I normally don't do police procedural-type books, but after reading Ana Ban's other books I gave these a try as well. So glad I did! Mia is an interesting character with a heartbreaking background. Donovan is a dark, sexy and mysterious man she's supposed to hate but finds herself falling for. We're left with two different cliff hangers at the end- must read next book!

Mia is wholly focused on her work, to the detriment of her relationships and outside hobbies. When an opportunity arises to go undercover, she leaps in with both feet, ready to take out the criminal masterminds known only as Selena and Donovan. However, Donovan isn't quite the evil criminal Mia thought him to be. Now, she must keep her wits about her as she finds herself falling for the dark, mysterious man... and somehow, do her job at the same time.
