The Alphas #3

Blood Bond

Rate this book
Blood is thicker than water, or so the saying goes.

For Mara the blood that runs through her veins is more than a source of life. It is the thing that ties her to Malcom, formerly her best friend and partner in battle. Past events have formed a rift in their relationship and Malcom no longer wants the vampire in his life. Not only is she connected to the brooding wolf, but the bond reaches to his mate, Stephanie.

Content to spending her life alone, banished from her vampire family, Mara spends her time bedding the new alpha wolf in between her solo excursions. Her life of predominant solidarity is about to come to an end. Stephanie is in trouble, and Malcom, though he told her to never enter his life again, needs her help.

Mara hopes for reconciliation, but will she get what she truly wants?

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, writing has always been a passion for Jessica Cage. She dabbles in artistic creations of all sorts but at the end of the day, it's the pen that her hand itches to hold. Jessica had never considered following her dream to be a writer because she was told far too often "There is no money in writing." So she chose the path most often traveled. During pregnancy she asked herself an important question. How would she be able to inspire her unborn son to follow his dreams and reach for the stars, if she never had the guts to do it herself? Jessica decided to take a risk and unleash the plethora of characters and their crazy adventurous worlds that had previously existed only in her mind, into the realm of readers. She did this with hopes to inspire not only her son but herself. Inviting the world to tag along on her journey to become the writer she has always wanted to be. She hopes to continue writing and bringing her signature Caged Fantasies to readers everywhere.

The Alternative Ending saved it for me. I’ve hated most of the male characters in this series, and felt like the AE encompassed more of the knowledge that the female characters found. Would’ve loved to see a Natalie/Rue romance, but maybe in a future series if we get more Rue stories!

Jessssssssica! She made me cry! I was so happy for an alternate ending I didn’t know what to do! Definitely preferred the alternate but I’m an not one to tell an artist how to create their visions. I truly enjoyed the entire Alpha’s series and longed for Mara to find her true self and happiness. Still wondered what ever became of Serene however!

Great read

Loved the trilogy. Would love to see more male gay characters in the future with more of a story line. Loved the fact that the write included LGBT characters in her story even if they didn’t have a full story line.
