Convict for Christmas

Great short story. Kelsey finally getting the break she needs, when her assignment is to write about Patrick Woods. Kelsey meets Patrick and both their lives change for good. Quick insta love story that you will want more of Patrick & Kelsey.

I was hooked from page 1. I love Reid & Sandra. Both of them thought the worst of each other but slowly as they spent time together they grew closer together. Reid needs to find a wife quickly to keep his garage and Sandra might be the one to help him out. Once you start reading you will get so sucked into Sandra and Reid's story they you will be rooting for them to have their HEA. I love the interaction that Reid had with his son Roman it was so sweet and so funny. The story was amazing and it ended perfectly.

I really enjoyed Liam & Aubrey's story. Liam will do anything to protect his daughter. Liam never thought he could love again after what his ex did but once he sees Aubrey, she changes something inside him. I love seeing Liam & Aubrey fake being together turn into something real. Their story had me hooked from the beginning. Great characters and a great storyline and there ending was perfect.

Enjoyable read and I couldn't help laugh with what came out of Tanner & Murph mouth. Camille is in an abusive relationship and Dean comes to her rescue only to kidnap her for himself. Dean has Camille play along but her ex wants her back. With a crazy ex, can Camille & Dean finally be free and be together. Great story and loved the ending.

My Boss for Christmas
Ally loves everything about Christmas and is excited for the holiday party until her and Mr. Wolfe gets stranded on the roof. Both try anything to get out but is no use until finally they are rescued. Mr. Wolfe & Ally learn more about each other and Mr. Wolfe invites Ally to meet his son. One look and they can’t deny they want each other. Looks like they had the perfect Christmas Eve. If you like a quick insta love holiday story then this is a must read.

Enjoyed this interesting collection of stories that kept me entertained with the drama, the heated passion and the good characters dealing with their personal issues.

Despite her rich parents trying to meddle in her life, Sandra was a very independent woman with her own business. Reid was her best friend ex-husband and now her sexy neighbor. But she was not willing to cross that path because she could not stand the man. Reid had his business, but he had to fulfill his grandfather’s will to keep it. But Temptation, always, is lurking in the dark, the day and even in the corner and things were warming between the neighbors. Loved how the sexual tension was built and Reid’s shamelessness. That man was hot and knew how to show it. Liked it so much! When both were threatened to lose everything, it was time to show the true feelings so, they did. Entertaining, romantic and interesting story with strong and decided characters and the ever-present villains, emotions, hot sex, amusing scenes and a HEA. Enjoyed the way the characters dealt with their feelings and the sexual tension.

Liam’s business had him traveling almost all the time. He had hired a caretaker for his daughter and his mom hoping to fix the issues with his ex-wife soon and stay home more. By chance, he met Aubrey, the caretaker he didn’t know, in the supermarket and felt attracted to her. A difficult situation for Aubrey when she met Liam at work and knew he was the boss. Liam’s ex tried to blackmail him threatening him and making him took drastic actions. The story was interesting, entertaining with lot of drama and twists, strange and amusing situations, some suspense, threatening secondary characters, romance and passion.

When Dean witnessed abuse against a woman, he knew he had to take matters in his hands. He could do something to help her and he would not fail. Even if he had to take drastic measures. Camille had been felt guilty for so long time that she thought she deserved to be punished. She was trapped in an unhealthy and dangerous relationship she could not escape until this strange, entered in her life and changed it. An interesting and entertaining story that even had some amusing scenes with the secondary characters. Action, intrigue, violence, suspense, romance, hot sex and more than one evil character lurking in the dark. Like these stories with strong issues where the protagonists had to face their demons and work with them.

Penelope Bloom, writes some yummy romances with hot alpha males, awesome leading ladies and plot twisting stories that pull at your heartstrings, make you smile and need to cool down!
These Single Dad stories are some of my absolute favorites from her! All unique, and ready to be devoured!
If you have not read any of the full-length novels, I highly suggest picking up this set! It includes the two Christmas steamy novella for an added spicy bonus!

This one sitting read had me shaking my head at the craziness of it all, yet thinking well if it were going to happen I would want it to happen with someone who has a bowling alley in the basement and was that much of a dirty talking alpha male type. So fanning my face at the hotness, * the theater scene Yea-ah no I am afraid of heights haha*-Getting frustrated when they both cannot get their crap together- and feeling the excitement of the impending suspense that I could not put it down! The characters are relatable, his brothers - I feel like I have met them before, and her best friend yeah. I have one just like her! So while it may not be the most believable thing the world, it is fiction! That is why I read it!

My Boss For Christmas:
Well now! This is one demanding boss Ally got for Christmas!
A naughty, frustrating, Oh no he did not- kind of tale that grabbed my attention from the very first page! A bad boy all the way- this girl is all for her boss taking what he wants!
A spectacular way to end this fantastic set of books by Penelope Bloom!

Single Dad Next Door
This is my favourite so far of Penelope Bloom's books....I loved every page and I couldn't put it down once I started. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Reid and Sandra but not only that the strong, independent woman that Sandra is and the hot mechanic that Reid is. He not only sticks up for her with her parents but does selfless acts that makes you swoon and want him for yourself. Even though there is a bit of drama it isn't overdone and the story comes together beautifully. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

An insta lust/love story about a woman, Aubrey, who is a caretaker to a sassy ninety year old woman and her granddaughter. The son, Liam, is a billionaire and comes home from business and starts flirting with Aubrey right away. When his ex wife wants more money and he refuses she goes after full custody of their daughter. Liam devises a plan and asks Aubrey to be his fake fiancée to help his case. Little does he know that his ex will do anything to win. When Aubrey's ex starts threatening her as well, Liam will do anything to protect her and the fake becomes real, but they have to beat his ex and catch her ex to win.
A good read with lust/love and few good laughs with grandma's sass and a sexy billionaire who will do anything for the women he loves & a HEA that will make you smile.

A fast paced book about an abused woman, Camille, and the man, Dean, who intervenes when he sees her being abused. He "kidnaps" her from her abusive boyfriend and asks her to be his fake fiancée so his daughter won't think that he gave up a love life for her. While being held "hostage" the attraction flairs quickly but when her ex won't let them be and a crossed ex employee of his decide to cause trouble, Dean will stop at nothing to save the woman and the daughter he loves.
A read with action, some suspense, insta love, steamy scenes, brothers and a best friend who are a comic relief that will make you chuckle at times makes it a book worth it.
A great great collection that is so worth it !!!

I love that even though she came from money, she's determined to make her own way. And Reid as the single dad is just hot beyond words. When the terms of his grandfather's will come to light, Reid finds himself looking for the right woman to help, and realizes he didn't have to look that hard after all. Humorous and sexy, this book was an awesome read.

Single Dad's Virgin - This book was full length, and I loved the added details it provided. Both Liam and Aubrey felt that instant connection when they met, and while at first they may be just helping each other benefit mutually, it quickly became so much more. But add in bad exes into the mix, and their drama created trouble for the budding romance. Nicely written, funny at times, yet there were some solid scenes where the drama came in, and there was plenty of sexy heat as well.

Single Dad's Hostage - When Dean stepped into Camille's world, she had no idea it would end up with her being kidnapped, but in a good way. Dean's just trying to protect her from her abusive ex. Oh, and he also happens to need a fake fiancee! Despite the presence of a mean ex, there is still humor and wit in this steamy daddy romance. It was a great read with an entertaining story line!

I neither hate these stories nor love them.

Convict for Christmas was ridiculous. A reporter turned undercover snooper jumps into the bed of a convicted felon after being threatened with absolutely no protection and then they say I love you and they are a couple all within a few hours of meeting. No just no. Way too short to make this relationship anywhere near ok. And it’s not that fact that he was a convicted felon in the past, it’s that he was STILL a crook!! Wtf wants their dream man to be a bank robber?

Single Dad next door was cute but only so-so.
Single Dad’s Virgin had some really weird character decisions, like never reporting a break-in, continued harassment, and stalking until it became deadly...
Single Dad’s Hostage was so-so as well.

I liked most of the characters which is why I even gave the books three stars. Especially the characters in SDV (Roxanne was hilarious and Sophie was so sweet).

I have previously read and reviewed advance reader copies of two of the three books in this collection. My favorite, Single Dad's Hostage, has some really hot, hot sex, great characters (all of them!), a great story, some humor, and some action and suspense. Dean is an awesome hero (I am madly in love with him) and Camille, once free of her abusive ex, turns into a pretty decent heroine.

Single Dad Next Door is also a great read. It's an entertaining, funny, sexy romance. I loved Reid, Sandra, and adorable 4 year old Roman. This romance is sweet and steamy.

Since I haven't read Single Dad's Virgin, I can't comment except to say I have never been disappointed by Penelope Bloom. She is one of my favorite authors and this bundle is a great bargain.

Convict For Christmas - A Novelette

So far I've read "Convict For Christmas - A Novelette"... it's a be careful what you wish for story that involves an intern at a gossip magazine who comes into her own when faced with a challenge. I found it amusing that her interactions with Patrick in many ways seemed to be a reaction to the rest of her life, and not necessarily what was going on between them. (Someone else made her feel spineless, so she grew backbone in dealing with him... she never talked back to her boss, so she reacted by mouthing off to the stranger who couldn't fire her.)

Penelope Bloom has perfect gift for every reader of this collection. Interesting stories, although the first one does move along in a bit of a hurry, but still doesn’t disappoint. There is plenty of interesting dialogue between the main characters and even better sex scenes to fog up your screen. Keep those wonderful, sexy stories heading our way, Penelope Bloom!

The 3 previously published books are of course excellent. The 2 new novelettes were not great. Since I already own the original 3 stories, I'm glad I got this with KU. If you don't have the 3 full length books, I highly recommend this bundle.
