MY BLIND DATE IS A HITMAN. AND HE JUST PUT A BABY IN MY BELLY. It all started with a lie. I’m terrified of how it’s going to end. Because I let myself fall for the hitman… And now I’m pregnant with his baby.
LILY
He said he was my blind date. I guess I just wanted to believe him. He was tall, dark, handsome – and dangerous.
So I let him take me to bed.
But the best night of my life turned into the worst morning. Because Roman is gone… But he left his baby in my belly.
ROMAN
A gorgeous girl alone at a bar? I’ll be whoever she wants me to be. It’s not the first time I’ve lied. And it sure as hell won’t be the last.
Because lies are my profession. I hurt. I torture. I kill. Compared to all that, lying is the nicest thing I do.
Lily doesn’t have to know all that, of course. After all, she’ll only know me for a night. I plan to disappear as soon as the sun’s up, never to be seen again.
But when I end up on her operating table a month later with a bullet in my shoulder, I realize what I left behind with her.
From now on, I won’t let her out of my sight. She belongs to me now.
HITMAN'S SURPRISE BABY is a full-length, standalone, bad boy baby mafia heist romance. Includes additional bonus content so you can keep on reading 'til you've had your fill of hot sex, thrilling action, and HEAs that will melt your heart!
Lily believed the man she went to bed with was her blind date, he was not. Roman saw Lily and wanted one night with her, he knew there could never be more than that given his profession. A month later he sees Lily again and she is pregnant with his baby. Chasing after a monster, he knows Lily will become a target and he plans to protect her but when she finds out what he does for a living will she run or stay?
This was good but a bit angsty at times. I liked Roman but was a bit puzzled by his plans to protect Lily. If your looking for something light to read one to pick up.
Three reasonable length stories about unplanned pregnancies with alpha males, first a hit man and the other two bikers. All ok stories, easy to follow with good characters and dialogue. The characters are the usual alpha male saving the damsel in distress, who wouldn't be in distress in the first place if it wasn't for their run one with these males. The author sets up strong female leads who have a moral compass but always compromise their integrity by falling for the wrong men. Yes there's chemistry but they have a child to consider and in order for it to be believable I would perhaps have the female characters question in greater detail whether staying with these dangerous violent men who are involved with crime, once they knew they are pregnant. Would you want an innocent child around that lifestyle, the answer is no. They are worth a look of you want simple alpha males who pull innocent women into their dark violent worlds.
Lily is a nurse in Las Vegas. Her friend Carol talks her into a blind date with someone named Sam. When she gets to the restaurant ahead of time she is nervous and apprehensive. There is a man coming towards her who is drop dead gorgeous. Lily jumps up and runs to him to shake his hand as she greets him with Hi, I am Lily, and you are Sam. He looks at her and says okay. They sit down and “Sam” can’t take his eyes off her. They talk and he asks if she is up to them getting a room there at the restaurant? She is mesmerised with him and out of the blue she agrees. There is chemistry between them and the night goes wild between them. It was a great book and the chemistry was off the wall between them. It had me giggling in a few places but you need to read the book to appreciate Kathryn Thomas’s writing. She is brilliant
I absolutely loved this book. The storyline was exciting and very entertaining, with a mixture of danger violence, action and romance. The characters were an intriguing blend of light and dark, Roman been a hitman and Lily a nurse. I loved both characters alot and although they were different kinds of people, I think they both bought something interesting to the story. I especially liked the way this author introduced the two characters to each other, it was amusing and really clever. So overall, a very enjoyable and captivating read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
“Hitman's Surprise Baby” is different from Kathryn's usual MC stories but just as captivating. As usual Kathryn's book is well-developed with interesting characters. Lily a nurse is stood up by her blind date. Roman sees her and pretends to be that date. After one night of amazing sex, Roman intends on never seeing her again but a month later he ends up on the operating table with a gunshot wound. Guess who his nurse is? From this page forward the story is filled with intrigue, action, danger, suspense, lust and love. Another must read by Kathryn Thomas. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
I could not finish this book. At. All. 😭 lmao. I like the premise and I like the idea. The execution, not so much. I will include my two favorite lines that helped me reach the decision that my poor brain could not continue. 1. “He thrusted his c__k, which felt like a ball. A ball of pain. A ball of pleasure, of pain-pleasure.” ..... IDK what you’re sleeping with but GIRL if it feels like just one big ball I would dip. 2. “His c__k, which was way, way bigger than my p___y” ... akekekekeke WHAT? Without the weird phrases, run on sentences, and incomplete thoughts, I would have potentially been able to go further. I guess we’ll never know 🤣
Lily, a nurse, meets Roman when he pretends to be her blind date. After a great night together, he leaves without a word. Then meet again a month later when he ends up being her patient after he gets shot. Lots of drama, action and chemistry. Great read! I voluntarily read an ARC copy for my honest review.
Another amazing story from Kathryn Thomas a mafia romance that is definitely worth reading no spoilers but I couldn't put it down till I finished worth more than five stars I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.
This was filled with non stop adventure. The characters were complex and interesting. I felt for Lily and her situation because she fell into this by accident. At times I didn't like Roman because he was to cocky and it ended up being his down fall.
This book was ok for me. The premise was interesting, the story line and flow was pretty good. But I just didn't feel a connection between the two main characters. I knew they had a physical attraction, and then they had a baby that connected them, and there was the one aspect of their past they share. But I didn't see anything else. I never knew what Lily saw in Roman other than him being attractive and helping her indulge in her wild night. I never really understood Roman's interest in Lily other than physical and then the baby. Anything else they felt I didn't understand what it was based on and it seem more like I was told they felt something for each other rather than really saw/read about any real connection when reading the story. I wanted to read about these characters falling in love. But I don't think I ever really got that and so it put a damper on the book for me.
