I really enjoyed Gemma and Talon together, I felt that they did belong together regardless of what Gemma's brother thought. The storyline was very well written that I was drawn in from the very beginning and the well developed characters kept me totally engaged until the turn of the very last page!

Apparently I’m on a stretch of meh with my reads lately....

This one just never really connected for me. I didn't feel the chemistry between the H/h; there was a lot of miscommunication angst; some kind of turf war was going on with another MC but not a lot of background was given about it (probably more in the first book in the series, but for the reader to be invested in the "who's the 'good' MC/who's the 'bad' MC," there has to be more reason given; the H/h behaviors were inconsistent and even immature at times; and even the steamy scenes really didn't do much for me. I was hoping this would cleanse the palate for me after reading a particularly bad MC romance, but maybe MC romances just aren't for me if this is an example of one of the better ones? Meh.

Talon had changed a lot since joining the Road Rebels MC.
Now he's the road captain.
He was responsible for the plan to put the DEA chasing the Devil Saints. He had an informant in there, none other than Calista, the wife of the Devil's Prez.
She was much older than him, but still a beautiful woman. Of course, in the arrangement, the exchange of information had a lot of sex.

But Talon was not naive in getting involved with Calista.
Only one woman lived in his dreams. And this woman was about to return to his life.

Gemma lived both sides of life.
At first her family was perfect. When her father suffered a serious accident, the treatment would be long, the pains were strong. He took refuge in the drink to take it all.
Her brother, Jace, began to take care of her father so that Gemma had the chance to continue her studies. Her mother could not stand the pressure and left her husband. He started to drink even more until he died. The ex-wife, consumed with guilt, also used the drink as an escape and died.
Gemma's family was now just her and Jace.

Jace overprotects Gemma.
In the years that she spent far, in College, she took the opportunity to get to know more about life. Especially about sex.
And meanwhile, Jace was no longer a prospect in Rebels and became the treasurer of the Club. Called himself Snake.
When Gemma returns, she was determined to have something more with Talon, even if it turned out to have to face her brother's wrath.

But as Talon and Gemma knew each other better, the Devils decide it was more than time for a new confrontation. And now, Talon had a lot more to lose if a new war broke out.

In order to keep the "family" safe, Mac, Rebel's Prez, decided that everyone should move to the lodge.
No cliffhanger about the main couple, but the tension in the MC was just beginning ...

Talon by Savannah Rylan a sublime five-star read. This is the second book in the Road Rebels MC series, they could be read as stand-alone but I loved the first book and this one so would suggest of your in the mood for some great MC passion then you would be best buying the both. Talon and Gemma have a great romance, there was a passion to the pair of them that moved you. Would you choose love or family? I know which I would after reading this. Thank you Savanah Rylan for a great read.

Brother don't know best

It seems in this installment time does nothing to stop the feelings of a once teenage love and big brother has to back off

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. The characters were pretty good. I thought one of the MC from a rival MC club was really crazy man he end up shooting his own wife. They found her daughter though. Anyway I'm getting ahead of myself Talon was part of the MC . He was a computer geek. He had a crush on Snake's sister Gemma. She also had a crush on him as well. Of course you know Snake didn't want that to happen. But it ended up happening anyway so Snake and Talon got into a little brawl, but Gemma put her foot down and let him knew she was a grown a## woman. There was a lot more that happened in this book. This was a really great read. It was a lot of romance going on as well. I think the author did a great job. Now onto the next book. I recommend this book to all romance readers everywhere.

This is the second book in the The Road Rebels MC is a standaone, but I read book one and would recommend reading it first, if you can. Talon had been a member of the Road Rebels since birth and they became his only family since his mother's death. There was an unwritten rule that the sisters of the members were off limits. Snake's sister Gemma had always been on Talon's mind, but he had continued to resist her for years. After she returned from college they both succumb to their growing attraction. Lots of suspense, danger and drama as conflict builds with another MC. A great read with wonderful complex characters and a page turning storyline. Savannah Rylan is one of the best at writing this genre. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Gemma is supposed to be off limits to Talon but he is not willing to accept that club rule. He has waited for her and now that she is back, he is going to claim her.

I really love MC romances and this author regularly delivers great storylines and characters. The chemistry between them was great and there was lots of action too that kept the story exciting. I really like that the author takes the time to develop the characters and it really makes for a great reading experience. Talon is a great guy and really protective of those he loves. He really only has the club as his family but he is willing to risk it all to have the woman he wants.

Very well written short story with great storyline and plot. I like that the characters are relatable and likeable. I like the main characters and how they develop. I like the pace of the story.
Off limits because she is your friends little sister. Amazing chemistry and hotness flows of the pages. Captivating read.

It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The epilogue is very welcomed and gives the story more to it and it finishes it better of than without it. I like the supporting characters very much. Material for a new book here?

There are friend issues, passion, drama, emotions, hot scenes and lots of chemistry in this amazing story.

The pair would like to explore a relationship, but there are a few obstacles in the way...one being 'the brother', Snake, and the other being rival club, Devils Saints, who are still stirring up trouble for the Road Rebels. Will Talon and Gemma's relationship survive the wrath of Snake? How will the Road Rebels handle the growing trouble with the Devils Saints? This is a series, so even if we have an HEA for individual members, there is ongoing trouble with the Devils Saints and, as such, is more enjoyable if you read all of the books in order.

Book focuses on Talon, the road captain for The Road Rebels MC and Gemma, the sister of Snake another member of the club. Talon and Gemma have been attracted to each other for years and when she returns from college they can't resist any longer. However, her brother doesn't approve and they have big problems with another MC club. Can they get a HEA or is their relationship doomed from the start? Grab a copy of this book to find out. I love MC romances and “Talon” is one of the best I've read. Talon is road captain for the Road Rebels MC. Gemma who was raised in the MC is back from 4 years of college. Talon and Gemma have been attracted to each other for years and now they decide to take their relationship a step further. Between the relentless disapproval of Savannah's brother, Snake and the war with a rival MC this story provides lots of suspense, danger, action, hot sex and romance. This is the first book I've read by Savannah Rylan and I certainly intend on reading more. “Talon” is a fantastic story and I highly recommend purchasing the book.

This is a great MC story about Talon and his Road Rebels and Snakes sister, Gemma. Talan is a man with a tortured past and lost his mother to a battle between a rival MC. During his teenage years he meets Gemma and they have a crush on one another. Gemma goes off to college and Talon can not stop thinking of her and once she returns their crush makes a quick turn into more! I did not care for the way Talon treats Calista. Will their relationship stand the test of the two clubs and their members? This story is full of surprises along with some hot sex screens, passion and family values. Talon life has been all about the MC since his mother died. Gemma is Snakes little sister and because of that is off limits to Talon. Rules have never really stopped him before. After Gemma comes back from college the chemistry they have shared comes back hotter than ever. Another MC is causing problems and Snake isn’t to happy about their relationship. Will they be able to survive together? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, an entertaining storyline and plenty of steam. A good read.

I’ll start by saying I haven’t read the first book I the series and I don’t feel like I was missing a significant amount of information reading this book. I will go back and read the first book and the rest of the series as they are released as I throughly enjoyed this book. The writing is fabulous. The characters are witty and very flushed out. They have chemistry. Talon and Gemma were written in the stars. Savannah Rylan is the best of the best in MC. I’d highly recommend. Snuggle in and enjoy.

Savannah Rylan has earned her place along side some of the great MC authors and Talon is great example of that skill. Talon and Gemma are interesting, well written, slightly beat up characters who have palatable chemistry they are not willing to ignore. Even if it means angering Gemma's brother and Talon's MC brother, Snake. The backstories for each of these characters as children explained so much about the adults they've become. I can't wait to read more about the Road Rebels MC.

This is the second book in The Road Rebels MC Series, all standalones, and yet again does Savannah Rylan nail the MC romance genre. If you enjoyed Hawk, the first book in the Series, then you'll love this one. I most certainly did.

This is an intriguing and entertaining read filled with perfectly complex and intens characters.

When Gemma returns home after four years away, Hawk is determined that she's everything he needs. But not everyone is happy with their reunion.

I voluntarily read an arc of this book for a fair and honest review. Talon was born into the Road Rebels MC. After losing his mom, the club members were his family. They were brothers and sister, which is why when Talon began having feelings for his brother Snake’s sister, he let it simmer for years. But now Gemma is back, all grown up and Talon just hopes she’s ready for him. I als9 enjoyed the back stories and look for more about this club from this author

Talon finally gets his girl Gemma, when she returns home from college. They were just friends before but have crushed on each other for years.
This is a fast paced story filled with action and drama. Well-written, likable developed characters.

Overall a great read, love these MC books.

I have to say, that it’s the quiet ones that can really turn a girl out...
You have to read this one. But start with book 1 and then you’ll get it...

I originally received this as an advanced copy, but when I got it I had to use my KU account and its well worth the time and money...

Good read

Talon and Gamma had known each other almost since birth. They had loved each other almost as long. Gamma went to college and Talon stayed with his bike club . When she came home she went to stay with her brother Snake. Snake didn't appreciate the fact that Talon wanted his sister. Talon and Gemma loved each other enough to oppose Snake.

I like this author a lot, and I enjoy her books. But, I can't stand outside of the relationship sex or characters thinking back on it in detail. It's gross. And, the way Snake is being portrayed as a manwhore gives me very low hopes of liking his book, if he gets one.
