The book had multiple audience, it did seem like it wasn’t well thought through, in terms of what it wanted to achieve.

The book has some inspiring and interesting anecdotes form the author, where he cites examples of various products/startups that hit the ground running by taking advantage of makers spaces, from idea to prototype to market in a lean fashion, in terms cost and speed of execution. This trend is giving rise fresher opportunities and possibilities for entrepreneurial spirited individuals, that were not possible earlier.

The book tries to do too many things at once, I.e appeal to public policy experts, politicians, individuals, executives, industry, teachers, parents etc, which I think dilutes the message for those who are just trying to understand the maker space trend.

A quick short read, won’t regret reading, but neither will you be glad you read it.
