Saving Hope

A suspenseful yet sweet fast-paced story, a perfect recipe for a summer reading! It has some unique elements, I liked Rob and his personality he treated Hope like a queen throughout the story. Both characters are enjoyable to read and in addition, the plot evolves fast concluding interesting dialogues by the way I really liked the beginning of the story, it was very intense and passionate.

The mystery, the secrets, and some action will keep you reading 'till the end plus it has some really hot, steamy scenes! I certainly recommend it and I'm looking forward to reading the next story the author will create!

This was a sweet, suspenseful quick read that I really enjoyed. Lucy's writing keeps getting better and better.

Rob and Hope meet in the most unexpected of ways but, Rob quickly realizes he needs to keep her safe from people chasing her and Hope realizes that after all the hurt she's experienced she might of found her safe place for once in her life.

Wealthy Englishman, Rob🐺🍌🌋🔥, doesn't think much about tomorrow. He is such a busy business man, he lives mostly in the moment. He takes what he wants, which includes women, discarding them quickly because they are all after his 💰money.
Spending the 🌙night on a silly bet in a falling down Victorian hunting cottage without his car or phone, he is surprised when a fleeing woman comes out of the dark into his arms.
Suddenly he feels the need to protect her, Hope💋💔 has obviously been abused and tied up somewhere. Two men are hot on her trail but they miss Rob🐺 and Hope💋💔, hiding inside the house.
Rob🐺 makes it his mission to save her, to take care of her, although he knows absolutely nothing about her except her name and the fact they are both wildly attracted to each other. He🐺🍌🌋🔥 has sex🍌🌋 with her that night in the abandoned house, then again🍌🌋🔥 in the hangar before they board his private plane. Ok, Hope💋🔥 is fine with that, in fact she's craving🔥 him too.
He takes her to live with him in his mansion. He wants to provide for her, especially when he finds out she is pregnant and has no place to go.
This is all just too good to be true! Hope💋💔 is probably thinking she has won the stud man🐺🍌🌋🔥 lottery!
Rob🐺 is Tall, jacked💪, handsome, rich 💰, with a huge Johnson🍌! How could she go wrong!?
Mucho xxx scenes in this book, I told you Rob was a horndog 🐕🐺🍌🌋🔥✋!

~I read this book as and ARC for an honest opinion. I'd like to start by saying Lucy Wild is awesome! I always look forward to her books.~
Rob and his business partner Anthony have made several bets over the years. As being a billionaire can be a bit boring these bets made life a little more interesting. He was to stay in a haunted house for one night with no phone, a wool blanket, a lantern and only a book to keep him entertained. If he made it through the night he was the winner and would get a pound.
Rob settles in after Anthony drops him off. He has only a small amount of fear that is until he starts to her twigs snapping. Sounds of someone running and then yelling from two men come from the area around the house. As Rob is about to hide a young woman in a torn dress runs into the house. Its is pitch black as Rob has covered the lantern. He grabs her and holds her against him,mouth covered to silence her scream. A few seconds later the men coming tearing through the house calling out "Hope, Hope!" Some how Rob makes it sounds as though a stone has been thrown outside and the men leave. As Hope and Rob talk and acquaint themselves she realizes she can let her guard down and behind that guard is attraction. These two successfully spend the night and in the morning Rob makes a decision that will change both Hope's life and his.
I loved this story seriously. Great ending and Rob was an amazing Alpha. Their story was heart warming, sexy and had great action! 5 stars for Lucy Wild!

If you’re looking for a fast paced romance full of danger and a will they won’t they storyline then this book is for you. The only complaint I have is that this book wasn’t longer.
I liked Rob and Hope as a couple/potential couple. I wanted them both to get their happily ever after. I liked the danger in this story; it kept me on the edge of my seat in anticipation. I also liked the ‘’will they, wont they’’ aspect of the story. The wait to see if Rob and Hope would find one another when the danger was over. Whether they would get together.
I was slightly confused when Rob changed the name of his company to Hope and Faith Inc. Rob and Hope didn’t talk about her pregnancy. Rob didn’t let on that he knew she was pregnant yet he knew what she was calling the baby *confused face*. Even though Rob said that they had talked about what Hope would name future babies, I was still confused.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a gripping read.

Exciting and Gripping

Rob is an extremely wealthy love ‘em and leave ‘em kind of guy…whilst engaged in completing a challenge, set by his best friend, he encounters Hope, who is running for her life, and together they become embroiled in a deadly game of cat and mouse…..

This is a fast paced and emotional romantic thriller with well written and interesting characters..I loved the developing relationship between Hope and Rob….although I admit that I was initially a little unsure about their instantaneous mutual attraction, particularly considering the circumstances of their first meeting..…Rob is so loving and protective to the abused Hope that I can forgive him for a smidgeon of instalust….

A gripping and exciting read……I received a copy of this book as an ARC from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review...

Headline: I have voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC version of Saving Hope by Lucy Wild.
I have really been enjoying Lucy Wild's books. Each one has really made me smile and have. Few squeals and tears. This was another good one. I don’t know if I got so lost in the book (the good lost) or if this book went really fast. Hope and rob were wonderful. I would recommend this book and cannot wait to see what Lucy will have for us next. Happy reading!

I loved reading Saving Hope. By far my favorite book by Lucy. After finding out what happened to Hope I wanted to cry. The love that Rob has for her is remarkable. I just couldn't believe that after one night he wanted to save and protect her. But by the end of the story I was crying. I would recommend this story to my friends.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review.
Rob and Hope story was heartbreaking. Rob makes a bet with a friend to stay in a haunted house for the night for one pound. Rob never considered himself a relationship type of guy until the night that he saves hope from her abusive husband and father in-law and becomes determined to protect her and her unborn child.

Saving Hope was a great book. I wished there was more of a story with Hope's mother at the end. Instead of putting it has an epilogue. I also wanted to see more of Hope's father and husband with their frantic search of her. But overall it was an amazing book. Can't wait for fo the next one.

A story that will keep you on the edge off your seat. Will Rob be able to keep Hope safe. Where will they go to get away from the men hunting her down. So many questions that are answered but in the midst keeps you hanging on edge to find out what will happen. Another amazing book by Lucy.

This was a lovely well written story. I loved the chance to read about an Englishman, makes a change from all the Americans, as I am English. Great storyline loved the characters Rob and Hope. So glad it was an HEA. This is my honest review.

This was an interesting and engaging storyline and a book I enjoyed reading.

Rob has made a £1 bet with his partner Anthony; he has to spend one night in a haunted mansion out in the woods. As he is settling down for the night, he hears a commotion. Hope has run into the woods trying to escape her abusive father and husband and heads towards the mansion; not only does she have cuts and bruises all over her, but her clothes are torn. Rob distracts the two men chasing her and then keeps Hope safe during the night by comforting her and keeping her warm. Rob takes Hope to a doctor the next day who reveals she is pregnant. Rob is in love with Hope, but she is not willing to talk or open up to him in any way, leaving him no alternative but to hire a private investigator to check into her background. Unfortunately, this has far reaching and devastating consequences. When Hope’s father contacts Rob to set up a meeting, it turns out to be a trap; not only that Anthony has been hurt in the process and Rob’s secret hideaway has been discovered. Hope reflects how much danger Rob is in and makes an escape; she heads to a secluded village on a Scottish Island. There she is welcomed by everyone, as is her daughter Faith when she is born. Hope’s curiosity finally gets the better of her; she wonders how Rob is and is surprised to find out how much his life has changed since they have been apart. Writing Rob a letter, Hope doesn’t realise she has given him the means to find her. All this time Rob had been trying exhaustively to find Hope, without success, but now he has the lead he needs. Finally finding Hope, Rob has one more surprise in store for her and this time it is a much more pleasant one. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

Momma Says: To Read or Not to Read

This is a steamy book with a little bit of mystery.
Rob is a billionaire who 'loves them and leaves them', he has no time for women as most just want his money.
Hope is a woman on the run form two men who have hurt her and she literally stumbles into Rob's life.
Rob is struck by his almost immediate need to protect this woman and also posses this woman.
Hope is afraid initially but then finds herself attracted to Rob but also a bit weary that he wants to help and take care of her. No one has ever done that for her.
As Rob and Hope explore their very new relationship, Hope's past is still looking for her.
Rob is trying to use all his resources to find the men after Hope and make she is safe forever.
Hope does not want to continue to put Rob in harms way and decides to leave him.
I won't give away any more of the storyline as it would ruin the ending. I did like how their relationship played out, showing Hope to be a strong independent woman who wanted to keep safe those she loves. And the epilogue had a nice twist as well.

Saving Hope is a fast-paced, quick read - about two hours read time. As I've come to expect with this author, the pace of the story, combined with a bit of suspense kept me turning pages to see how things would play out. It is instalove, but that tends to be the norm in romances of this length and pacing, so it was expected.
Even considering the length of the book, the beginning of the story felt a bit rushed to me. In all honesty, I was having trouble connecting with the characters and wasn't sure if I was going to like this one. There were things about Rob and Hope's first night together that just didn't ring true for me. But, there was that element of suspense to keep things moving and I was interested enough to plunge ahead.
Once the mystery of who Hope is and why she's running started to really play out, my interest picked up. Like other books by Wild, I found myself engrossed in the story at that point and was able to connect with a story much better in the second half of Rob and Hope's tale. That second half of the book is what bumped this one from a three to a four-star read for me.
Overall, while this isn't my favorite book by Lucy Wild, it is worth the read.

Thrills, passion, and intrigue continue to keep you glued to the pages of this fascinating romantic suspense. The story will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happened next. Lucy Wild manages to weave a twisted plot with artfully developed main characters. This story was well done; it held my attention, but I also felt it was heartwarming and emotional. When reading the story, it may make you feel sad, confused, appalled, and even euphoric. I was enthralled with the characters of Hope and Rob. You get a chance to see the progression of their love—theirs was not a quick and easy love story because they had to overcome some issues. There are several twists and turns within the storyline with suspenseful thriller, sex—did I say SEX that is off the chart hot, and intrigue that makes it very interesting. The scenes are well written, fast-paced and flow smoothly from one scene to the next. This story will pique your interest and draw you in from the beginning to the very end.

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***Making a bet with his best friend that he could spend an entire night alone in a supposedly haunted house in the woods, Rob set out to do just that with no phone and no means of transportation. While lying on the floor in the house he heard a noise that wasn't coming from inside. He continued to listen and heard more noise. So, he covered his lamp and waited. Shortly thereafter he saw her running and falling as she ran into the house. He grabbed her, covering her mouth so she couldn't scream and pulled her into a small closet and held the door. Two men were chasing her and they didn't think she would be in the dilapidated house and continued to search outside, going away from the house. Turns out her name was Hope and she promised to tell Rob why these men were chasing her, but not now. This is a great read with, suspense, murder, and great love scenes. A job well done, Lucy. I loved it!

Billionaire dark romance to sweet, and romantic

What started as a dark romance, ended as a very sweet read. It’s fast paced, well written and engrossing. I liked the characters, the unusual plot, and steamy scenes. Ms. Wild brings us two unlikely people from diverse backgrounds who find a chance at love.

Saving Hope centers around a bored English billionaire Rob whose life is a series of “countless stupid bets” between he and his business partner. Rob’s protective instincts kick in when a young woman stumbles upon him at night in an old Victorian house. The bet at the time, is for Rob to wait out the night in a haunted house until morning, but it’s clear frantic and frightened Hope is in danger and needs help. From the get go, there’s hot steamy sex while he’s trying to get her warm. But for a short novella, it packs a punch. I love the resolution and the epilogue was a fantastic romantic ending.

It's a fast-paced romance with elements of a psychological thriller. There's quite a lot that happens over the course of this little book and I found that it was almost too quick for me to absorb everything that was going on. I thought Rob was a complete sweetheart for the way he treats Hope like the most precious thing in his universe. Hope was a little harder for me to connect to. She's been badly hurt in the past and keeps her emotions and reactions locked down.The emotionally charged way they first met explains their immediate connection, but I'm not totally sold on their instant true love. That part was too rushed for me to fully believe in their life-long commitment to one another. It was a wonderful diversion for a couple of hours.

Lucy Wild has done it again. Saving Hope is a story about Rob & Hope. Rob bets his friend for a pound that he can stay the night in a haunted house....while there he hears a noise outside...goes to check & he literally runs into Hope. He saves her from 2 men that are chasing her. The next morning they leave & Rob tells her that he is going to help her. As time goes on Rob & Hope are falling in love but are unsure of how the other feels...pick up your copy to read how they get there HEA! beautifully written....couldn't put it down. Great chemistry between characters...sweet romance that will melt your heart...oh let's not forget....hot sex too. I voluntarily reviewed an arc for my honest review.

Suspenseful, Erotic and Poignant!

Lucy Wild never disappoints and “Saving Hope” is another five-star thrill ride! Professionally written, with such endearing characters “Saving Hope” delivers mystery, suspense along with an intensely erotic romance. The action begins immediately engaging the reader while developing several twists and turns to keep you questioning until the very end. “Saving Hope” is a multifaceted novel transporting the reader into Lucy’s world of intrigue, uncertainty and the love of a lifetime.

I received an ARC for this book for an honest review, and it was a pleasure to read Lucy Wild's newest book. It was a little different from the others of hers I've read. Rob wasn't the same kind of alpha hero as others; he was like a sweet alpha. It's hard to explain, but I really loved him. I loved Hope, too, but boy, did she have her secrets.

The only thing that kept me from giving this book 5 stars was that the last third or so of the book went too fast. There was more telling than showing, and I would have really enjoyed more of Rob and Hope finding each other again. They'd been through a lot, and I wanted to see them work through it all--and enjoy their reunion. Maybe I just didn't want it to end, but I really wanted more in that last bit.

Now if I could only find my own Rob!

I really enjoyed reading this book. We have our lead female Hope. Poor Hope is running for her life away from some very bad men. Only she really does not know where she is running to.

Then we have Rob our male lead. Rob is a hot young billionaire who on the dare of his best friend agrees to spend the night in a deserted supposedly haunted house. Rob is just settling for the night when he hears commotion outside.

Hope runs right into Rob's arms and the chemistry builds from there. This book had an unexpected twist for me but we do get our HEA.

WOW, Lucy Wild does it again.
Rob has money to burn so he and Anthony makes bets for excitement for only a pound. This time Anthony bets Rob he can't stay all night in a haunted house. He has no phone and no car just a blanket and lantern. During the night Rob hears noise from outside, he goes to the door and fines hope. I like this story so much. You can have everything you want but there is always hope in your life and for Rob there was Hope and Faith. Lucy Wild is amazing at weaving together a story and I have loved everything I have read by her. This was a page turner. I voluntarily reviewed this advanced reader copy.
