Good thriller.

US and Chinese relationship, harsh sections put on China. They are selling US bonds, dollar is in free fall, civil unrest in U.S. and China. Elite taskforce Lacy pulled into trying to stop world war three. Deception deeply entrenched in Washington, makes their job harder. Elite force don't know who to trust.

FIRST TARGET by Robin Mahle a Lacy Merrick thriller
Griener, use to be a government contractor. Agents surround him at the Chinese Embassy, informing him what he has to do. China said it had been an act of renegade, it wasn't. Merrick is now part of the president's covert task force unit, she and president knew better. A promise to Jay still to be fulfilled. Merrick and the team had been deceived again, how would this be leverage against the president.
What companies and people were involved in this conspiracy between China and US . Robin gives us a plot, that has a depth of high political figures, and doesn't stop till the end. Readers will be engrossed in this till the final page. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.

Be careful who you elect to be the leaders of your country!!!

This was a very good read. I enjoyed it very much. Being book 3 in this series though, it is necessary that you read this series in order, beginning with book 1 onward, in order to gain continuity with the story and the characters involved. It was full of mystery, surprises, and suspense and I highly recommend it to persons who enjoy reading this type of book. Gave it 5 stars because it was a wonderful, entertaining book.

What a brilliant read.
I hadn´t read the other books in the series but still managed to thoroughly enjoy this as a standalone. What a great spy thriller. I found it hard to put the book down. Wonderful characters and the story kept me on the edge of my seat until the very end.

One of the best spy thrillers i have had the pleasure to read. Well recommend this to one and all.

Lacy and the gang are back at it again in this political/spy thriller. They find out once again that things aren't always what they seem and it's often hard to tell friend from foe. Loyalties are tested and trust flies out the window. A couple of new faces make good additions to the team. Good read.

For those who want to know: This one has language and violence.
