I feel like always I start the reviews of self-help books the same way. I have a lot of skepticism but I can't resist them when offered. I was worried when the title includes living to age 123, but that's meant sort of light-heartedly in the same sense that if you aim for the stars, you're bound to much higher than not trying at all. I loved this book which is actually chock full of solid advice and was very glad to see that it is indeed practical. Some of this I already do, some I'd like to word towards, and some isn't for me. The great news is that any of it will get anyone further on the path to living better. There are some questions/writing points (the reader gets to write) at the end of each chapter. This entire book is well-organized and offers great value in challenging society's idea of aging. It doesn't deny the truth of aging at all but shows there are still opportunities at any age. The ultimate goal is to live an engaged (i.e. looking forward to getting up everyday, living in the present, --that sort of thing) life everyday in relative good health until it's natural end.
Helpful for people of a certain age! I think everyone needs a reminder and there are so many different ways to age gracefully. Why not age with gusto?!
