Interesting and educational.

The story was fun and provided good science facts. The introduction to the scientific method was good and perfect timing for my fifth grader. He is learning the scientific method in school now. This gave reinforcements for what he learned at school.

This book is about Angela Moretti, the new kid with no mother 😢 in this charmingly mysterious neighborhood. On the first day of school two incidents happen: 1. She agrees to Howies second best friend contract 2.she is humiliated at the “quad” in front of everyone by a toilet paper bomb! She takes this really seriously. Now when I mean seriously I mean it, not the type that she goes crying home but by the type that she started a detective agency Howie and Norah (his best friend) called the science inspectors. Then comes the case of the old hot rod. By lifting fingerprints they find out it is the same as the toilet paper thief. They find out it was Jamie McDermott as a toilet paper thief but not the old hot rod criminal. Jamaican join there team and by taking a different path they find out it was Mr. Bannisters son.
