The Shiftr App doesn't always give you a good match, especially if you don't give it the truthful answers to it's questions as Frankie finds out almost too late.
Connor's brother Frankie is still very weary of having a serious relationship even though it's been 3 years since he's been away from the bad influence of their father. He feels he wouldn't be good mate material for any female with the past he's had. Until he meets flaky, silly Selma and she manages to weasel him into her wacky scheme. He tries to fight the attraction he feels and the crazy ideas his bear has, but you just can't fight fate no matter what Shiftr claims.

Frankies story had some real lol moments , as I caught myself chuckling time to time. Who gets a boyfriend for hire anyhow? Silly Selma of course! When things don't go well with her ex Bert she needs a bf an fast. So why not the dreamy eyed long haired shifter that's also her Gardner an carpenter! Things get complicated real fast, and almost out of control!
I really enjoyed Frankie and Selmas story , was a real feel good with an hea.

Frankie and Silly Selma
Frankie had a troubled past because of his father. When he reunited with his brother and got away from his father's influence his life started to slowly change. He abhorred lies and lived by certain rules.
Selma made up lies about having a boyfriend. She was taking pictures of Frankie when he didn't know it so she could show her friends her "boyfriend".
She did nothing but lie to people for over half of the book. Then when Frankie asked her to redo her Shiftr profile she told him that she wouldn't do it. He shouldn't rely on a percentage on an app, that he should accept her as she was or there was no reason to be together.
I really didn't care for her much. She wanted him to accept her as she was but all she had shown him was she was a liar and couldn't accept reality if it was too difficult.
I have read every other book this author has written and liked them all. This book just wasn't one of them. The book was written well, so others may love it.

So love this series.
We got to know Frankie in one of the previous books. It was truly great to see a story about him. He truly is a great guy even though he had such a rough childhood. I don’t think Frankie had truly started to discover who he truly was until he got to know Selma.
Selma was a great girl and I had to laugh at her sneaking around snapping photos of Mr. Sexy himself, Frankie. I can only imagine the thoughts that went through Frankie’s mind when he found out. Then to hear her reasoning behind the whole thing went against everything he believed in.
The whole story made me laugh but at the same time I hurt for Selma. Here she was feeling she had to have a pretend boyfriend. She had low self-esteem and just need a real man to show her how special she really was.
I loved reading the romance come together between Frankie and Selma. It was truly blossoming. Though Selma had a lot of issues that did not mean Frankie was prefect. I found he had just as many issues as Selma.
This was truly a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

Dating a Shifter
Arians Hawkes is a wonderful author of handsome shifters with secrets and beautiful curvy women with love to give. I started reading the Swipe left for Love series with the first book, Dina and Logan's story and ever since I have not stopped with just one i went and bought each consecutive book since.
Each book is an HEA and can be read alone but if you're like me staring from the beginning you get to see how the secondary characters had met and how the dating app worked for them each story is totally different and each has you from the beginning.
In this book, you have Selma and Frankie\Bert even though they were signed in with the app they didn't meet through it. From there you see their ups and downs and the conflicts they go through but the end is really special. Love this whole series you will too

Two terrific books
I have read every one of the Swipe Left for Love books and hope there will be many more. Who does not want to be matched with a superbly handsome man and know you will be mated for life and he will never cheat? And what woman can resist knowing she does not have to be a size toe to be loved?
The second book is about a second chance at love. Madison returns to her hometown, runs in too her high school crush, who happens to be a bear shifter. Along with his cousin and uncle, they save her niece and friends who are stranded on the mountain in a blizzard. Oh, and it is Christmas. Not only does Madison get her Brock, but...read it and find out! Great author. I highly recommend every one of her many series.

As always Ariana does it again with another Swipe Left for Love book! I love these books! This one is about Frankie and Selma. Selma can’t help not telling little white lies. Well telling everyone she has this wonderful boyfriend but yet they broke up puts her right in the path of another lie. Frankie is hot so she’s asked him to act as her boyfriend. From there the lie goes further but both Frankie and Selma are starting to have real feelings. You will enjoy this book!

Frankie being the newest member in the clan, is getting his well deserved story. He has been through heck and back and it seems with no end in sight at times. Then he meets Selma and things change but he is refusing to listen to his bear. Fake dating, secret photos, isn't Frankie's thing as he doesn't like lying or secrets. Selma is just trying to keep everyone happy and keep up her charade, but everything is starting to fall in around her. These 2 make one heck of a pair if only one of them would open their eyes to see it.

I will admit, I had a hard time in the beginning with this one. While I really like this series and the author, this book talks about something that bothers me and that is lying. I get why Selma did it and I also understand why Frankie helped but you know that this is going to end badly when not only you lie about fake dating, but you require him to have a different name and occupation.
I started really liking to book after Selma came clean to everyone. The love these two had for each other grew and grew. They were meant to be together and I’m glad that Frankie realized it.

Took a while to warm up to Selma.
Lovely to finally get Frankie’s story but I am never enamoured with liars, a bit like Frankie in that respect.
Selma was just too ditzy silly at the beginning for me to bond with her.
Frankie was just so sweet and really nice.
Saying that I enjoyed the story but would have liked it to be just a bit more mature on the heroines side.
Thoroughly enjoyed the ending.

Still fresh
It is wonderful that this author has kept this series fresh. Many series become stale after about 7 or 8 installments, but this one hasn’t. Frankie, brother to Alpha Conner, wasn’t always responsible and therefore has gone to the extreme of rule following and rigidity. When he agrees to take part in a charade, his life is forever changed. Silly, aka Selma, is viewed as flakey and flighty. All she needs in her life is a patient bear, and she is complete.

She needed a pretend boyfriend and he said yes.as they get to know one another she knows how she feels and his bear said mate.she tells the truth about him to one and all and he has hang up about not being 90% or better from dating app. She tells him to deal with and accept her as is and they decide to date for 2 weeks and go from there , he re answer the questions and they were already being a couple and the % had gone way up...lol

Now she needs to produce him. Frankie didn't like liars. So when Selma asked him to pretend his first instinct is to say no. But then something has him changing his mind.

This series lacks depth but if you like simple, short romances that can be read quickly these are the books for you. This particular story lacked a lot. The female, for the majority of the story, appeared to be a flaky, stalker. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.

Meh
I like this series; however Frankie and Selma are my least favorite couple. He's too rigid for about 90% of the story (since when do shifters refuse found mates over percentages?), and she's a ditz for about 85%. Their bond didn’t have any sizzle, either. This is an undemanding read.

Selma and Frankie make an awesome couple. It starts out fake. Frankie agrees to help her but soon finds himself wanting more. Shifters mate for life and Frankie is determined to find his fated mate. Is Selma his? Excellent read.

Loved Frankies story. If anyone deserved a HEA it was Frankie and Selma was the perfect one to be with him since she also has a lot of insecurity. Love this series and hope there will be more.

What a Gazebo
Frankie and Selma story was A breathe of fresh air. It was whimsical and fun. I'm so happy for Frankie and Connor after what they been through with their father. I love the way he confessed his love for her. You wanna find out get the book.

Sweet romance
Can a ditsy woman catch the somber bear? Selma seemed so scattered and flighty that Frankie was kinda surprised when he found her taking pictures of him unknowingly. She then asked him to be her pretend boyfriend. From then on it was a ride to the end.

This entire series has been awesome to read, Ariana Hawkes did an amazing job with them all. I highly recommend reading them, you won't be disappointed. I can't wait to read more about the remaining clan members.

Silly, fun read
I liked how Frankie turned out much better than I expected.
I enjoyed the way this story played out. To me it seemed lighter and more fun than some of the other books.

One of your best book. The story is long enough to keep you interested and full of the instances for a good story. The characters are drawn beautifully and rich. Waiting for the next one.
