Evan thought his divorce was tough, but that's nothing compared to suddenly being granted angelic powers to fight the forces of Hell!

People go about their lives never knowing that supernatural forces beyond their perception can influence their every move, and Evan Michaels is no exception. He's just a man trying to get over his divorce, but horrible recurring nightmares of an infernal creature are making that task almost impossible. It also doesn't help that Alicia, his best friend, has been in a mental institution for seeing demons everywhere around her.

After noticing a mysterious man following him, Evan suddenly begins to see demons, as well. When Evan confronts the man, he reveals himself as Nolan, his Guardian Angel, and explains that Evan has become a Bellator Dei, a mortal warrior bestowed with angelic powers. It becomes a race against time for Evan to learn how to use his powers effectively before Hell sends its forces to destroy him... and the people he loves!

Torn Asunder is a modern fantasy tale of loss, love, and redemption, in a hostile age where faith in anyone or anything is in short supply.

Be not afraid of the dark... make the dark afraid of you!

Omg, I loved this book. I never post reviews for anything, but when I came across this book the synopsis grabbed my attention. I read this from my Kindle Unlimited. Let me tell you this book was definitely worth the read, and I will definitely be buying my own copy. The book kept me engaged and the characters were relatable. There were so many times that I was brought to tears, anger, frustration, and joy. I love writers that can do that. The book is definitely PG13 because of language, but that doesn't take away from the overall story in fact it added to the believability to the characters. This is definitely a must read.
