Lil’ Baby Fell in Love with A Young Boss

At a young age Empryss realized what it meant to face the harsh reality of the real world. Having to fend for herself because her mother would rather disappear for days chasing a high. Empryss dealt with a few tragedies, ending with her being placed in a group home where she met who she assumed was the love of her life. With so much bad happening in her life all she wants is love and she think she's found that in her current boyfriend Tez. Through the heartache and abusive he inflicts Empryss still stays.
Nadir was what you would call Empryss' knight in shining armor. Always protecting her from the evils of the world and making sure she was good. All it takes is one night out for the two to reconnect and for her to realize the true definition of being loved. Being with Nadir gives her a different feel. Something that she's not used to. Having her mother disappoint then meeting Tez who has done nothing but mistreat and take her for granted. Empryss finally gets the love she always yearned for but what happens when the love she knows isn't all it's cracked up to be?
Love will get tested and secrets will be told. In the end will Empryss be strong enough to handle all that comes with falling in love with a young boss.

That ending though
It was a good read. Held my attention from the start. My only gripe is why the person who needed a happy ending, once again got the short end of the stick? Empryss was dealt a bad hand from the very beginning. Knowing what all she went through, Na was selfish and wrong for what he did to her. He should have told her from the jump about his insecure wife. Did he even know that she died pregnant with his child? I need a re do on that ending because for all E went through she should have been the only one with a happy ending.

Unexpected ending!!
This was a good read. Empryss has a hard life, and couldn’t seem to catch a break. Nadir was there for her when no one else was. Tez was the typical dude that takes advantage of a young, helpless girl. The storyline was interesting and held my attention. That ending was unexpected to say the least, and left me with my mouth hanging.

Nice read
This was a good story I felt empress pain and rare loved her he just didn’t know how to do it the right way, I believe had he told her from jump she would have stayed with him. But at the end she chose to go back to the crazy person instead of moving on DV is no joke at all and I am sad about how her life ended in such pain

Great book!!!!!
First time reading from this author and it won't be my last!!! E went through a lot growing up and in adulthood. I'm very sadden on what she had to endure. Na was a f*ck not and as much as I wanted to like him. I didn't like his ways. I couldn't stand Tez!!! This book took me through it but it was well worth the read.

Empryss
I thought Empryss was gonna finally get her happiness. Rare/Na should have gotten his self together before it was too late. I really enjoyed this story because it’s somebody’s reality.

This was definitely a didn't see that coming at the end. Very good none the least. I felt bad for Empryss and ironically Nadir as well. The heart wants what the heart wants. You just have to make sure the heart is clear to move forward with no baggage.

Wow my heart went out to Empryss she’s been through some things. Tez was a piece of work, but Nadir I wished that he was upfront with her, I do not doubt for one second that he didn’t love her he was just doing too much...Great job

Definitely wasnt expecting that ending. I thought they would eventually get it together. Na was scum of the earth, she didn’t deserve what was done to her! Great read!

I enjoyed this read. This was a new to me author and I really enjoyed. I will absolutely be reading more from her.
