Loved it! So many sexy, steamy alien reads! I was up way to late last night reading but I couldn’t put it down. Fated Possession and Strangeways were two of my favorites but I did add a lot of new authors to my TBR list. Great characters with steamy chemistry and stories that really draw you in, definitely out of this world!

This anthology is in a word: fabulous. Each story a peek into what you can expect from the authors in their other books. Many are already my favorites but several are destined to join the one click ranks. Enjoy this amazing collection. I know I did.
Dravvon’s Submissive by Megan Michaels was one such story by one of my favorite authors. Great story, showcasing a strong alpha male and a female who didn’t know the meaning of the word, which just might make sitting comfortably an issue in her immediate future. Great character development in a short story with a robust storyline that left me hoping to see more of certain sub characters.
A Ghost in the Stars by Sophie Kisker is another story sure to make you want to read more by this author. A mix of alpha male, eroticism, a female trained to be submissive, and other worldliness that grabbed my imagination from the very first page. While not as dark as I’ve come to expect by this author, she weaves a mesmerizing storyline that makes you feel part of the squirm-inducing action - turn up the AC!
The Enforcer by Ashe Barker gives you a quick taste of the type of writing I have come to expect from this author. An exciting, fun romp between two strong characters where only one gets to be in ultimate control, but getting to that agreement can be oh so Arousing. Fantastic read.
Finding Sitra by Jane Henry is short in length but long in depth of emotion and connection between the main characters in spite of the circumstances under which they reunite. The author makes you feel the tension, the pain, and mostly heat.
Draekon Rescue by Lee Savino and Lili Zander is part of a fantastic series. I enjoyed this brief visit to this world albeit from a different perspective, that has me looking forward to how it will meld with the full storyline. Oh the possibilities! Hot and captivating as always from a long standing fan of these authors.
Their Zandian Mate by Renee Rose gave me my Zandian fix. Love this series and enjoyed a brief peek into the continuing saga. As always, Renée manages to capture our hearts and make us feel the emotional and spanking goodness. Only time will tell whether this unconventional trio will be able to win Eslyn‘s heart, but it will be fun watching them try.
Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood is another gem. With this author, you know to expect an edgy story with more than a hint of kink. And while this is not as dark as many of her other books, it hits all the right buttons and gives us more insight into the world that is Aerthe. The men are kinky, the women are strong, and their survival depends on their connection.
Claiming His Virgin by Grace Goodwin is part of another captivating series of which I have been a fan of the series from the first book. This short has it all – romance, heat, tension, angst, and a few smiles, keeping you on edge to the very end. As always, the author draws you into the relationship between the main characters, making them believable and relatable even when they are aliens and make you yearn for a mate of your own.
Vanquished Mate by Ava Sinclair hits all the right buttons. I love how the author was able to create a world in such a short time that was realistic, to the point I could actually imagine being there. The heat came off the pages where I felt the discipline and the eroticism. Drown yourself in the goodness..
Get ready for many hours of reading pleasure.

This collection of hot Alphas and their respective mates is far too extensive to give a satisfactory opinion to every one. While they are all of the higest quality, I'll have to grudgingly restrict myself to my own personal favorites.

A courtship only possible on dangerous Aerthe.
Claiming his Virgin, by Grace Goodwin
Another interstellar bride is sent by warden Egara, to be claimed by her warrior. While the bride is willing, the groom is very reluctant to show his true self.

Two dragons and their gamer-mate can only grow into their full potential if and when they are mated.
Strangeways, by Addison Caine
The first few pages of this story read a bit tongue-in-cheek . But very slowly you come to realize that earth has been invaded. The mild mannered conquerors are insidously exploiting the population as a benevolent dictator would.
This is creepy non-terror-terror of the highest order.

One lone transport and salvage contractor, finds a surprise cargo in a wrecked space ship. Illegally rescuing one unconscious earth woman from being sold back into slavery, he gets himself into all kinds of trouble. Especially with his dead brother!

I read the book Strangeways by Addison Cain. Not the best book by her but it was ok.

Strangeways by Addison Cain- This was unlike any of the other books I've ever read by her...completely different! In fact, it was pretty different from other PNR books I've read. That's not a bad thing though, she wrote a very interesting alien...with some VERY interesting "appendages". The one thing that was similar to her other books though, was that even after finishing the book, I'm left wondering if Phi was really a good guy or a bad guy. I'm so conflicted about liking him! Addison writes some of the best anti-heroes I've ever read!
Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood- I really enjoyed this story! It revolved around Sassik, who we first met in Claimed Possession, and Blue. Blue is the human slave who escaped the Mekkers, and promptly found herself in a situation potentially worse than what she just escaped. Sassik, of course, came to her rescue, but much to her frustration, he didn't free her, just proclaimed her to be his now. Sassik has to be the most likable Scav ever! Yes, he's very dominating and controlling, but he also has his own set of morals, and he's sexy and almost sweet in a way. You'll have to read the story to understand what I mean!
Their Zandian Mate by Renee Rose - I loved this episode of the Zandian series. This one is about Eslyn and her 3 young, zandians that were discovered on their home planet. Nobody realized there was another female, much less children, but she was discovered with 3 males, all of them left behind as children after the war. The males aren't very good examples of zandians though and are put in the dungeon, while Eslyn is given to 3 "brother" warriors for reconditioning. The question is if Eslyn can finally get a HEA of her own or not. The only problem I had with this story is that I really wanted it to be a full length novel!!

Finding an anthology where you want to read some of the authors is great. Finding one where you want to read all 23 authors in it is even better. That's what I found in Alien Alphas. I'm just going to touch on some of the stories because there just isn't enough room for me to talk about all 23.
Strangeways by Addison Cain 5*
Wow. That's about all I can say about this one. I really hope that some more books come out of this particular universe because I really liked it a lot.
OMG. The sex in this story? Completely out of the galaxy. I mean, yeah. I loved the descriptions of Phi's... equipment. Sounds mostly pretty hot. Great story.
You may think that you may not have an interest in tentacles, but really, this story will change your mind and make a believer out of you.
Finding Sitra by Jane Henry 4.5*
This is an interesting story with all kinds of layers in it. The title can be taken in so many different ways, which is totally awesome. I really loved that.
Cy and Sitra take a circuitous route to getting to their HEA. They had known each other for a long time, but then there was a year when they were wrapped up in their own pain and on issues and then they have to figure everything out.
I liked this story pretty well, especially the wordplay with the title. Clever wordplay is always highly appreciated.

Aubrie and Edogan's story is great. He rescues her from being sold as a slave. As the commander of the forces which destroyed her forces, not without losses of his own, he's well within his rights to take her as a slave and to punish her.
I like the fact that Edogan takes the time to learn about Aubrie and to help her figure things out. Aubrie is a strong character in herself, and Edogan lets her be that strong character. Good story.
Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood 5*
This story takes place in the same world as Cari's Machinery of Desire stories. It can be read without being familiar with the stories, but it's nicer to have the extra background of it.
Blue is a human dragged to another world for her blood. Sassik is a man who wants to find out what his destiny is. Neither one of them is what the other expects, but somehow they end up together and all is good.
I love all these books, so getting another little look into this world and another viewpoint on what's going on is excellent. I really liked Blue and Sassik's story.
Drakeon Rescue by Lee Savino and Lili Zander 4*
I love the Draekon universe. This book takes place in the same universe, at the same time as the other books, but isn't really connected with them in any other way.
Tin has been held by evil scientists and tested by them to try to find his mate. To that end result, they have abducted Dor from Earth and are going to test her. Cro is Tin's best friend and refuses to leave him as a captive.
I love these guys and them chemistry that flows between the 3 of them, and how protective they all are about each other. It's nice to have a different perspective as to what's going on in that 'verse.
Under Contract by Jaye Peaches 4.5*
We all know that keeping a contract, any contract, is really important. In Jaye Peaches' story, keeping a contract is everything. Breaking a contract totally ruins you, and no one will do any kind of business with you.
Brax is an extraction specialist. He signs contracts to go out and extract women from bad situations. Kleo is his newest job. He's supposed to go get her for her guardian.
Brax is intense. I like that a lot. He knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to get it. Kleo fights hard, first against herself and then for what she wants. I think they are a great pair with extremely extreme chemistry. Very hot, very lovely.
Her Zandian Masters by Renee Rose. 5*
I love Renee's big purple horned aliens. I mean, seriously, with that description, what's not to love?
Eslyn is one of the few Zandian women left in the entire universe. Her former "mates" forced her to do something horrible, and when she was brought before the prince, he sentenced her to rehabilitation. Granit, Laake, and Damon are the three guards who have been watching her, and now it's their job to teach her how to be a good Zandian.
Generally, Renee doesn't write menage in this series, because it turns out big purple horned aliens also tend to be somewhat possessive. However, it really works in this case, and it is hot af. The guys are awesome and caring, and they go out of their way to show Eslyn how much she matters. Totally awesome.
The Ghost in the Stars by Sophie Kisker 4.5*
This universe is going to be so good, I can just tell.

Wow. That's about all I can say about this one. I really hope that some more books come out of this particular universe because I really liked it a lot.
OMG. The sex in this story? Completely out of the galaxy. I mean, yeah. I loved the descriptions of Phi's... equipment. Sounds mostly pretty hot. Great story.
You may think that you may not have an interest in tentacles, but really, this story will change your mind and make a believer out of you.
Finding Sitra by Jane Henry 4.5*
This is an interesting story with all kinds of layers in it. The title can be taken in so many different ways, which is totally awesome. I really loved that.
Cy and Sitra take a circuitous route to getting to their HEA. They had known each other for a long time, but then there was a year when they were wrapped up in their own pain and on issues and then they have to figure everything out.
I liked this story pretty well, especially the wordplay with the title. Clever wordplay is always highly appreciated.
Sold to the Enemies by Sara Fields 4*
Sara Fields brings us into a whole new scifi world for her offering.

23 story anthology by authors who pen in the SciFi/erotic romance genre, the common theme being alpha male main characters and erotica. The stories differ from sweet to dark (consistent on each individual author's forte) often including spanking scenes and graphic erotica.
For the purchase price, this book is worth every penny, even if a reader buys it only because of an individual story penned by a specific author. Additionally, it provides a feel for new to you authors to check out in future if the writing style appeals to the reader. The only thing I feel is important to note is not to expect complex story lines or depth in world building situations. Individual stories focus on the main characters meeting up quickly evolving to the graphic erotica scenes.
My issues were that for the authors I'm not familiar with I struggled with world building/character development (even though stories were billed as standalones) which wasn't possible due to the short story format contained in this anthology. Not a major flaw as for the most part the stories followed plot driven story lines that support the erotica content. My other problem was that after the first dozen stories I was over-saturated with erotica content desperately searching for some meaningful content or change of pace to things. Didn't happen.
This is the sort of read for erotic romance/erotica SciFi fans who want appetizer quality stories penned by 23 popular SciFi authors. I have my individual fav authors which I feel was so worth grabbing this book for alone. I'm on the fence if the downside is that the 23 erotica heavy stories were a bit much for a single reader (me) to appreciate as a whole.

I usually eat books in a day or two. It took me a while to get as far as I got with this book (whoa, a YEAR!). I did not count how many stories I went through, but this is a DNF @ 39% for me.
I really wanted to like this book. After all, I love anything alien-themed. If it has some male eye candy in it - I'm all for it! If someone gets tied up or spanked as a result of a consensual kink -- I'm all eyes and ears and other body parts for this. But THIS was just the worst. I picked up each new story with the hope that something, SOMETHING -- ANYTHING, would change in the layout. But nope. Every time we get a situation where the woman can't bail out of the arrangement, sometimes falling as far as into REAL slavery. Slavery is not sexy. Punishment in such arrangement is not sexy. This is not BDSM. This is abuse, both physical and mental, which gets glorified as "this is what she came to enjoy in the end". It's not even about heroines being spineless and the males in the stories being total jerks -- though that's another problem here. These are not HEA or even HFN endings -- realistically, they can't exist in such arrangements. The abused person starts to see the abuse as the new normal and this is not sexy. This is still abuse.
Also, women don't think with their genitals. I have yet to meet one that does.

4.5 stars - I've been kindly gifted 3 stories from the book to review but had already got this book on pre-order based on the amazing line-up of authors involved and the FANTASTICALLY cheap pre-order price.

This is a quick but engaging, hot and fantastic story from the Machinery of Desire series. Whilst it can be read as a standalone, and indeed Cari managed to briefly fill in the important details of this world, having read the other books will really enhance this story. (Book 1 world builds and Book 2 has Sassik as a side character).
I know it's a short story but there was no way I was putting this down and going to sleep - it had me gripped. Blue was such a strong heroine, never giving up or giving in and I'd love to see more of her. Sassik was as honourable a man as you are going to find on Aerthe and I'd love a Sassik of my own. The characters spoke to me, drew me in and made me love this story.

Well what do I say? As this is an anthology the stories are all fairly short, which limits what can be done in the space available. I definitely enjoyed this (I think) and it certainly left me wanting more, and also with a few questions (though not in a bad way).
This is most definitely NOT your typical alpha alien romance, where the heroine is dragged off to some alien planet/ship and spanked regularly. In fact it was a more than a little sinister and slightly eerie, leaving me with that 'Matrix' feeling of what is truth and what is make believe?
I loved Emily, she had good mental strength, though did she choose freedom or captivity? Hmmm. We see everything 'through' her eyes so I struggled with Phi. I still wasn't sure I trusted and totally believed him by the end of the story - though it wouldn't surprise me if that wasn't Jennifer's intention all along.
So why should you read the book? Well it was thought provoking, it was steamy AND had tentacular sex (I don't care if I made the word up, I like it!). If we take everything Phi says at face value and as truth it was very romantic. However, if we question the 'mind games', then it was definitely NOT a romance. There was excellent character and world building, the plot has a few unexpected twists (as does Phi's 'penis' LOL) and I definitely want more of Emily, Phi and this 'world'.

I've only read the previous book in this series (His Zandian Pet) but that did help give some background to this story, and indeed the ending of that book sets up this tale. This can be read as a standalone, and is one very hot, steamy and fast paced read. Despite it being short, I did feel I got to know the characters quite well and I definitely liked them all. The story drew me right in and held my attention throughout. The only 'bad' thing was that it was so short. I would love this to eventually be worked into a longer story, seeing the 4 characters before they met and getting to know them when they were younger.
Eslyn (the heroine) has appeared in a previous zandian book. I haven't read it but managed to pick up her backstory easily in this one. She has been the captive mate of 3 rough and uncaring Zandian males. All 4 are currently prisoners of the Zandian ruler, accused of attempted kidnap of another Zandian female. As part of her rehabilitation, Eslyn is 'given' to 3 Zandian males. Their job is to punish her and make her fit to rejoin society. If you know Renee Rose you know this 'punishment' will not only be enjoyable but will steam up your e-reader!
The guards are 3 very close friends, they are Laake, who is quite young and naive, Granit, who is badly scarred but who Eslyn finds calming and attractive and also Damon, the leader of the three and a real alpha male. They blend together perfectly and soon decide they would like to keep Eslyn. But that choice isn't theirs, and if Eslyn's 3 imprisoned 'mates' are released she might not have a choice either.

There is a very eerie feeling in this story. While reading I kept thinking about The Twilight Zone. This story would be so perfect for it.

What I loved about this story is that it is not just a physical journey, but also one of the heart and soul. And what you truly desire
Lee Savino - Drakon Rescue
This story takes place in the Draekon world created by Lee Savino and Lili Zander, but you won’t miss out on anything if you are not familiar with those books.
It is wonderful sexy story with a lot of action, sexy draekon and a female character a lot of us can relate to. The worst day ever turns out pretty good in the end. Loved the fact that Dot totally kicked ass.
Maren Smith - her Consort
There is a fine line between love and hate or in this case annoying each other. This is a short, very funny and sexy story. I loved the banter between the characters and how Kogan decides that Piper is his Consort and that is final.
Kallista Dane - Her Savage Mate
A wonderful very funny, highly entertaining and sexy story. There are free living monkeys, a stern, but very yummy alien, tails and a feisty, plant loving female.
And I loved the last sentence so much.
Jane Henry - Finding Sitra
Jane Henry created a whole new new world for this book and i loved the description of the Sargotha male and how emotions shown in heat. They interaction between Cy and Sitra is very entertaining, it is emotional, but also very funny. It is a action packed story.
Renee Rose - Their Zandian Mate
This story takes place in the Zandian series. If you are familiar with the books you will have already met the characters. This story is panty melting hot. But I also loved the characters all connected. Eslyn had a different relationship with each of the males and it was wonderful how protected they were of Eslyn and your children
Megan Michaels- Dravven’s Submissive
I adored this story. I loved how the author portrayed and expressed Sable’s submission and her struggles to accept it. How hard it was to volunteer her submission. There was a great chemistry between Dravven and Sable and the story left me wanting for more.
Sophie Kisker - The Ghost in the Stars
What is better than a hot Alien? An Alien and a ghost. It is a wonderful story of two people who have lost so much, but together they are able to heal and move forward together. It is also very funny, original and sexy.

The book I read from this collection was Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood. It was a nice return to tje world of Aerthe that I'm already familiar with. Blue is running for her life but is unlucky and ends up in the hands of bad men but luckily she's saved by a man who doesn't want to hurt her but instead sell her. They set off together and feelings slowly start to grow between them. Can Blue trust someone from this dangerous new world?

Cari was so generous to give me her story in Alien Alphas,a Machinery Of Desire novella. The one that i was waiting for. Sassik’s story. Because,after getting to know him in Claimed Possession,i really wanted to know his story. And boy,it was worth the wait! He finds Blue,a sweet girl in trouble that just wants to go home,back to earth. But,being stuck on Aerthe,he can’t let her run free. It’ll get her into more trouble,so he’ll keep her......for now. If the rest of this boxset is anything close to Cari’s story,i am in for one hell of a treat. Because this was a real gem and i loved it!
And after recovering from the fact that Cari gave me the ARC for the WHOLE boxset later,i took a deep breath and dove right in. And boy,was it worth it! From Addison Cain to Sara Fields and Emily Tilton. The stories from Ashe Barker,Renee Rose,Grace Goodwin,Sophie Kisker,Ava Sinclair,Sue Lyndon....I can’t pick one that i didn’t like. From faraway planets,to aliens living on earth,each and every story has it’s own beauty! It’s yummie aliens. Firm men. Sweet,but always strong girls. Waiting to be conquered by the right alien.....I loved them all!

Aerthe is definitely not a planet you want to be as a human, but holy hotness does it create some strong, dominant, capable males.
So if you’re gonna find yourself stuck on a planet which enslaves humans like Blue has, crossed fingers you get an owner like Sassik (or Mako from book one. Or Sawyer from book two.)
The dub-con turned consensual is so well done and leaves me super squirmy. This author is one of my absolute faves for kink and D/s and M/s dynamics. And this series especially is on point.
So read this short little story which may easily be read as a standalone, and then go read the rest of this amazing series!

First off Anthology’s are a great way to discover 22 not all new to me authors. But, mostly new to me authors. I just need to separate some time out to finish this book. I am going to review 2 books at this time.
Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood
Cari is the type of author that loves pushing through boundaries and I love that about her. And, what a way to do it in Fated Possession. It doesn’t really have a love story ending. But, does end in a manner that there is another book to come after this one. No terrible cliffhanger either though. Just not a closure to this book.
Fated Possession is part of her The Machinery of Desire Series. Acquired Possession and Claimed Possession are the first 2 books. That would give you some history to the happenings. But, this Novella can easily be read as a standalone.
Blue and Sassik are the stars in Fated Possession. There is a lot going on in this novella. I felt a need to read it in one go and that is easily doable.
I give Fated Possession 4 stars and look forward to reading more in this series and of Cari Silverwoods books. They are always entertaining.
Claiming His Virgin Interstellar Brides: The Virgins Book 0.5 by Grace Goodwin.
Helen meets her mate in a dream shared by her marked mate.
He was a survivor – he was scarred – He wouldn’t give his name because then she would know who he is.
He meets his marked mate Helen. And, she has a blindfold on. He thinks he can continue taking her this way because he doesn’t want to scare her away. Helen has something else in mind and wants to know who is her mate.
I really enjoyed this fast read. A couple of hours at the most. I love fitting in these quick & entertaining novellas. I give Claiming His Virgin 4 stars. I look forward to reading more books by Grace Goodwin.

Alien Alphas was a great 5 star read.
You get a great collection of stories from several different authors. I read some new authors and some I’m familiar with. You get all sorts of different stories, some with hot sex scenes that will melt your kindle.
Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood was my favorite in the collection.
Blue is in the world of Aerthe, brought down by the Mekkers and just when she thinks she has escaped she finds herself in the possession of a man who has plans for her. Sassik bought Blue and feels like he will get good money for a human once he finds a new owner for her.
He had gorgeous eyes, for a man of despicable morals.
When feelings start to develop will Sassik be able to let Blue go?
Cari does a great job of pulling you right into her world. I really liked Sassik and Blue they were both strong characters and I really enjoyed their story.
If your looking for some great short stories that you can read as you have time, this is the book for you. If you're easily offended by certain scenes than this may not be your book, if you like them then 1-click and get started today.

With a mix of steampunk and sci-fi Cari Silverwood pens, a unique short story for some will be a new world with just a tad bit of dark. I'd even say love in their own special way.
A human slave escapes the clutches of her captors only to fall into the hands of another captor. Is like jumping from the fire into the frying pan? Not so much though Sassik was a man on a different mission one that didn't include owning or taking care of a slave. Or so he had to tell himself repeatedly. He was sure what he was going to do up until the little blue-haired slave popped into his life.
Rebellious little slave, she is always doing something opposite of what she's told but even she is a contradiction, saying one thing, feeling something else. so sit on down enjoy the world that Cari has created true to her style a bit of spanking, collars and a few other toys.

I loved Blue. She was amazing. I loved how fast and well she took to being submissive. That may have something to do with it being a shorter story, but sometimes it's nice for the character not to all-out-fight what they subconsciously like.
Sassik was very strong male character and his care for Blue, or others in general, showed from the very beginning. I know Cari's series is supposed to be a darker read, but this novella didn't feel too dark to me. The setting, yes. Especially having read the others in the series. At the same time... I guess how much he truly did care for Blue made it less dark to me?
Either way it was a great way. The details, slowly learning more about the world of Aerthe. I feel with each book we learn a little more and I am hooked!

Cari has brought us the next installment in her latest sci-fi series, Fated Possession. She continues to bring the hot steamy sex scenes mixed in with just the right amount of discipline to bring these earthlings to heel. This book seemed a little shorter and faster than the others in this series but it is still a good read, especially during these cold winter months. Highly recommended if you have read the other two books in this series. If you have not read them, I would recommend buying and reading them first so you get the complete picture of the world they live in. This can be Read as a stand alone book but you will have some questions about the location they live in. Great job Cari.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
The book I read from this collection was Fated Possession by Cari Silverwood. The story takes place in the Machinery of Desire world, and can be read as a standalone, however if you want to get an even more detailed background definitely check out her other books in The Machinery of Desire series.
I love how this story starts off with a bang and gets your attention right from pg 1
I really enjoyed Blue and Sassik's story even though it was a quick read I loved how they impacted each other. To me Blue brought Sassik back to life considering what happened in his past. And Sassik brought out a dark desire in Blue.

Addison Cain - Strangeways
This short was engaging, maybe a bit "appendage" creepy and totally entertaining, but I've come to expect no less from this author. If I were forced to complain about it I'd say it was way too short for my liking.
I don't know if it's Ms Cain's intention to give us more of this world but I really need her to reassure me that I don't have to wait for an alien invasion to find a good man!
