Be swept away by the classic fairy tale medieval romance trilogy by the “Queen of Medieval Romance”! Three brothers set out on a Bride Quest at the behest of Princess Brianna and each find love of legendary power…
In The Princess, Brianna challenges three knights to compete for her hand, declaring that she will marry the one who brings her a gift that makes her laugh. She hopes to avoid the king’s dictate and marry for love, but Luc has no interest in surrendering to a beauty’s whim. He has abandoned his life as a knight and put down his sword forever—or so he thinks, until Brianna tempts him to fight for her love.
In The Damsel, Burke returns to Ireland in the hope of claiming the hand of Alys, the beauty who haunts his dreams. Consigned to the custody of her cruel relatives, Alys has lost hope in any happiness, but Burke lays siege to her assumptions with resolve, restoring both her faith and her love. But when the secrets of the past threaten the couple’s future, will their love be enough to defend them?
In The Heiress, Rowan takes his brothers’ challenge and vows to win the hand of the richest heiress in Ireland. There is no place for love in this charming rogue’s heart—until he finds himself buying a beautiful slave girl, one who provokes him into reconsidering all he knows to be true, and daring him to win her heart, if he can.

Absolutely, hands down, the best medieval romances I've ever read. Each one is a perfect gem; together they give us the legendary romances of all three Fitzgavin brothers.
But the second story with Burke and Alys is heart breaking. The way Alys was hurt by Burke indirectly by her mothers sisters family after Alys and Burke showed affection and love for each other and were interrupted. Burkes proposel for Alys was shoved back in his face by her family and told to leave. because they think he should marry her oldest cuisin instead. But now he has returned for a bride and he wants it to be Alys.
I love Claire Delacroix' s writing style as much as Katherine LeVeque's. I thoroughly enjoyed this trilogy...love all three brothers and their stories and anxiously look forward to reading more of her medieval historical romances! Highly recommend without any reservations!
All three of these books are stories of how three brothers found the love of their lives. Each of them have the wonderful writing that draws you in and brings the book to life. It is amazing to think of a time that a man can see a woman's bare ankle and have his heart beat increase.
Great writing and I can't wait to start on books 4,5 & 6!
The first and third were entertaining, if not lengthy for lengthy sake. But the second was good. If there wasn't a third in this bundle, I'd have stopped reading mid way. It was way too long and kept repeating the same issues over and over.
I loved these three medieval romances included in this set. You had murder, mystery, revenge, envy and love. I highly recommend reading this boxed set.
