This is one of my most favourite movies, and since the book is based on the script, you can visualize the film as you read. The book is based on the original script, and so it includes a couple of things that weren't featured in the 1979 release of the film, but were including in a later DVD edition. A quick and fun read!

Good adaptation of a movie. Some of the language reflects the feelings of the time.

A book that came out, at least in paperback, to take advantage of the John Belushi movie of the same name. Not terribly well written and a bad take on a pretty bad movie.

Workmanlike novelisation of a dumb 1980s film directed by Stephen Spielberg and with many A-list actors of the period.

Six days after Pearl Harbour, a Japanese submarine surfaces off the coast of California and decides to attack Hollywood. There follows a series of laboured pratfalls of the M*A*S*H variety.
