As all reviews mentioned, this series starts off with serious Twilight vibes. There are four MCs Cassia, Thames, Cairo, and Faline.

First, I want to give a quick overview of the main characters as I saw them.

Cassia is a foster child in her senior year who is determined to make it through without any hitches so she can carry on with her life when she ages out of the system. Little does she know there is so much more in store for her in this quiet town, Heaven, that she is sent to. In the first book, she was really irky trying to reveal the secrets of Cairo and Thames. She didn't care about any bodies safety, including her own. I was glad to see her have some growth, although she stayed somewhat guarded until the very end.

Thames is the first person to introduce himself to Cassia. The first person she deems a friend and the "bad boy"of the school who doesn't interact with anyone but is immediately attracted to Cassia. Thames. Although he has accepted what he is, he is still hard on himself and thinks he is undeserving of anything good in life, especially after trying and failing.

Cairo is a goody two shoes who saves Cassia in the woods before even meeting her. Although she never saw his face, she remembers his presence. She quickly realizes that there is more to him that meets the eyes. Cairo is annoying in thinking he knows everything, never really listens to Thames. Cairo is annoying different tines throughout the series, thinking he knows everything, never really listens to Thames or others.

Faline is sheltered by her angel father, even more so after her mom died in a fire. Her first time out in the world, she meets people and discovers a secret her father has been hiding from her. She has to learn to navigate the world with fresh eyes, and IMO is a bit selfish and obsessive with certain things.

The books were written nicely and really portrayed how small the world may seem and at the same time everything happens for a reason.

Despite each of their individual flaws, I grew vested in each of the characters and their growth and love for one another. I was happy to see them be able to heal from both physical and mental trauma as well as learn to fully accept themselves for who they were. This allowed them to weather through everything that was thrown at them. From the lies, sacrifice, betrayal, and secrets.

So if you are looking for a quick read with some action, found family, and where love survives even when you think it is at its breaking point, I recommend reading this series.

This is not a boring read this is a Wonderful YA/UrbanFantasy/Romance with a different spin on Angels and Demons with chemistry, action, and love. The Angels & Demons series storyline is well written with an interesting and addictive plot and characters that come to life. I loved this book and the only disappointing aspect is that it's over, and I wished it were a series. Megan has given us an emotional read with plenty of intrigue, action, adventure, deception, and betrayal. WOWZA! I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

This story was interesting mix in the angel and demon saga. Faline and Thames made an couple coming from different backgrounds.

The book was a good read. Definitely a young adult story but not extremely juvenile.

Truth

Book three was harder for me to get into reading for some reason the story just was not holding my attention. I picked it up and would read for awhile then put it down and then like a bolt of lighting the story grabbed me and would not let go until I finished it. Glad I continued to read this book till the end instead of giving up.

You will find out how the Cairo, Cass, Faline and Thames continue to fight for what is right against an angel gone rogue.
