters, including all of the heroes, and the concept of the story. There is not much "academy" (school) at all, if that is what you are looking for, but the plot is really interesting and fun even without it. I enjoyed the fact that I went into this book only knowing the basics, and not knowing who the love interests were going to be/when they would appear, so it was exciting as I discovered everything. There is still so much to learn about some of the heroes, and their relationships with Brynn, and I truly cannot wait for the next book.
The only negatives for me were so minor compared to my enjoyment of the book overall, but I will list them anyway: there could be a tad more fine-tuning in terms of copyediting, a couple of extremely minor inconsistencies (at least they came across that way to me), and there is an overly liberal usage of ellipses throughout the book which kind of bugged me.

Okay bad rating becuase main character Brynn is very indecisive. I feel like with the opportunity given she should pf gone all out to help her best friend. Not cry about it for ages. Also the random people who keep joining her harem, is getting a bit odd. Harems can be fun but the characters dont make nuch sense? Only two guys knew each other and some how the other 4 are okay with each other. Also no one seems to fall in love with her for her personality. All they see is big boobs and a huge arse?? The dialogue is lacking to build actual relationships between any of them. You dont really feel moved by her or what happens to her.

Made about 34% and that was with a lot of generous page skipping. I could not get into this book for the life of me, it just felt like rambling, Maybe to much going on, and even confusing. it was Just not worth the major headache to even try to get through

Oof. Why is this rated so high?

Honestly this was a really rough read for me. Let's start with what I always say. A reverse harems magic number is 4. With 4 guys you can have a plot, they can get their own scenes, and the connections can make sense and be genuine. I saw this as a huge fan of the genre and as someone who primarily reads it.
I honestly am not sure how many she is going to end up with at this point. I think it's at 7? If somehow the fox brother also becomes a real guy and is in the harem. None of them get the time they need to really care about them. We sort of connect with Eli for a few chapters before Air eclipses the sun. We kind of get Air for a while and the other 5 just sort of come in and out. Honestly it's just a lot thrown at you without much substance. If you asked me the names of the other members after 400 pages I cannot tell you. No idea, they are hard names I didn't really need to learn yet.
Speaking of no substance. This main character........holy shit. The repetitive reminder of her not cussing for the whole first half of the book drove me insane. We understood...after the first 7 times. Then the "oops I'm just so clumsy and hopeless". She was annoying it came of as "pick me". Also you grew up in a society that solely does polyamory and we are still stuck on annoying conversations about that and it keeps you from connecting with others? You also grew up in a society where relations between your kind and ghosts occurred so often there is birth control and a whole race of beings because of it and again you are just morally opposed until you're not because your precious prince?
And this plot. It is everywhere. We have the queen and her secrets who for some reason is sexually involved with both the main characters parents who had one scene in a whole book but are key players in the hunt for the spell to work. Why both her parents does that not get too weird since they aren't in her harem because her entire harem was killed?
We call this an academy book but we spent two chapters at the academy and only to add the hot professor ghost (yawn). Then we have zero movement on the plot line for the spell but not because we are getting crucial relationship building, but because we get annoying back and forth between characters without much pay off. I feel so bad but even the sex scenes didn't out weigh the rest of this book.
Usually I can really get into this author and the humor and the faster pace but this book is a huge miss for me. And I found out the series hasn't been finished in over 4 and a half years so why bother! If the author can't bother to write it then why bother to read it?

Romance: First love friend that grew up together but she never thought anything could develop since he is the Crown Prince of the kingdom.
Sex: She does have sex in this book so far with only 2 of the guys but how it happened worked with the story.
Reverse Harem: So far the guys that are most likely going to be in her harem I can get behind.
Story: I found the parts were she dose not say bad words a little to repetitive but whatever She is 20 turning 21 and a little clumsy her age which I appreciate most of these reverse harems are in High School so seeing an older MC is very appreciated. It also makes the descriptions of the guys more believable the men yes MEN not High School kids are also in there late 20's VERY much appreciated. We have all sorts Griffins, Foxes and angels just to name a few.
Quick fun read! Looking forward to book 2 the ending ended on a cliff hanger.

CM Stunich has a fascinating and wicked mind. Wooh! I liked ALL the heroes, even that inexplicably slow prince, and the world and plot are very interesting. There's a twist at the end that killed me because noooo! Damn it, I want them all nice and cozy. That better get mended!
The heroine is generally pretty likable, even if all her alternative curse words are dumb as HELL. 'Flub' and 'flubbing' on every page...What the hell is that? She sounds retarded. 'Eat ship and die'? *face-palm* Could not take her seriously, man.

SPOILERS THROUGHOUT:
I really enjoyed this book. It was fast paced and I thought that the story flowed well. I was interested in where the plot was going and I was intrigued by the world that C.M. Stunich has created.
I liked Brynn. She was different from most female characters I have read about in a way that I can't explain. She wasn't what I expected and I was pleasantly surprised by that. I thought that C.M. Stunich making her extra clumsy was an interesting touch to her character. I have seen main characters stumble sometimes but I swear, Brynn can't go a few paragraphs without stumbling or knocking something over. It is a miracle that she has stayed alive as long as she has.
Something that I also thought was interesting was that it was socially acceptable for the females to have multiple husbands but it was frowned upon for the males to have multiple wives. I thought that little tidbit was unique and interesting.
Now to the negatives... I felt like the world building was a little weak. There were some concepts that I felt weren't explained/explored enough. An example would be the griffins. When Brynn rode one, I immediately thought of the traditional griffins because it wasn't explained what they looked like. When Vexer started flirting with her, I was weirded out because I pictured a half-lion/half-bird. It took me a few moments to realize that Vexer was part human. I felt like if C.M. Stunich was going to use terms from our world for different species, she should explain that better and be more descriptive.
There were also a few characters that I would have liked more details about but considering this is the first book in the series, I can let that slide. So far, I like all of Brynn's potential love interests.
I also felt like the synopsis was a little misleading. I went into this book expecting Brynn to already have six dead boyfriends so color me surprised when only three of her love interests were actually ghosts and most of them, she hadn't met yet.
Also in the synopsis, it mentions Air as one of the ghosts and I felt like that ruined my emotional bonding with him a little bit. I knew he was going to die beforehand and I felt like that was an unnecessary spoiler. I might be in the minority when I say that a part of me doesn't like Air. Something about him throws up a red flag for me and I seriously think he is hiding something from Brynn that will impact the coming books.
Overall, I enjoyed this book. I hope that there is a little more character development in the coming installments and I would like some more world building. I think that this series has potential and I am excited for the next book. I do hope that Spicer, Talon, Elijah, Vexer, and Dyre get to spend more time with Brynn. Right now, she is only really connected with Air and I want more of the other boys. I am excited got the next installment and I can't wait to read it. That cliffhanger was brutal and I need to know what happens.

Alright, I have mixed feeling about this one.
Things I liked for sure : The unusual world interpretation mixed with (our) world mythology and objects - mainly referring to the Japanese Katana and Yokai - as well as the concept of angels, demigods etc. and the idea of being able to see ghosts right after they die.
Apart from that, how the mc met the ghosts and the boys from her harem. Only by the end of the book, we were presented with other characters POV, though I think it would've been nicer if there was more throughout the book to know how the boys felt towards Brynn.
Lastly the fact that in comparison to the language of other C.M. Stunich books, where there's quite a lot of swearing which I don't mind at all, it was refreshing to see none of that in Spirited. HOWEVER...
Things I didn't like : The adjustment to the whole 'swearing business' took over up to 50 pages in the beginning, which got a little annoying. Personally, I think a few well-formed mentions would've conveyed the importance of swearing(in this concept) just as well.
Another thing was the veeeery slow buildup to the spell they had to perform. Despite the importance of the situation (as presented by the Queen and the death of a certain character) I was surprised the amount of time they wasted when gathering ingredients etc...

Interesting fantasy world. I have problems with it, though. The protagonist is getting it on with ghosts. It's okay to do that, I guess. But, the author just expects us to buy into it. I need to know how this works. The ghosts are able to become physical enough to have regular sex, but, I'm sorry... they can get her pregnant if she's not careful?... Ghost sperm is a thing?...
My other problem with it, aside from the occasional typo that was overlooked, is that there is inconsistency. In one chapter, the first person narrator (also, what is it with self-published authors and first person narration. Stop it!) explains that the ghosts can choose whether or not they feel pain, and in other chapters they feel pain when they don't have to and they don't like it. Huh? Exactly.
My last complaint is this: writers... please... don't end a book at a climax. I get that you want us to buy the rest in the series, but there needs to be some kind of temporary resolution with a cliff hanger. That cliff hanger, if done right, will make us buy the next book. But, when you end the book at the height of a battle scene, you're just being a lazy writer.
This novel only gets two stars just because the author has a lot of potential. Being a writer myself, I can see she's trying to pump the books out. Unfortunately, that's the only way to make any revenue when one self-publishes. You have to write a lot and mass produce stories. The downside is that when you move too fast, you end up sacrificing the quality.

Don't waste your time
I want to say this book is amazing. And I truly thought it was. The second book is pretty fantastic, too. But then it ends on a cliffhanger, and four and a half years later, the third book still isn't out. C. M. seems to have completely abandoned the series. I check her website periodically, and it says it's in progress, or coming soon. I think it even said at one point that it was going to be released last year. She has written dozens of books since then, so she obviously has the time. She started and completed that piece of trash series, Havoc, but she won't work on this one? I think once this series is complete, it'll be worth it. Until then, it just makes me angry every time I think about how I got hooked and then let down. I'm especially angry that I bought both books instead of just reading them for free, because at the time it said there were only two, so I thought it was finished. I honestly don't know if I'm more upset that I wasted my time on Havoc, which I think is total garbage, or that I invested myself in this unfinished series.

She has written dozens of books since then, so she obviously has the time. She started and completed that piece of trash series, Havoc, but she won't work on this one? I think once this series is complete, it'll be worth it. Until then, it just makes me angry every time I think about how I got hooked and then let down. I'm especially angry that I bought both books instead of just reading them for free, because at the time it said there were only two, so I thought it was finished. I honestly don't know if I'm more upset that I wasted my time on Havoc, which I think is total garbage, or that I invested myself in this unfinished series.

Loved it!
I started of kind of weary but I am glad I stuck with it. The non-cursing annoyed me to no end but I somehow got over it and started to enjoy myself.
The world builds as you read... if you pay attention. It is a bit subtle but it is there.
The blurb is a spoiler for the next book as well as this one....
I don't know what happened there but whoever wrote it totally screwed up.
The story flowed nicely and I really liked the diversity in the characters personalities.
Brynn of Haversey is clumsy and curvy. I sort of love her.

So I finished the entire book, and well I am sort of surprised I guess. First off, at the start I did not understand a single thing, like maybe explain the world and magic in it a bit more please? I liked the MC, but she needs a lot more character development, which hopefully we'll see in the next books. And can we please get some clarification on who will be in the reverse harem, because I was confused honestly regarding this. The guys that I did think are in it, are nice, ofc need more character development but I see potential. I don't like the queen for some reason, idky. And Bryn's interest in Air is like a lot more than anyone, and in a RH, please umm no? It's like too much and everything revolves around him and him, which is kinda annoying. The book ends at a cliff-hanger, a weird one and I'm not sure if I'll be continuing the series.
