Piper Reagan is a wife, mom, dog lover, and avid reader. Her love for books led her to throw her hat in the ring and write one of her own. When she's not bustin' tail at her day job, she's sneaking in time to read and write, which has been her greatest escape from day-to-day stress.
Oh man, this packed it all in...cute, sweet, and funny!!! It was just the perfect short story add-on to the, “Fighting” series, by J.B. Salsbury! It’s a must read if you enjoyed that series!
I think this is a super cool idea—a fan that loves a series, and is then given the creative freedom by the author to come up with such a fabulous addition! Fan-fiction at it’s finest!!
After reading “Jack and Sadie,” I couldn’t have stumbled across this at a more perfect time! My eyes leaked during a certain scene...and I even LOL a few times...loved this golden little nugget!
I loved this book! Not only did we get to revisit some of our favorite characters from the Fighting Series by JB Salsbury, but we got to understand more about Jonah's mom, Katherine, and meet his new neighbors ;) I laughed so much reading this book. I swear Katherine is my spirit animal. Anyway, though we definitely got more of our favorite fighter banter, we also got plenty of sigh worthy, heart eye emoji moments as we see Katherine develop a new relationship that, no shock here, Jonah is less than excited for. I can't remember the last time I finished reading a book and had a goofy grin on my face because it was just that good and made me feel so happy for the characters. If I had this in a paperback, I probably would've hugged it haha.
This was amazing. I swear if I didn’t know differently, I would think JB Salsbury wrote this. I loved getting Katherine’s story of falling in love again and throwing in more of Jonah and Raven, that’s the icing on the cake. Add in Blake and his crazy self and that made this novella just perfect.
The only negative thing I could say would be....I wish it was longer. I didn’t want it to end.
Fun little fan fiction story based off one of my favorite books in the Fighting Series.
I loved how this story tied into the series as it exists, and how we get to see Katherine find her deserved hea after raising her family and losing her first love. Cute cute cute!!!
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. Flight forward is the first book of Piper Reagan’s that I have read. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters loveable and storyline enjoyable. This story features characters from JB Salsbury’s fighting series. I loved getting to see/hear from Jonah, Raven and the crew. After losing her husband fifteen years earlier, Katherine Slade is ready to start dating again. Whilst visiting her son, Katherine meets his new neighbour and sparks fly. Jonah knows his mother deserves to find love again but he hates the idea of her not being with his late father. The chemistry between Katherine and Marcus is clear to see and I really liked them as a couple. I liked that Marcus’s dog kind of helped set Katherine and Marcus up. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait to go and discover more of Piper Reagan’s stories.
This is a quick read, totally entertaining and absolute perfection in blending with the Fighting Series. Oh, Jonah is losing his sheeeet when his mom tells him she's ready to date again. Of course he hadn't thought it would happen so fast but when you have a "sexy grandma" according to Blake (love him, BTW), it's imminent. Katherine has found her own sexy man with the help of four-legged Roxy which happens to belong to Johan's neighbor. There's also a bit of a twist that has Johan looking at relationship differently as he waits to hear the fate of his wife and baby. But fret not, there's an HEA. This is a must read for all you Fighting Series fans. This makes me want to do a re-read of the Fighting Series.
Cuuuutttteeeee...i wanted more from these two. It was only a mention of sex...wouldnt have minded reading about thier first time together since she hadnt been with anyone since her late husband.
Loved this book! Really loved taking a look back at Jonah's past. Seeing what made him the man he became. Loved that his mom got her second chance at love!!!
This was just average. It got a 3 because it’s always nice to revisit my characters. This was the definition of insta-love and I hate those. Ugh. I loved Blake and Jonah though. We really didn’t get to know Marcus. How they fell in love in a day I don’t know. Not good. No meat, growth, development or anything. Just didn’t work for me.
Jonah and Raven's story is probably my favorite of the fighting series and this quick read solidifies that. Jonah's mom, Katherine, is so incredibly sweet and Marcus is absolutely hot for her. It's so cute how protective he is of his mama. Now I really want to read Sadie's book!
I loved this novella! Seeing all of the characters from J.B. Salsbury’s Fighting series was great. I really liked watching Jonah’s (Fighting for Flight) mom get her 2nd chance at love. When Katherine met Marcus there was an immediate attraction that quickly grew, even though Jonah had a very hard time with her dating again. I really enjoyed both of the books I have read from this author.
