The Imposter: A novella by Peter Gregoire

Rate this book
'The Imposter' is a comedy-thriller short story/novella for a globalised business world. The trouble is when you finish laughing, you realise this could actually be true.

Recently out-of-work accountant Peter Gregson has had no luck finding a new job. With the outsourcing of positions by international companies to low-cost jurisdictions being so in vogue these days, there isn't much call for Gregson's skill set any more, or his institutional knowledge of how corporations function. A chance conversation, however, finally gives Gregson an idea. If he can't find work the conventional way, why not take advantage of the cross-border chaos by trying something outrageously unconventional?

What could possibly go wrong?

It turns out, quite a lot.
