None But the Righteous

Rate this book
Lynnette Hawkins, a self-proclaimed "strong, independent, beautiful black woman of God," thought she possessed everything she could ever want, including Gerald, the man of her dreams. However, when she marries Gerald, Lynnette’s dream husband succumbs to Satan’s temptations and transforms into her worst nightmare. Through her faith in God, Lynnette finds the strength and courage to endure the trials He has destined her to experience. Lynnette’s friends and family accompany her throughout her journey and serve as the support she needs as she undergoes the spiritual awakening God has prepared for her. None But The Righteous reminds us life does not always meet our expectations. Most importantly, Nikita Lynnette Nichols teaches us to not give in to the temptations of evil, because God is watching, and in the end, those enlightened souls who stayed true to Him will be rewarded, while those who turned away from Him will be severely punished.

I read this book in a few hours. I just couldn't put it down. Any one who is trapped in a bad relationship and is struggling to find the answers to deal with the situation, should really read this book. I really liked the scripture references. It is truly as wonderful story of triumph in the face of adversity. I am looking forward to reading more by Ms. Nichols. Keep the good Christian books coming.

Some parts were a bit on the preachy side and it had profanity in it. I thought this was a work of Christian fiction.
