I could no longer find the version I have on my kindle which was fortunately a kindle unlimited selection and was free. This story was in it, but there were probably 30 other ones and each one was worse than the next. The writing was horrible, the dialog almost seemed like the author had english as a second language and words were misused constantly. The characters in every story were cardboard cutouts with no real personality, and they all had the theme of a father/uncle/brother selling the girl to someone. This was simply an awful collections of stories. I'm not sure why I finished the book, it was like watching a slow motion disaster unfold. I need to read something else to fix my brain!
