I loved this story. Landon and Ashley have been in love for most of their lives, but Ashley wants to follow her dreams and Landon wants to let her do that. Her dream puts her in the spot light and many miles away from Landon. It’s only supposed to be for one year, however, when he sees something in print that he believes, it ruins everything. She stays away for seven years and finally returns home to follow her real dream, to become Landon’s wife.
Landon’s hurt so bad from her betrayal, can he ever forgive her and give her the second chance she is asking for? Landon’s heart has never stopped loving Ashley, but he doesn’t know if he can forget the past seven years.
Ashley won’t give up on Landon, she knows the truth of what he saw in print, if he had only gone to see her and ask her, she could have saved them both the pain they have been enduring for the past seven years. Ashley has never wandered from her love and commitment to Landon, now she just has to get him to see that and believe her.
The characters in this story, one of the Kelly Elliott’s Wanted Kindle World stories is very well written and shows that love can withstand a lot, but it takes real commitment and forgiveness for two people to find their way back to each other after so many years apart. I think I need to read the other stories in the Wanted Kindle World to see which of the others in Another Round of Whiskey are in them. I enjoyed all of the characters in this book.

I was pulled right into this super short story. The story has secrets, laughs, and heartbreak.
If you have not read the below I would recommend reading them first if you want the full stories of the wanted series as these novellas take place in the same series:

Ashley and Landon are intense. Their loved burned brighter than a firework, but fizzled just as rapidly. Or did it? Another Round of Whiskey tells of a love that borders on obsession. Landon is the home town hero who lost his heart to the small town girl who had big city dreams. Seven years on and what seems like a lifetime ago, the girl with big dreams reemerges with a ton of baggage following closely at her heels and a never extinguished flame in her heart. Is it too late for these strangers in the night to find their way home? S. Moose does it all. She tempts with romance, hints at intrigue all while grabbing hold of your heart. My first read by this author is shaping up to be a tough act to follow.

Another Round or Whiskey is exactly what you love about S.Moose. She draws you in at first and as you hooked not wanting to stop till you find out what happens next.

Ashley and Landon are intense and their love burned super bright but soon that love burned out pretty rapidly. Or did it just burn down to a low flame, not to go completely out. Another Round of Whiskey tells the story of a 2nd chance at love between two people –one who thinks the love is worth saving and one who is just ready to call it a day. True love often comes at a high price and Landon was tired of supporting Ashley’s dream…he has had to wait 7 years and he gave up on her coming back to him years ago after she swore she would be back in just alittle while…that little while turned into 7 years. After seven years in a high profile life, Ashley comes home to claim the life she truly wants, but Landon is plumb done with Ashley and is ready to move on with finding some happiness without Ashley dominating his every thought. Ashley is a fighter and won't give up on her true love, she is ready for the fight of her life because she knows that they belong together, forever. This is a novella yet this felt like a full length novel. It is packed full of angst, young love, fear, heartbreak, anger, passion, and TRUE LOVE. This was one novella that packs a punch and I felt tons of emotions, tons of feelings- S Moose did a fabulous job of conveying the main characters thoughts and feelings. I highly recommend this story , you don’t want to miss this !!!

I absolutely love reading about Mason, Texas. That is where this book takes place in. It is a little town where alot goes on. This one is about Ashley and Landon and their second chance at love. This was a gripping book from the very beginning to the end. Landon (Whiskey) loves living in Mason. He has the love of his life and doesn't want to let her go. But love shows us that if you love them enough you can let them go and it will come back to you. But for Landon that is just not what happens until many years later. I absolutely loved Landon's character. He is so strong yet at the same time has a heart. A heart that he doesn't want broken again by the person that he believed he loved. Ashley just wanted to go after her dream. Wanted to live life and be happy. But hang on to Landon from afar. Will love be enough to bring these two back together? S.Moose blew me away again with this one. I have read a few by her and absolutely love this one. Highly recommend reading this one guarantee you will enjoy.

I swear, every novella in the Wanted world is phenomenal. Every one of these authors has outdone themselves with these amazing novellas, but Another Round Of Whiskey just may be my favorite. I loved Ashley and Landon beyond words! I on,y wish I could read slower just to make their story last longer. This is definitely going to be one I go back and read again and again.
Completely unique to most second chances, it’s not Landon who as to earn the love and trust of his woman back. It’s Ashley who needs to get back her man. I loved seeing a woman being the one making all the grand romantic gestures and fighting for their love. Ashley was strong, determined, and still head over heels in love with Landon. Their story was so sweet, but still filled with heartache. That heartache made it so much better though when his walls began to crumble down. I finished this book with tears of pure happiness for these two.

Perfect second chance romance!!
S. Moose has packed a huge amount of angst, Love, fear and second chances in this amazing novella. Separated after high school when Ashley leaves to pursue an modeling career. Even with promises to stay together decisions are made that not only ends the relationship but keeps Ashley away from Landon for seven years. Misunderstandings and anger not helping at all. Landon knows he needs to stay away from Ashley because he’ll never survive her abandonment again even if she says she home to stay.
Ashley’s determination to win Landon back isn’t going to be easy. She just needs him to remember the good times and hopefully forgive her at some point.
I definitely enjoyed this book and am eager to read the rest of the books in the book.

Another Round Of Whiskey is the third novella I have read in Kelly Elliott’s Wanted Kindle World.
I have to be honest and say that I did enjoy this story, but it isn’t my favorite of the ones I have read so far. I didn’t feel the connection to the Wanted Series like I have with the other reads. I think my biggest thing was that I didn’t feel that swoony cowboy connection with Landon.
I really had a hard time liking Landon for most of the read. I understood where he was coming from and why he was hurt and it was hard for him to trust Ashley, but his character really made it hard for me to like him. And when he finally did turn around it was already too late for me.
Now don’t get me wrong I did enjoy this story and I thought it was a good second chance romance. I also thought it is a good addition to this Kindle World. Just because I didn’t love it doesn’t mean others won’t. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a second chance romance or if you are a fan of S Moose’s books.
Like I said this is a standalone second chance romance between Landon and Ashley. Landon and Ashley have known each other their entire life and have been dating for many years, when Ashley decides she wants to follow her dreams and go to NYC and become famous. Landon being the supportive boyfriend tells her to follow her dreams and that he will be here waiting for her when she comes back. Fast forward 7 years and Ashley is back and determined to win back Landon’s heart and trust. Will Landon be able to forgive Ashley?? Can they get their HEA after all this time?? Read this angst and drama filled romance to get those answers.
I did really enjoy seeing how Gunner, Jeff, Ellie and Ari played into this story. It’s always nice reconnecting with past characters. No you don’t have to read the Wanted Series to enjoy this story.
If you are a fan of an angst filled second chance romance then this a story you should read!!

If you love second chance romances then this is the book for you. Its a Novella so its short, sweet, sexy, intense and has so much emotion packed into this small punch you will be addicted! Throw in some of my favourites from Kelly Elliotts Wanted series along with S Moose's brilliant writing and I am in heaven!!
She has packed in angst, love, fear, heartbreak, passion, healing and true love in such a short Novella. I literally devoured this in one sitting in my lunch break. The emotions felt raw and real and omg you will so root for Landon to give Ashley as second chance (although I do think she should have worked hard for it) I simply loved Landon! he will make you swoon big time and require new panties.

“Another Round of Whiskey” by S. Moose is part of the Kelly Elliott's Kindle World for her Wanted Series and I loved it. “Another Round” is the story of Landon and Ashley. Ashley and Mason have been together for years and she leaves Mason, Texas to pursue her dream of becoming a model, in NYC. When she leaves she vows to come back to him.
Forward seven years later and we learn that they have broken up due to a misunderstanding, but deeply care for one another. Landon is still heartbroken and angry when Ashley tries to win him back. The tables are turned, as Ashley is the one who has to earn his trust.

S. Moose never fails to deliver a story full of emotion. This novella is no exception. Landon and Ashley are the quintessential small town couple, until Ashley goes away to the big city to persue her dreams, and Landon stays home to prepare for their future. High school sweethearts, they are pulled apart by time, distance, and miscommunication. Hurt feelings and fear keep them apart.
Landon wears his heart on his sleeve. He loves Ashley more than anything, but is very resistant to forgiving her. But Ashley is stubborn and persistant.
This was a great intro to the Wanted series, even though, as with all Kindle world novellas, it takes place on the edges of that world. I totally enjoyed this story, and can't wait to dive into the rest of the Wanted Kindle World!

I am a huge fan of the Wanted series, so I was beyond excited to read more about all the lovable characters from good ole Mason, Texas!
Ashley and Landon aka "Whiskey" fell in love as kids, and their love for one another only grew stronger over the years. That is, until life got in the way. Mistakes were made and hearts were broken. Is the saying "True love never dies" really true? Is it possible for two people to overcome past hurts and disappointments and learn to trust again?
I really loved this novella! The story flowed effortlessly, and the characters were just great! Man, that Whiskey sure knows how to make a girl swoon! I think every woman needs a sexy, southern gentleman like him!

I loved Ashley's and Landon's story, S. Moose's story fits well into the Wanted Kindle World. True love often comes at a high price and supporting Ashley's dream wasn't supposed to cost him his heart. After seven years in a high profile life, Ashley comes home to claim the life she truly wants, but finds the love of her life wants nothing to do with her. Broken by their time apart, Landon has tried to move on and found it difficult. Instead he has put his effort into his ranch and the dream he has for it. Although a novella, Ms. Moose packs a lot of action and emotion into Landon and Ashley's story. It's a beautiful story of lost love, heartbreak, friendship and redemption.

Second Chance Love Worth Fighting For
I so enjoyed getting to know Ashley and Landon. They were childhood sweethearts, nothing could come between them or so they thought when Ashley moves to New York to follow her dreams with Landon blessings, they never thought that their lives would be turned upside down. Now 7 years later Ashley is back and she wants what her and Landon had, but will he give her the second chance she desperately wants. Is he willing to put his heart on the line again or will he finally let go of what they use to be and move one. Wow this was a story that kept me 📚 reading. Awesome

Now 7 years later Ashley is back and she wants what her and Landon had, but will he give her the second chance she desperately wants. Is he willing to put his heart on the line again or will he finally let go of what they use to be and move one. Wow this was a story that kept me 📚 reading. Awesome

I was drawn to this story as it was a second chance. While I liked the story, I really didn't care for the characters. Even after returning home, I found Ashley to still be selfish and Landon a bit of a wimp. I did enjoy the way it wrapped up.
Ashley and Landon have loved each other for years, but Ashley has dreams and Landon wants her to live them, never imaging how things would go. Ashley admits to being selfish but still doesn't come home for 7 years!! Landon has been fulfilling some of his own dreams but the heart of it is missing until she comes home....but can he let her back in, can he trust her with his heart?

WOW!!!
In this book we Meet Ashley Monroe. She has big dreams that she wants to go and try to make come true. BUT she has to leave Mason and go to New York. She has an amazing and supportive boyfriend Landon Fisher, he's wonderful and he insists things will be fine. UNTIl they aren't
Now 7 years later Ashley is back in Mason. Everything seems the same only their not. Things are very different. Landon is still tall dark and handsome. But he's full of anger and hurt. Does Ashley win him back.....You'll have to read the book to find out. Trust me it's worth it

Here we are Another round of Whiskey part of the Wanted Kindle world. I was so excited to be back in Mason with some old characters but finding new ones in Another round of Whiskey we meet Landon and Ashley. Ashley who leaves Mason to pursue her dreams in New York leaves Landon behind in Mason with the promise that they would stay together. But as we all know things don’t go to plan and they split. Years later Ashley returns this is a sweet second chance romance novella that I loved and had a very sweet feel to it.

Seven years later and they both are heartbroken, but Ashley is now back in Mason and ready to claim her man.
I loved loved loved Landon. Ashley not so much. She is pretty selfish and didn't have a great reason for the way she acted and choices she made.
I loved the other characters as well, but Ashley is def the one that left me unsure.

Second Chances
I love when people get a second chance , whether at life or in love and there's a little of both in Landon and Ashley's story. After a scare, Ashley got a second chance at life and realized what she thought was important really wasn't but instead home was where her heart truly was. Because of her second chance at life,she got a second chance for love as well. Landon...such a sweetheart!! Swoon worthy for sure. They went through he'll and back but ended up stronger than before!!

Another Round of Whiskey is a second chance love story between Landon and his childhood sweetheart Ashley. Ashley has returned to her small town after following her dreams as a model for seven years. This story was sweet and Landon’s character was fantastic. I found Ashley to be a little spoiled though. I felt like she kept saying she was going to try harder but she never really did. I loved how the story ended but her character just bugged me a bit. Overall, well worth the read!

Amazing story of second chances! After 7 long years Ashley returns in hopes of being with her one true love, Landon. She left him behind to pursue modeling in NYC. But bright lights and contracts swept her up and tore them apart. She’s back and has her sights set on making Landon listen and give her a chance. They have a very windy road to travel, but by the end it’s definitely worth it. Loving these little novellas that spun off of my favorite Wanted series!

Sometimes you have to let someone go and hope they come back to you. That's exactly what Landon does but it takes Ashley 7 years to come home. But once she is there's no stopping her from getting her Whiskey.

5 WHISKEY STARS!! Wow, this heartfelt novella reads like a full story the author left nothing out. This story will pull on your heartstrings and hit all your emotions buttons. Landon and Ashley get a second chance, but they need to for let go and trust again. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
