Yanese, a beautiful and innocent girl who spends her days working as a Registered Nurse and catering to her husband's every need. She lives the typical (wife life) with out much excitement. The only thing that keeps her hip, is her best friend Dajah. Dajah is the ordinary round the way chick who tries to keep her friend on her ten toes; as she calls it. Yanese refuses to indulge in Dajah’s thugged out life style and would never dare to cross that path. Yanese hated everything about a thug, from the saggy pants to the music, until she meets Boss “Major” Banks.
Major is one of New York's Notorious kingpins who vows to never trust a bitch or fall in love. After laying eyes on Yanese Berkeley, she left him in a trance. I surely didn't see that ending wow. I can't believe that Sébastian n is wit Mercedes now n she is actually seeing him. That's just so crazy man wow. I guess when Major dropped the gun after Sébastian is when Yanese got shot. I hope that she is okay n the baby is too! I can't wait to read part 2! Great job mama! This was fire right here! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

How is Yanese testifying as Major’s girlfriend on his behalf while she’s the longtime wife of Sebastian, her cop husband, and nobody bats an eye in the courtroom. I just need it to make sense.
These books are like movies to me, so it’s still entertaining.
I also don’t understand how or why Major fell for Yanese so fast. She didn’t do anything special. She was actually very snobby at first and acted like she was above people like him. Then boom, they’re having a fling and in love.
Then Yanese goes missing on Major, and I don’t get her logic. Sebastian attacked her, and instead of telling Major, she thought it was better to stay away from him. Like ma’am, you’re already deep in it with Major.
Stuff just be happening and I’m sitting here like huh, why.
And Mercedes going out of her way to find Sebastian… just more confusion.

Loved it
This book was so good. This is my first time reading this authors work. But I'm definitely checking out other books. Boss was definitely Bae. He open Yanese right on up. Sebastian made me sick he cheated on Yanses basically their whole marriage and had a baby on her. But couldn't handle it when the samething was happening to him. I hope Yanese and the baby are ok. Can't wait for part two

That was dope! Really good. While I don't condone the cheating, I liked the transformation Yanese was going through. She was too young to act so old lol. But are they OFFICIALLY separated? And I guess Sebastian said if he couldn't get him one way he'd get him another. I definitely saw that "relationship" coming with Mercedes. I am very curious to find out who got shot though, so on to part 2.....

Yassssss to Major! I is exactly what Yanese needed in her life, Sebastian has no room to be mad bc he brought this on himself. Mercedes is trifling and sad she running her mouth just bc Major doesn't want her smh. I like Dajah she is a real friend no matter what she was always there for Yanese.

Great read
Ms. Barbie Scott you aint right for how you ended this book! This was my first time reading a book by her and she came through! Yanese and Major were made for each other. They both brought out the best in each other. Yannie softened him and Major made her hard. I knew Sebastian was a creep frim the beginning and Cedes needs to get her life ans move around/on.

Good girl gone bad.
Yasssss!! This is my first time reading a book from this author and I loved her writing. Her pen game is on point. I knew Sebastian was creeping, Yannie took too long to pick up the signs. I glad she gave Major a chance tho. She need that good D. Lol. Mercedes is a snake messing with Sebastian. I hope Majesty and Jennie is okay. Part 2 here I come

This book was great! I loved how yannie was educated and held a job. Her husband was the ultimate slime ball!! Omg and major um um um I could envision his sexiness straight off of the pages. The way it ends will have you on the edge of your seat waiting for part 2.

Good read from beginning to end but as always that ending got me. Sebastian is getting on my nerves and needs to be got. Loved the relationship between Yanese and Major if and when they ever get to settle down and enjoy each other. Good read Barbie Amor.
