Tori Bellows is a really good friend. She's always there when a shoulder is needed to cry on, to give dating advice, or for a good ol' time. Now, though, Tori is the one who needs a shoulder to lean on when she's in a tough spot. But all of her friends are too busy with their own lives.

Enter the Twin Estates' resident bad boy, Landon Edenhoff. When he offers her an all expenses paid vacation, she's immediately suspicious - he's rarely nice and his intentions are never good. Crazy woman from a remote location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity!), I have been writing since ... forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up.

I also write contemporary romance under the name Penny Sixsmith

description~WRITING - PLOT - PACE~
So after choosing to skip the previous book in this series (I wasn't a huge Liam fan after the second book), I was a bit on the fence about whether I wanted to read about Landon. The guy was a bit of a douche (and he pretty much remained a douche in this book as well). But I had seen a few early reviews that spoke positively about it and the synopsis intrigued me. Plus, I was in the mood for an angsty a$$hole hero read. I was not disappointed. In fact, this book was my favorite of the entire series. The writing was fantastic. The pace was very good. The plot was engaging. It was angsty. It was heartbreaking. It made me laugh. It made me angry. It made me cry. Last, it was all wrapped up in a really great ending <-- maybe a series ending??

~HERO~
LANDON...OMG was this guy an a$$hole of epic proportions. Like just SO seriously douchy. He was a manwhore (although after getting with Tori he didn't sleep with anyone else). He was a drug addict. He drank too much. His good decision making abilities were subpar (lol). Other than being super f-cking HOT in bed I often wondered what Tori saw in him. But in between all that a$$hole was a sweet and vulnerable man. He grew up. He took responsibility for his actions. He got help. So, in the end, I LOVED him.

~HEROINE~
TORI...I ADORED Tori. I straight up LOVED this girl. She was feisty. She was funny. She was smart. She gave as good as she got. I loved how she called Landon on his shit. When certain truths come to light my heart shattered for her. But I love how she picked up the pieces of her life and moved on. She was a great heroine for sure.

description

~SECONDARY CHARACTERS~
Honestly, this one was pretty light on secondary characters. We get some appearances of people from the previous books, and I was kind of intrigued by Velez. He was a "friend" of Landon's who I'd love to read more about. Other than those people the story was mainly focused on Landon and Tori.

~HEAT LEVEL~
Medium. There were some SMOKIN' HOT sex scenes in this one. Landon had the dirtiest of mouths and I wanted to read more of it (lol). The frequently felt right for the story and the couple had sizzling on page chemistry.

~ANGST LEVEL~High. This was a pretty angsty read. Like I mentioned the hero was a major douche and did things that hurt the heroine. Neither were virgins. There is a bit of OW drama as Landon hits on some other women and brings one to his room to do drugs (and I assume have sex). He gets interrupted before any clothes come off. <-- this is before they have the "only us together talk" so I wasn't overly bothered by it. The heroine chats up OM, but just in a friendly manner. At the very beginning, the heroine starts

~IN THE END~
Surprisingly I LOVED it. It was the perfect read for the angsty book reading mood I was in. Well written. Engaging plot. Interesting, damaged, and well developed characters. What more can you ask for? Therefore yours truly is going to give this one two HUGE thumbs up.description

The man was trouble. Always would be. He was vice and sin wrapped into a ridiculously sexy package, with a healthy sprinkling of damaged-dickhead on top.

If you follow my reviews or know me even a little, you probably already know my love for a good alphahole? And Landon Edenhoff is in a category all of his own. This man was the alphahole to beat all alphaholes, and he makes no qualms about it. He owns it. He knows it. He even enjoys it.
Stupid girl,” he breathed. “Don't you know I'll break you?”
“Yes,” she whispered back. “But maybe breaking me will help you fix yourself.”
“And you would offer yourself?”
“I would.”

First of all, I'm seriously kicking myself for not reading a Stylo Fantome book sooner. Because if this book is anything to go by, I already know I'll be obsessed. And yes, judgy mcjudgerson, I did start this series with book 4. And you know what else? I'm not even sorry! While there is a clear backstory between all the secondary characters, I had no problem getting fully immersed in their world.

Tori Bellows has been lusting after her boss for way too long. She's seen friend after friend settle down, and yearns for a HEA of her own. The problem is that her boss is now in love with someone that's not her, and her drunken endeavor to finally tell him how she feels lands her in bed with his twin brother instead.

The only thing that Landon and Liam have in common is their face. Landon is rude, crude, and the epitome of a bad boy. He's borderline criminal, actually. And if his sex appeal is anything to judge by, he should be arrested. He's the exact opposite of the man that Tori should get involved with, but the raw sexual chemistry between them is just too powerful to resist.
So fucking wet,” he grunted as he moved so he was kneeling between her legs. “You're a mess, dirty girl. I don't know if you deserve this dick.”
“Maybe not,” she gasped. “But I want it.”
“How bad?”
“I think you can feel how bad,” she laughed.
His hand moved off her chest and clamped down over her mouth. “I didn't ask you to make a fucking joke,” he growled. “I asked you to fucking beg for my cock.”

Both Tori and Landon are incredibly multilayered characters that I couldn't get enough of. Watching the development and growth of Landon was one of the most satisfying things about this book for me. I loved watching him falling harder and harder for Tori, even when he does his best to resist. He doesn't make excuses for himself, but beneath the demons on his forefront is the heart of a man that is desperate for redemption.
He was still, and probably always would be, a bad guy. But just maybe he wasn't the worst guy.

There's a gritty and dark undercurrent to this story that I enjoyed immensely. The progression of the characters and their relationship felt incredibly real and oh so satisfying. I loved that Tori gave as hard as she got, and was never hesitant to put Landon in his place. I loved watching Landon soften, ever so slightly, with his feelings for Tori.
I'm always gonna be an asshole,” he warned her. “But for you ... for you, I'll try to be a good guy.”

Neighborhood Watch was a deliciously sexy and utterly riveting story from beginning to end. It may have been my first book by this author, but it most definitely won't be my last. I plan on binging on her entire backlist. If you like bad boys and watching them fall for sassy women that give as good as they get all wrapped around a gritty and addicting story, this book is simply not to be missed!

“Like an explosion”

“Neighborhood Watch” is the final book, in Styol Fantôme’s “Twin Estates” series and quite frankly my favorite. This reads more like a romantic suspense with a bad, bad boy who needs to come to terms with his bad boy ways before every good thing in life passes by him. Our heroine, Tori, running from a broken heart over her infatuation with his twin brother, Liam collides with this bad boy.

We meet Landon at his worst when Tori in a drunken stupor decides to seduce Liam in one last act of desperation. She is…in actuality…seducing Landon, but he doesn’t mention that fact and goes along with the free meal (so-to-speak) placed before him. Tori realizes all too soon that it is indeed Landon who is the object of her attentions. It’s mysterious but then again…perhaps fated… that she continues with the hot and dirty sex until the end. She doesn’t even like him. This entire scene was an epic anger bang (20 or so kindle pages)!!! A rousing start to an interesting tale.

Landon is the brilliant medical doctor who volunteers his time to international charity organizations such as Doctors without Borders. He is also the long-term drug addict that lost his job practicing medicine because of said drug habit. He is a complete asshole manwhore when it comes to women. He is bored with his current circumstances and looking for a distraction… “an explosion” in his life. He sets about planning to engage in some truly nefarious activities centered around his drug habit and his volunteer medical work in Thailand just for pure excitement. Because of an impulse, he invited Tori to go to Bali for a week where his adventure would begin.

Tori even dyed her blonde trying to shake up her life. The out-of-the-blue invitation from Landon to go to Bali seemed like just the thing to jump start her in her quest. She is beautiful and capable. She may not be as brilliant as Landon but she is a no nonsense organizer and natural leader. Feeling discarded and put on the shelf time and time again, she is looking to reclaim her self-worth, value and even her purpose in life.

The story takes us from the beautiful shores of Bali to the frontlines of disease and poverty in the third world. Landon finds his irritation growing at the attention Tori seems to attract from other men. He begins to realize just how special and unique Tori is and that his attraction for her has him thinking about changing his ways. She really proves her mettle when she conquers her natural revulsion and fear in the camp treating the village with an outbreak of cholera by making herself useful to Landon as he ministers to the sick and dying. She sets about organizing the staff and supplies and finding a routine which proves invaluable to the mission.

Landon and Tori eventually find themselves in love but bad decisions on the part of the drug addict in Landon and this nefarious world come to haunt him and rip Tori right from his grasp. He pays a terrible price physically for these bad decisions.
At his most helpless, he reevaluates everything in his life. He returns to the US and eventually sees Tori to tell her that once and for all, he is committing to intensive rehab. Still there is no happy ending because wisely Tori does not want to be the “prize” for Landon’s long road back to himself.

Can these two come together? Is their love strong enough to forge a bond that includes wholeness of person along with the wildness of their shared passion? Did Landon realize far too late that the “explosion” in his life that he was looking for was right there waiting for him in the “Twin Estates”.

I didn't deserve you, but I'm thankful everyday for you. I couldn't do any of this without you, I wouldn't even want to. But knowing you exist somewhere out there, that you're walking around and breathing and smiling, it makes every moment in here worth it. Thank you for making me a better man. Landon

“You almost sound sweet when you beg,”

Landon & Tori forever.
Ok so I wasn’t quite sure how I would feel about this one, because in the other books Tori was just the loyal, fun, and a little ditzy friend, and Landon was like this evil addict troll. Well they were those things in this book too, but that was just their surface layer. Tori has a broken heart, and Landon is just plain broken. These two were both in a bad way in this story, and they escaped in each other. That being said they surprisingly found each other in their escape.

They are hot. They are mean. They are exactly what each other needs. This story isn’t all rainbows and ponies though. Landon screws up. He screws up big. It’s just whether or not Tori will forgive him. I guess you’ll have to read and see!!

5 Explosive Stars

#HotDiggityDog.......This book was #Fanfreakingtastic!! Page by page, the fast paced, sexy, quick witted, action packed story of Landon Edenhoff and Tori Bellows wouldn’t let me go. These two broken souls who didn’t mean to find each other, in fact, do find each other in this Explosive, Beautiful, Emotional Love Story.

Tori Bellows......the fun girl, the best friend girl, the girl who is there for everyone, the girl who never gets the guy girl, has had it. When presented with the opportunity of a lifetime she takes it and decides to just live in the moment. Landon Edenhoff.......the doctor, the bad twin, the one that is in trouble all the time, has also had it and is leaving the country. When he invites Tori to come along after they hook up, Tori knows it’s a bad idea but thinks -how could anything get worse?? Well how about.......EXPLOSIVE!!!!

Tori and Landon are both messy and broken but together they are whole. They are each witty, sexy, lonely, and in need of someone. So while they each have an ulterior motive when they go on vacation together, they begin to see each other’s real self. It is funny at times, poignant at times, crazy fun at times, and super sexy at times. It’s a story that is #UnPutDownable!!!

Landon is a bad boy extraordinaire. He can be nasty, mean, and insensitive, yet he can also be vulnerable, sensitive and sweet. He has so many flaws but learning why he is as he is makes him extremely lovable. Tori is amazing. She is strong, loyal and loving yet she’s vulnerable, sensitive and tired of being the lonely one. These two also have incredible banter. Whether it’s fighting, being friends or being intimate, these two keep the story fast paced and explosive. From San Francisco to Bali to Thailand and eventually back to San Francisco, there is never a dull moment. But there are those moments of getting to really know each other, falling for each other and eventually loving each other. But as these two are messy, nothing is easy. Just buckle your seat belts and get ready to go on an epic journey.

The Twin Estates series is one of my all time favorites. Stylo Fantôme is an author who writes with heart and soul, along with sexy mischievous fun. Hero’s and heroines that are endearing and flawed. Landon and Tori are another couple in a long-list of wonderful couple’s written by this author. But I must confess, these two are a new favorite.

If you are a Stylo fan, then this book will knock your socks off. It does not disappoint, it’s definitely a new favorite of the series. If you aren’t yet a Stylo fan, I implore you to pick up a book by this author. Her writing is spectacular, her storytelling is incredible, her banter between character is always spot on and she writes scintillating sexy scenes. Neighborhood Watch has all those things and more!! #MustRead #TeamToriAndLandon #LovedLoved

One of those Rare-breed of authors who gives us genuine Bestsellers back-to-back and one of those rare series where every book is BETTER THAN THE LAST!!!! You'd think Wulfric Stone had hot sex with Katya on the piano, or "Hot Surfer" Liam EdenHoff had sheetrock indenting sex with Ayumi Nakada with his dick big enough to be filed as dependant on his taxes , you'd think...ok ! Who could top that ?🤔
But Stylo shoves Dr. Landon EdenHoff in the mix and My-Oh-My, I'd seriously walk to Bali for him. We'd be Lovers-without-borders or something😍
Landon is a couch occupier in Liam's house, having lost his practice and direction in life, and he bumps into broken hearted Tori Bellows. She's nursing a broken heart and misplaced crush leads to mistaken identities and they have one of those explosive sex encounters, you read only in books, where you pull a guys hair and yell his name loud enough that people on the other continent can hear. yeah...that kind of explosive, passionate sex, that leaves her begging for more. But there's one HUGE problem.
Landon is an ASSHOLE !

He's obnoxious, rude and plain awful. He couldn't be MORE different from his twin, Liam.
Landon was the brains to Liam's heart – he was an actual doctor, a certified cardiologist or some shit. Unfortunately, he was also a chain smoking, vodka chugging, coke addict.
But he has this soft, throaty, authoritative voice that zaps her vagg.
Like Pavlov's bell to her libido.
And their coming together is like, when a volcano erupts in Iceland and the flights all over the world are disrupted. Meaning the world stands still when they boink. Like the Balcony Scene !! Omg!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Landon is dangerously sexy and lives on the edge, pulling her with him, all it'll take is one shove and they'll be over the precipice....or the railing, in this case. She thinks he's Perfect EdenHoff Gene carrying Adonis and they belong together .
And he thinks “I think we're hot and horny and you're ridiculously good at giving head.” yup, that's our Lovable Asshole Awright! Awright! Awright!
How....when....where...why would they end up together ?
He was a doctor, she worked in a sex club. He'd been valedictorian, she'd shown up late to her own graduation. He was now thirty-three, she was barely twenty-five. Would he really want to be with someone like her?

But Stylo works her magic, sticks them together and walks them all over the world from luxurious Bali to Miserable Thailand and back to San Francisco . On this journey with them, we get a glimpse of golden heart hiding deeeeeeeeeeeeep inside the scared soul of Landon.

And their story is just P.E.R.F.E.C.T.
So completely not perfect that it's like an accident. Like an act of nature. Like an explosion.

I think this book is THE BEST OF THE LOT! In SHOUTY CAPITALS! Can you please keep going Stylo, give Brighton a book, Brie a book, hell give the entire building their books, cause I don't want this fantastic series to end.
Get the book, get the series, read them back to back and YOU'RE WELCOME!🤗

“I can’t ruin this. If I do, then I’m beyond saving.”

Oh, how I’ve waited for the day that Twin Estates’ resident bad boy, Landon Edenhoff gets his happily ever after. NEIGHBORHOOD WATCH, book #4 in Stylo Fantôme’s Twin Estates series is here and I couldn’t have imagined a better ending for one of my favorite characters. I think it’s safe to read as a standalone, but I’ll warn you, there might be a more emotional pay-off if you read the previous books first. Somehow, it feels like it’s all been leading up to this and I would be remised if I didn’t tell you my true thoughts on the reading order. Especially if you’re an emotional reader like myself.

I’ll be honest with you. Landon Edenhoff is NOT the kind of character that you fall in love with right off the bat. I mean, I wanted to punch his gorgeous face on MULTIPLE OCCASIONS. Trust me, you’ll know what I mean once you dive in. Tori Bellows is a lot to take as well, but instead of punching her in the face, I wanted to hold her so tight and tell her she is worth SO MUCH MORE! So, we have two flawed, broken characters. One wants only to be loved and the other doesn’t even know what that means. Circumstance and opportunity arise, Tori and Landon find themselves growing closer, getting under each other’s skin and breaking down carefully crafted emotional walls. Their journey is not an easy one…far from it actually, but it isn’t less beautiful and touching. I cried on several occasions. I cursed on even more. But this ending…this well-deserved, hard-fought ending was SO worth the heartache and the wait.

Stylo Fantôme, once again, gives us an AMAZING, well-written, heavily emotional addition to one of my FAVORITE SERIES!

Stylo Fantome definitely saved the best for this 4th book in the Twin Estates series. I could not stop compulsively reading this book and now it’s Sunday and I’m wondering where Saturday went?! I loved getting so sucked into a story that I have no sense of time or where I am.

Tori has been a part of this series from the beginning, she is best friends with Katya and works for Liam. She has also been in love with Liam for a very long time and when she finally has the balls to do something about it, it does not go well.

Landon Edenhoff is Liam’s twin brother. He is the ‘disappointment’ of the family. He is moody, arrogant and can be a complete arsehole. Just the kind of guy that girls who are looking to hook up to forget someone else go for. Bad boys seem to have no shortage of female admirers who leave their beds with nothing but regret to show for it.

‘The man was trouble. Always would be. He was vice and sin wrapped into a ridiculously sexy package, with a healthy sprinkling of damaged-dickhead on top.’

When Tori mistakes Landon for Liam things get very hot and interesting, a night neither of them forget. Tori is still struggling with her feelings for Liam and is trying to move forward with small changes in her life. When Landon makes her an out of the blue offer she nearly says no but in an effort to live more in the moment she says yes and thus begins the biggest adventure of her life.

'The whole situation was completely fucking terrifying, but ... This is so fucking exciting.'

Tori finds herself throwing all caution to the wind, lying to her friends and doing wild things with the sexy Landon. She experiences things that she had never dreamed of and their time together brings them closer to each other. Tori has a very tough skin and Landon is realising that he may have just met his match. He finds himself sharing things with her that he has never shared with anyone before. He has no idea how or why but this girl is burrowing her way into him.

'And just like that, I'm in a million pieces. Where's this girl been all my life?'

Landon has demons that plague him, keeping him awake most nights. He is a hard guy to like, in fact there were many moments in this story where I just didn’t like him at all. There was one scene when I said ‘what a fucking arsehole’ out loud but I also believe that there is always a reason for dickhead behaviour so I had hopes that he would eventually redeem himself

Tori really had no idea what she was in for when she took Landon’s hand and leapt. And my god, does she have an experience, a lot of it was exciting but there were moments of sheer terror. Her quiet life at the Twin Estates doesn’t seem so boring after what she goes through with Landon.

This was an exciting, exhilarating tale. It was hot and sexy one moment and nail biting the next. A fantastic reading experience that reinforced my love of Stylo’s writing and why I love to read.

‘I really don’t deserve you, but… I’m so fucking thankful for you. You saved me, Tor. I didn’t even know I was dying, and you brought me back to life.

Good book! I love the series, the writing style is great too!

I didn't enjoy this as much as book three.
Out of the whole series I like book three the best.

But yeah I absolutely love Landon and Tori together 💕

5 "This is a bad idea." Stars

Best of the series without a doubt they just keep getting better; Stylo Fantome hit it out of the park with Neighborhood Watch. She's given readers the perfect blend of lovable anti-hero and his feisty, accepting heroine. Her words jump from the pages into your reading heart thanks to her excellent writing. This book gets back to classic Fantome storytelling - it's darker, edgier than the previous books of this series setting it a bit apart. The story entertains from beginning to end ranging from sexy to angry to sweet and everything in between. I've fallen hard for these characters and the journey of self-awareness, fulfillment, and adventure in which they allowed me to take part.

"Don't go looking for rainbows where there aren't any."

Both Landon and Tori need a change for what they believe are very different reasons. Neither had any idea that what they really needed was each other to facilitate those changes, to make each other stronger. The way Fantome has crafted their identities in the first books of the series provides such alluring back up to how their stories play out when they are at the center. As fans of the series what you expect from these two is definitely what you get but the exciting part of seeing these two as main characters is that some unexpected lurks around every corner of their adventure, their passion and their emotions.

"And you would offer yourself?"

How far these two are willing to go for that unbridled passion makes this whole book too. So much of Landon and Tori's unique individualism's comes from their vulnerabilities. They aren't scared of anything yet both crave something so strong that those vulnerabilities shine. I love how they mesh together and understand each other on a primal level. I love how they banter. I love their conversations. And I love the hardships they face to really see each other clearly.

"I love it when you call me doctor."

Stylo Fantome has shown in this book how much she truly understands her characters, what they need, and how they go about getting it. I'm elated about Landon and Tori's story. Fantome's unique flair for storytelling, the way her writing consumes completely, her gift at creating lasting heroes and perfect heroines makes this story fresh, exciting, and a dream for romance readers. There's no shortage of action, never a dull moment, HOT scenes you don't want to miss, and two people you'll fall head over heels in love with. Don't miss this book. Landon and Tori are the best ones yet.

2nd Read - April 2020 - I love this bad boy doctor and the fiesty heroine who brings him to his knees. An excellent re-read as I forgot how much I loved these two characters and their bat-shit crazy romance story.

3rd time - June 2025 - I love Landon and Tori the same as I did 7 years ago.

Tori and Landon's story.
Alpha Male Alert! Where are the alpha females? I was hopeful with Tori in this sense, but the magic is gone with their first sexual encounter. She can't help herself anymore because Lan is too irresistible. Lan also mutually admires her a lot, so I guess I just need to let it be and take it with what it is.

Stylo added some action-drama to this one, so it was a bit different from the rest of the series.
Dramaaa! And it is a soap opera kind, not that I complain...

Even though they ended up happily together, I don't think they would ever have a healthy relationship. Yes, they are a match. Yes, they love each other. I am just thinking, not forever. On-again, off-again, on-again... Unfortunately, either side may become violent (either physical or verbal) at some in the future. It is so sad, but that's how I feel. I mean, I liked them. I feel really sorry for Landon (his addiction and all). He's trying his best to move on to a better life, so maybe a second chance might work for him. (I hope for the best, and this is fiction, so...)

I have to say that I liked that they didn't jump right back into a relationship again after they suffered some drama. It was good that they both had some time on their own to heal and become an official couple later on.

All the main characters in this series, especially the men, have the best jobs, like how? There's no particular reason. It just is because it was said so. Every lead is just so successful at what they're doing, just so. (I don't know why I am bothered with this, but I am. :))

So the following question is about all the couples in this series, well, they all had their happy endings. But all I am asking is it ever after, can it be ever after? Can they really work? Just saying…

Now to think about, I wish there was an upcoming book where we could've read their non-working happy endings. Yes, Dramaa!

PS: Actually It has been a while since I read this book, but I kinda found myself thinking of the balcony sex. OH.MY.GOD - It was a dangerous and disturbing scene but what I didn't know was how I got attracted to that scene this much, It was completely irresistible and arousing in a way. HOT. Vicious but Sexy.

Probably my favorite out of the entire series. Okay, it totally is.

Neighborhood Watch is the final book of the Twin Estates series. In it you will meet Landon, who is Liam's twin brother, and Tori, who is Katya's friend and Liam's co-worker. I loved these two so freaking much. It doesn't help that Tori was basically crushing/borderline falling in love with Liam. Then when she thought that she was about to have sex with him.. only to find out it was his twin brother. Well, damn, that was beyond awkward in my eyes. Yet, their angry sex was amazing. I instantly started to ship them.

They had amazing chemistry but what I loved the most about them was their bantering. God, they bickered about everything and I loved it! They seemed like the most normal and realistic couple ever. They reminded me of some of my friends and it just made me enjoy this book even more.

This book also has it's fair share of dram but I mostly stayed for the smut. It was amazing and such a freaking page turner. Other than that, I did like to see the previous two couples a few times in this book but hands down, Tori and Landon were my favorite. If the whole series was about them I probably would've enjoyed it a whole lot more.

This book was a very satisfying ending to the series.

4.5 stars ❤️

“Stupid girl,” he breathed. “Don't you know I'll break you?”
“Yes,” she whispered back. “But maybe breaking me will help you fix yourself.”

I’ve been known to love this author, but my favorite books of hers haven’t been in this series. I enjoy them- a lot- but I tend to love her edgier work. That’s what made this one such a win- it was unexpectedly good, especially considering I knew the MCs from the previous books and didn’t feel anything strongly for either of them. Turns out that’s what made the story so good- I didn’t know what to expect, and what I got was probably the best book in the whole series.

“This is humiliating! Jesus, I almost fucked the wrong brother!”
“Well, really, that depends on how you look at it.”
“What?”
“Afterwards, you'd definitely know you'd fucked the right brother."

Tori has been in love with Liam Edenhoff for this entire series. It should've been pathetic, but it wasn't, mostly because nobody really knew. Still, I didn't really understand her, probably because I'm the type of person that goes after what I want. Anyways, Liam eventually falls in love with someone else (see book three) and Tori does what most women in their twenties would do: she gets extremely wasted and makes a bad decision. That's when she mistakes Liam for his twin brother Landon... at least at first. Liam and Landon, while identical, are night and day. Liam is friendly and boisterous; Landon is snippy and serious. It's not just their personality that makes Landon the "dark" twin, though. He's a drug addict who's constantly making mistakes, which means that this story would've been very easy to mess up. Turns out the author either did her research or has loved an addict, because it was very realistic and appropriately heartbreaking. Addicts are a lot more than people who do drugs; they have a specific personality, and Landon fit that to a T. Up until this book, I had seen Tori as vapid but also a very good friend. Turns out she's more than she lets on: she is very understanding and helpful, as well as a fantastic listener, but she doesn't take shit from anyone, either. She wasn't afraid to grow as a person, but she was strong enough to withstand Hurricane Landon... most of the time.

“I'm an asshole,” he said bluntly. “You knew that when you came on this trip. Did you think having sex would change that?”
“No,” she shook her head. “I don't think anything will change you. I think you're a lost cause, Landon Edenhoff. And it's a shame, because maybe once upon a time, you had a chance to be a good guy. A great guy. Goddamn amazing. But you ruined it, and maybe it's time you grow up and stop blaming other people. You ruined yourself.”

There were too many fantastic quotes to isolate just a few, so I'll probably share them on GR. This was a great story, but it definitely wasn't all rainbows and puppies. The sex was hot and rough, not unlike Landon himself. It would've been easy to see Landon and Tori as just the two remaining characters in the book that didn't have anyone- which is what I thought at first- but the author did a great job of highlighting why they are perfect for each other. This isn't a love story so much as it is a journey, but it's memorable and beautiful in it's own way.

“I'm always gonna be an asshole,” he warned her. “But for you ... for you, I'll try to be a good guy.”

An Explosion Of Stars *******

There aren't enough stars to properly rate Neighborhood Watch. I had read reviews from other people about this book and was stunned to hear people call Neighborhood Watch the best book of The Twin States Series. Only because, I’ve personally loved every single book, so much. I believe this is the first time I’ve read a series where I consistently adored every book. Each story has been intense and entertaining. All the characters complement each other so well, and I swear they just get better, funnier, and sexier. With this new book, I was once again blown away. Landon and Tori are a force to be reckoned with. Their relationship was like a Hurricane category five, taking every emotion, every single one of your breaths, and every beat of your heart on a whirlwind, so intense, you are not going to know what hit you. Truly a phenomenal story.

We know Landon is Liam’s twin brother. They are equally good looking and funny, but Landon has more of a darker personality. He is a bad boy through and through. We also know Tori has been harboring a crush on Liam, and know that he has a new girlfriend she’s devastated. In comes the good doctor, Landon to try to save her heart. Mind you, he does it in the least possible romantic way. In a way, he finally breaks her, completely, before putting her back together again.

Tori had been totally lost. She was just going through life watching out for everyone, and never paying too much mind about her own self. She never expected that it was going to be Landon, the crazy, sexy, dirty mouth doctor, who was going to be the light that would guide her on her new path.

I love how broken and messy Landon and Tori are. They love and fight with the same extreme intensity. Every chapter in this book is emotional and full of passion, it's one of those stories you won’t be able to put down for even just one second.

Stylo Fatôme is going down in history for creating the most beautiful and multidimensional characters. And The Twin States Series is hands down, my most favorite, EVER!!!!!

“I'm always gonna be an asshole,” he warned her. “But for you ... for you, I'll try to be a good guy.”

Ah that series.... I'm even a little sad that it's over. In Nighborhood Watch  we follow Landon and Tory from the US to Bali and then Thailand.

If you thought that Wulf was an asshole, then you clearly haven't met Landon yet.... I Iove Stylo's characters because of their imperfections. And god knows how imperfect Tory and Landon were! Under London's rudeness and anger, his addictions,  hide deep insecurities and traumas. And what to say of Tori vulnerability that touched me so much? She is feisty, caring, nurturing and always places those she loves before her own needs. But in the end, who takes care of her?

I loved the intensity of their relationship. They found their match in each other's challenging behavior and seeing them involve, gain in maturity was so endearing!

That's a books I couldn't put down grace to the pace, the action, the emotion. Yes, in true Stylo Fantôme style, Neighborhood Watch had everything to keep me entertained from beginning to end. I laughed and sometimes cringed as the character's harsh words cut deep. Raw, beautiful, sexy, that story is about forgiveness, finding the strength to fight your demons, and allow yourself to take fresh starts.

Enjoy ladies!

Bravo!! This book was just what I needed.
Juicy story, with hot characters, and multiple levels of complex flavors!
I have been a fan of this series since book 1, and honestly I was more than curious how Landon and Tori’s story was going to play out.
However, this author masterfully creates unlikable characters, shows us their souls and we end up loving them. That’s exactly what happened with Dr. Landon and Lori! I didn’t like him at all in the previous books, and Lori to me was an enigma. He was obnoxious self entitled and a true addict in every sense of the word. She was a spitfire who lost her way.
What happens in this story between Landon and Lori is a gut wrenching, angst, and compelling story. Their characters evolved and were fantastically developed. We got see who Landon and Lori really are.
Their demons, their passions.
The writing was fantastic. The plot was exciting and easy to follow. Even the secondary characters gave depth to the story.
In the end I fell in love with these characters and hope we get more!

If you've read my prior reviews, you already know I love a good anti-hero story. Add to that a redemption story and my interest is even more peaked. However, when I saw Landon Edenhoff was getting his own book, I had to wonder if this author could make it work.

Self-absorbed
Thoughtless
Cocky, and not usually is a sexy way
And the one thing that's hard to spin . . .
Drug addict

Like the authors other releases, she knows how to kick off a book with a seriously hot sex scene. So beware if starting this book in public, lol. *fans self*

The timing of this scene set the stage for what would come to be the best and worst decision Tori and Landon could make. Both look to escape the mess of their lives in a tropical setting. What could possibly go wrong?

Landon's motives from bringing Tori show what a selfish jackass he can be, and I had fears that his redemption was an impossible task. However, little by little, he begins to show a conscious. His relationship with Tori isn't any less toxic, but the chemistry is there, and surprisingly a friendship, of sorts, follows. From that slowly formed bond, Thailand exposes new sides of both characters and begins to crack the ugly walls Landon built up around himself. Now, this is not to say he isn't a douche half the time, but we get to see the more caring side as he puts others before himself.

"I'm not brave enough to say I love you yet," she whispered into the darkness. "But I really, really like you, Dr. Edenhoff."

Looking back on this book, I have one major critique. The previous book, Liam's story, gave a peak into this book. I don't mind knowing whose story is next, but I think too much was revealed, and sort of changed the overall reading experience for me. I knew what was coming, just not the how and when. To avoid my own spoilers, I won't go any further

Finishing this story, I was surprised that not only did Landon redeem himself, but he did it in an unexpected way. The drama Tori and Landon experience on their trip is something no one would wish for, but looking back, it did give them no perspective and direction in their lives that were already spiraling out of control. Despite the pain and fear they both suffered, at least it brought them to a happy ending. Eventually.

"I was lost, and you found me, so I guess that makes us even."

Neighborhood Watch (Twin Estates #4)
By: Stylo Fantome
5 Balcony Stars

Ahhh we finally get the bad twin’s story. Landon is the bad boy doctor who chooses to do bad boy things. While doing them, he never takes into consideration who he is hurting along the way. It’s been that way ever since he was caught using drugs at work.

He flies by the seat of his pants and never looks back. Always searching for the next high. When things get tough at ‘home", he flies off to do volunteer work in countries that need a doctor. He thrives on the high of helping people.

Tori the sexy assistant manager at The Garden feels like her life is coming to a boiling point. Always there for her friends listening, supporting, planning, you name it…but really, who are her friends? They all have something important going on in their lives but where does that leave Tori?

When Landon propositions Tori with a week vacation to just let it all go. Get rejuvenated and ready to tackle life when she returns, Tori accepts.

There were times in this book that I wanted to jump through my kindle and smack both of them upside the head!
There were times in this story that I wanted to jump through my kindle and give these two a huge hug.

These two could banter back and forth like two old married people and I loved it. Tori grew a backbone and stood up to Landon like nothing was going to knock her down. Landon was a tough cookie to crack but Tori had a way with her words or lack of words that opened Landon up.

I really enjoyed this one! Although going into this book, we already knew a lot of what was to come, from reading the previous books in this series. This book was exactly what it was meant to be! Landon and Tori’s story isn’t a typical love story. There is no way that these two would ever deserve a typical story!

I couldn’t not wait for Landon and Tori’s story and it did not disappoint at all! Landon was such an anti hero and a jerk at times but then he would do something redeeming and I couldn’t help but root for him to just get his head out of his ass and get it together!! Tori was the person who was there for everyone else but when she needed the same in return everyone was busy. I see why she took of with Landon for an adventure.

This story was one that could not put down once I started! Landon and Tori had off the chart chemistry and they fought hard and loved harder. Landon had a mouth on him and Tori was sassy and held no punches with her slick mouth. We had some very tense moments in this story that had me hanging on the edge. Both characters experience life changing events and became different people afterwards. I was so happy that Landon was able to become the man I knew he was deep down. Tori finally started putting herself first and it was nice. I also liked that her friends apologized for not being there for her when she needed them the most.

This book hands down was my favorite of the whole series. The writing was solid, the plot held my attention and I was sucked in the whole time I was reading. Everything about this book was perfection! Well done Stylo Fantome!

It got the job done. I needed something quick and easy to get me through another day at my dreary office.
Though the author was clearly confused about whether she wanted the H to be a bad boy, a goody doctor or damaged. The mixture of the three was just eye roll worthy though.

Who doesn’t love a story about a broken man!

Finally, it’s Landon and Tori’s turn to tell their story. Landon is Liam’s twin and Tori is Liam’s sex club manager but together, Landon and Tori are simply explosive.

Right from the start, which began at the end of the last book, we knew we were in for a treat where these two are concerned. Tori is still sore that Liam doesn’t act on her romantic feelings towards him and after getting drunk, decides actions speak louder than words. The only problem…. it’s Landon’s face she finds herself glued to and not Liam’s!

Tori thinks she’s found the perfect sexual partner and one to keep up with her voracious sexual appetite. Thinking that Liam really knows what buttons to press where she is concerned, Tori is in heaven, that is until she realises that it’s Liam’s troublesome brother that her lips are attached to. Despite her initial repulsion, Tori decides to satisfy her needs with Landon and despite disliking him, she finds her body drawn to him.

Landon really does enter this story with a bang. He’s cocky, arrogant and dominant. He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid to voice his demands in the crudest way possible much to Tori’s delight. Hiding behind sex and trying to forget their problems, Landon and Tori make an unusual pairing but when Landon invites Tori to Bali with him, all expenses paid, she decides time away from Liam is just what she needs. What she doesn’t realise is that a free holiday actually comes at a price.

As expected for the brother who has fallen from grace, Landon has ulterior motives where Tori is concerned. Still wrapped up in drink and drugs, Landon’s problems escalate when he reaches Bali but what he doesn’t expect is to find himself falling for the exuberant Tori and before long they start to connect on an emotional as well as physical level. Unfortunately for Tori, Landon’s past is about to become her very real future.

This was another wonderful story in this hugely successful series. Landon and Tori both seemed so mysterious and I couldn’t wait to read their story. The only downside for me was that Landon was portrayed as too much of a dominant jerk at the start of the story and whilst I did thaw towards him, I never really connected with his character. Despite that, his relationship with Tori was fascinatingly turbulent and their story was totally unexpected. I’m definitely sorry to see this series come to a close.

***5 ‘Explosion’ Stars***

So, I was Team Taco, but, after ALL of that (and I do mean ALL of that) I’m Team Asshole and Basket Case because Hello, Emotional Rollercoaster. I went from wanting to take a two by four to both of their heads to wanting to hug them to getting that god awful pressure burning thing behind by eyes warning me that liquid may actually start coming out of them. Then you add on the crazyness and OMG smexy going on...and this book I think has taken me beyond a hangover.

Landon is an asshole. Let’s not even get that twisted, but then slivers of his soul appear which isn’t all black, and show that there truly is more going on beneath the surface and I found myself absolutely fascinated by him and needed to dig deeper and see what really made him tick.

Tori. She vivacious, kind, compassionate, sassy and snarky and is a force to be reckoned with when the situation calls for it. I adored Tori, even when I wanted to reach through the Kindle and stop her from making certain decisions, I adored her because there was an honesty to her that came through in everything she did.

Explosive. I mean, nuclear level explosive is the only way to describe the crazy journey Tori and Landon went on together and separately, hence the cray cray emotional rollercoaster. These two put each other through the wringer and yet they worked even when they shouldn’t have. It was crazy. But there you have it. They worked together on so many levels that they ended up being good for each other in the end.

This book was one hell of a ride. It really was, but it was so worth the emotional upheaval it caused. Watching Tori and Landon evolve and yet stay themselves was quite fascinating. The situations they find themselves in...kinda cray cray and catching up with the rest of the Twin Estates crew was a lot of fun. If you haven’t read the previous books in the series, I highly suggest that you do because they all interconnect and you’ll better understand the ebb and flow of the relationships between all the characters. I’m hoping that there will be at least two more books in the works for this series, since there are a couple more characters I’d love to know more about, so toes crossed!

ARC received for an honest review

I wasn't sure how I was going to go with this installment of the Twin Estate series. Landon Edenhoff really didn't endear himself to me in the earlier books, and a whole book with him - yeah, I wasn't sure if he would p!ss me off too much to get the whole way through.

Boy, how wrong was I.

It turns out, that in my opinion, Neighborhood Watch has been the best book in the series.

My heart was already hurting for Tori after reading the previous books, and oh my how did it break for her with this one. I kinda sorta hated her friends for the way they pretty much abandoned her now they had their HEAs - to me Landon wasn't the only ar$ehole in her life!

Her and Landon's story is full of heat, full of action, full of drama (but nothing over the top). There was also a fair share of my tears shed whilst reading too - and that is something else I wasn't expecting.

As much as Landon frustrated me (and everyone around him), Ms Fantome completely changed my opinion of him as the book progressed. He kinda stole my heart away from Liam (and I NEVER thought that would happen).

Neighborhood Watch is dark and gritty, but also funny and sexy.

To me it was like a packet of pringles - once I popped it open to read, I couldn't stop.

I can't wait to see what Ms Fantome brings us next.

Hell yeah this book! It started off with a bang and it just kept going. Gawd Tori and Landon are so hot together. I didn’t even care that he was a huge dick to her most of the time, Tori gave it right back. I love a strong female character. I think this was my favorite out of the whole series. I could keep reading about those two forever and ever!
