Malik has two apprentices now, Faleena and Aerinor, and is nearing time to announce his successor.

Faleena and Aerinor aren't sure what to think of each other as they contend for top spot, but nothing is more important at the present than finding out who would poison the king's wife in order to kill her unborn baby.

Can they work together to find the would-be killer and put their differences aside long enough to find they're more alike than different?

This is a sweet short story, snack-sized, really. And the cover doesn't do the story justice, making it seem more sinister than it really is. A little magic, a little friendship, and a little love is what you'll find when you pick up Mage Seer.

Well there isn't much to this story.. it was very short. But it did have a happy ending. Not much else I can say about it.

A good prequel.

As a prequel, this brings forth an interest to see what will come from the two young mages. A must to read and see.
