Everything He Won't Do

Rate this book
Zari (Beautiful) has been living with her boyfriend for six years, and their son is almost five. She’d become tired of playing the wifey role without the ring a while ago. Hasaan doesn’t seem to be paying attention to her constant hints. After encouragement to do something drastic to get his attention, by her best friend KayKay, she moves out of the apartment she has been sharing with Hasaan to live with her mother.

Moses sees something in Zari while she is training him to work the register at U.S.A. Grocery. He already knows he can take her from whomever she is with from the way she looks at him. He’s living with his ex-girlfriend while sleeping with one of his children’s mothers as often as he can. When he finds a way to get Zari’s attention, he reels her in like a fisherman’s biggest catch of the day.

Soon, Zari feels like she is living in hell. She doesn’t realize she has given the devil access to her home, her car, and her life. She reaches out to Hasaan for help, but he brushes her off because his ego is bruised. By the time he realizes she really needs him, it may be too late. Moses meant every word of the vows he took—until death do us part.
Will Zari lose it all for the “D”?

This book was awesome but very sad. I felt for Zari she was with Hassan for a long time and only wanted to be married which I don't blame her there is a lot of women who are in a relationship for like 20 or more years and never be married. Corey is nothing but a h** all he did was sleep wit women never caring about hurting their feelings or not. Moses seem like such a nice guy in the beginning but it's sad how he was abusing Zari. I really hope she's okay due to the accident and that Hasaan protects her n finally marries her. Moses needs to be dealt wit I hate how men who abuse their girl or children feel the can control them and keep them from leaving and moving on. Please bring part two out soon I really hope Zari and they babies are okay....

Trading in your everything only to be hoodwinked by an imposter

Zari was a good woman who only wanted her boyfriend to do right and committ to her instead of being just his baby momma. Hassan loves Zari but thinks that their relationship is fine as it is. Hassan never intended to lose Zari but then someone else comes in to rescue her and even though he appears to be her Knight in Shining Armour, he really isnt!! Need book 2 to find out what happens to Zari and what is Hassan going to do seeing his Zari all banged up!!!

An ok read

This book started out good but the further I got into the story I started to lose interest. Corey was the worse type of friend to have wanting Hasaan to be with someone who didn't want anything out of life but to be taken care of by a man. Zari went from a strong women to allowing someone to become controlling and abusive towards her I understand she felt she deserved more but the grass isn't always greener on the other side

Enjoyed it

I really enjoyed reading this book. Zari was getting on my last nerve. Hassan & her have been together for 5 yrs a few more wouldn't have mattered he wanted to marry her on his time not hers. She wanted to be married so bad & look what she ended up with not the love of her life but an abusive & conniving husband. They always say be careful of what u ask for. I can't wait for part 2 i knw it's going down

Interesting read. Characters were all over the place and it was hard to sympathy for any of them. Didn't understand Moses character... Dope Boy .. but doesn't have anything and using women. Zari and Hasaan got on my last nerves..even after 5 yrs and a child they clearly wasn't ready for marriage! Hasaan was just as stupid trying to keep up Corey that wasn't looking out for his best interests. Not really invested in reading part 2

Grass ain’t greener

Zari pissed me off with how weak she became. I feel that she should’ve just sat with Hassan & talked to him instead of just running away. Their issue wasn’t even a major one for her to do that. KayKay & Corey were just bad influences in their ears & they should’ve found new friends. Zari wanted to get married so back that she married a monster. She should’ve just listened to her mother from the beginning. I hope she pulls through in part 2.

Becareful

This book started off slow for me, but once i got into it, it was a good book. Zari was a good woman but she was impatient. I hate she allowed Mose to make her so weak. This is one of those becareful what you ask for, or the grass aint always greener on the other side. Can't wait for book 2

This was a good read but it started to drag on towards the end and it barely seemed to catch up with the prologue at the beginning before ending where we'll have to wait for the sequel. Overall, I liked the authors storytelling ability and the character development was decent, though not full so that I understood why they acted as they did in some situations. At any rate, it was a good read.

Pretty good, poor Zari

I'm not sure if I like 1st person or not, I'm used to reading in 2nd or 3rd person, so I had to adjust myself. Other than that, it was a great story. I hate how gullable Zari was. I look forward to seeing if she and the baby make it in part 2, though.

Wow.

Such a good read. My heart really goes out to Zari. It’s hard when a person goes looking for love in darkness. I hope she ends up with the love of her life and escapes her ex. Looking forward to book 2

This book was so good, I loved the story line, she wanted a marriage so bad and she excepted the crazy man instead of just letting the love of her life come and propose and now she might not make it, I am so sad for him her and the kids.

The grass is not always greener!

Zari left Hassan because he didn't propose which its nothing wrong with that but found her self in a much worse situation. I gave four stars because some parts of the story dragged to me. This was a really decent storyline and is worth the read.

This book will take you on emotional roller coaster. I felt so bad for Zari towards the end. This story flowed well. The characters were a bag of emotions. Hassan needs to smacked real good. This was a great read

The information in the book was good but I hated the point of view. It was definitely something I’m not used to. Because of the point of view I pushed myself to read it to the end however it was still interesting.

Liked it

Zari started to become so gullible especially for putting up with what she did. I definitely want to see what happens in part two.... hoping for the best.

This book was an ok read for me. I couldn't feel sorry for most of the characters in this book because they brought it themselves. Overall Great read
