Adam triumphant!

M-SE, I'm not sure if I love your books or hate them! They are always too short. Adam's harem grows by the day as does the area he rules. Mind you, Yu had it right, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed! Thank goodness for his harem which must comprise the finest female minds in all the galaxies! While he's comatose the ladies are controlling and running everything on his behalf. Mind you, the best leaders have to learn how to delegate but it's Madalena who does that because she's already been running a kingdom on behalf of her father! If you haven't read the first books in this series this book is not for you! On the other hand, if you have read the other books, get ready for another bumpy ride with Adam and Eve et al!! Good fun as usual. Now we wait for the next one! 😥😥

A great story teller

I have read the eight books , so far, of star justice in one long session. That was a result of being impressed by his Destroyer four books that convinced me MS E is the real deal. My pleasure from his books and ability as a story teller and author is five stars. The reason I did not give him five stars are two. One is too much unnecessary descriptive details of minor places and background, like the author is dragging the books to reach word count. I like it better when a skilled author allows the readers to use their imagination with just a word or two, so instead of going into a long sentence detailing every nuance of a Japanese garden, say two words and we will understand the background. I understand the commercial aspect of sales, but I’d rather pay more money for less books, than go through many books that have too much fat.
The second issue I had is with the technology. I find it hard to accept that in the fifth millennium we are still using gun powder to propel projectiles.
However for anyone who likes a well told story with greater than life characters and adventure I highly recommend everything MS E writes. I’m certain that I’ll put him in my own personal hall of fame for authors that I buy and read their books regardless of cost or subject.

I have read this series from the beginning. Of all the books so far Shadow Eagle is my favorite in the series. Great action throughout the book without bogging down in too much minutia with just enough intrigue to keep the story fresh.

There are some great surprises in Shadow Eagle. A lot of questions are answered but many more questions are left open. There are several great plot twists that I did not expect, so this book kept me guessing. As it turns out I was way off track concerning Adam’s sister.

Adam is collecting quite the harem, adding new beauties nearly every page (OK, that is an exaggeration but it seems like it). At the beginning of the book, I did not like an indecisive Adam as that felt somewhat out of character for him.

In the military we are taught that, expect in extreme circumstances (which may include the spot Adam and crew found themselves) once a decision is made you do not change your mind midcourse. I like how the story progressed even when Adam changes his mind. I would have rather Adam make the decision of how the plot went rather than appear weak-minded and change his orders.

Of all the characters, I have always empathized with Zea the most. Her angst over becoming lost in Adam’s harem or pushed aside for a lovelier Viking is understandable. I am looking forward to the changes in Zea’s character, especially after she goes through the rites becoming Nordar and submitting to Adam.

I do like that Zea recognizes that she is the reason the crew has not become a flying space orgy. One of my concerns has been just that – the crew of Persephone would become a swinging space orgy the author catering to the juvenile and prurient interests of some readers.

The author has settled into the characters writing with an ease not seen in the previous books. The interaction between the characters is smoother in Shadow Eagle. I am looking forward to the next book in the series, as Shadow Eagle ended on a hell of a cliffhanger.

Wow Another Stunning Ending...

Everything kept going wrong for Adam and his team.. and now it’s seems to good to be true he’s winning all these battles. Shadow Eagles are what Ships like Persephone are called. Persephone is alive and can only speak to Adam.. somehow Tigermen and Shadow ships are tied together in history. Dr Yu “the man who experimented” on Adam has other names.. Calvin.. etc.. and Eve has seen blank spots in his memory but there is evidence he has been around a long time with out aging. I’m not sure what the main theme of this book was maybe that everything is not as it has seemed..as Adam now gained another wife.. out of submission as King within the Clans and also has fought many strange creatures in dreams and reality. The SAOV Arm entwined in everything and a recent new creature mentioned them as well as Dr Yu.. Eve as we already know is benevolent BUT has SAOV DNA..? Is she really who she seems?? Don’t forget about Adam’s fight against changing into a full tiger or his quest for his sister.. I have only more questions now..which.. I know there is a book 10.. so I wonder where Book 9 will leave us next?

This series is enjoyable, but it is starting to grow a bit old. Adam goes somewhere, gets in fights along with meeting new people who may or may not be interested in him, and then the book eventually ends. It seems a bit formulaic at this point, and rather than working on the already existing characters and their story very much, Michael-Scott Earle thinks that he should just add in more characters and maybe talk a tiny bit about the already existing characters. He did talk about the ship a bit, which was great, but no other already existing characters had much depth added to them. I am enjoying the series still at this point, but I am approaching boredom with it. Also, I want Adam to complete his trial where he hangs for days straight. I want to see if it has some magic properties like the submission stuff and grants him more power or something in addition to the awesome power suit that people get from their trial completions.

I removed a * due to the additional of yet another women companion as it is getting a bit repetitive.
With the writing on the wall of the future inclusion of Juliette into the said Harem.
Eve, Zea, Paul and Kasta were sufficient and with madalena being a surprise addition and now Sivaha being a weak attempt of replicating Madalena.

The action/fighting scenes are also becoming repetitive and fortunately I find myself be able to skip them and pick up immeditaely afterwards without compromising the development of the plot.
The last page of the novel prevented me from giving it a 2 * rating
Get on with the story

Pulp Action Express Delivery

Once again we have a fantastic mashup of SF, horror, action, drama, suspense, comedy, romance, and even harem, all wrapped up in a delightfully digestible story that proves pulp fiction is not dead. If you enjoyed Max Bolan or Doc Savage, then you’re gonna love this series. Beautifully edited, and turned out at a rate that makes me wonder if Earle ever sleeps, this latest installment delivers on expanding the story and plot just further enough to keep you coming back for more. And you will. Highly recommended.

That cliffhanger though

Who wants to be human when u can conquer entire fucking kindoms as a badass space marine tigerman. This one gains a few more girls and more nations but the story really moves forward like a bullet from a shotgun. Though it leaves major plot threats unanswered and neglects some characters they added in with barely any mention into them. If they describe anyone u pretty sure that person is the next flag in the story which leads to three things different endings :kill, conquer or fuck.

At this time I have read a number of books in this series and they are uniformly entertaining. The author combines paranormal, space opera and harem themes with great success. Overall, it is about the group saving the galaxy for an alien predator race. Along the way they deal with home-grown baddies. Remarkably there are not long and tedious descriptions of sex and the plot moves along steadily. If you like space opera, this is a fun series.

it seems somewhat unlikely but every book reveals more of the world at almost the exact same pace. which is damn near neck breaking. Literally, i wish i could read this series every minute of free time i possess. Cudos MSE, i envy your imagination and hope to one day emulate your literary excellence

Tiger Tiger Burning Bright

Will He Eclipse The Dragon?
I really like this series. I think this book may be the best so far. The humor is delicious and the depiction of emotions is exquisite. The interaction of the characters is harmonious and the flow of action very smooth. Will Adam learn how to control the beast within? I look forward to the next book.

Tons of action, tough hot women, and a nearly invincible tiger man. If that sounds like fun, then this is the book series for you, and if you like the other books in this series, you'll love this one. You can read this book independently, but it's much better if you read all of the books. I'm certainly looking forward to the next book.

Contains graphic violence, bad language, and sex.

Interesting Developments

This latest chapter of Adam's adventures has some great twists that keep the story fresh. The girls are typically sexed up (which I do still find highly implausible) and the baddies still seem just a tad incompetent - but it still makes for some great fun if you don't take it too seriously!

Not as good as the others

I am enjoying this series but I found this book wasn't as good as the others. Spoilers: the dream sequence / dream attack was half the book and went way too long, I found myself skipping large parts. Once you get over that, it gets good again and the ending with Adam's sisters revelation was really good.

Why can't I get the other volumes AMAZON?

I love this series, it's well thought out, the characters are great, good bits of action and mystery thrown in and for some reason Amazon has removed the entire series! And I can't find the rest of it anywhere not even hard copy, thanks amazon....thanks

Better than ever

The story picks up directly from the previous book, with Adam tired still... And that boy never gets to rest. Great addition, and more importantly, moves the story along nicely.

That cliffhanger though...!!!

I don't think I could be any happier with this series and where its heading. The characters are developing nicely, and the news additions fit perfectly. Can't wait for book 9.

A Twister

What a great storyline! Lots of action and the last sentence... What a teaser! Keep them coming and thanks for your hard work. It is nice only waiting for a short time for the next book instead of a year or more.

Star Justice is a great series

Always a page turner. I’m quite eager to see where the story goes. To follow Adam and his friends on their adventures. I wasn’t thrilled with one long dream sequence but otherwise a stellar addition to the series.

Huh?!

Wow, it's been another rollercoaster ride, but quite the curve ball at the end! Otherwise, yet another great addition to the series. Still lots of loose ends yet to be tied up, but I guess that's part of the appeal of the series - there's always more to look forward to!

Adam seems to have a knack for being stupid and causing things to go sideways. I like many aspects of the story but the interaction with the DAVO is purely stupid, like having a conversation with a 3 year old.
