We have tried many different recipes from this book and all of them so far have been WONDERFUL. Generally I need to make adjustments or changes to recipes to get them to be more flavorful or turn out better than what the book has, but I haven't had to do that with this book.
I still need to make some changes due to being AIP instead of just Paleo, but all of it has been wonderful. I'd highly recommend this book and bought it for myself!
I’m not Paleo. I discovered this book through my public library via Hoopla when I did a search for anti-inflammatory recipe books. However the recipes in this book are quite good. Very simple ingredients, easy to understand, easy to execute, and quite tasty. Very pleased with the dishes I discovered through this book that are now in heavy rotation at my house.
This is a keeper! The recipes aren’t complicated and there are adaptations for each for variety or for specific nutrition requirements. I’ve been looking for new and interesting ways to prepare vegetables and found plenty of fresh and exciting ideas here.
Originally got this from the library and had to buy a secondhand copy for myself. All of the recipes that I’ve tried so far are easy enough for a novice cook, look appealing, and have tasted really good. I love this cookbook
I don't often write reviews for cookbooks but this was excellent. Maybe not fully paleo but for my dietary needs it was perfect. The recipes look delicious and totally doable. Though if I haven't tried any (or had Chef Greggy try any) yet, I think several will become regular dishes in our rotation.
First book of 2023! The first almost 100 pages gives a crash course in gut health and the importance of nutrition that meets your body’s needs. The rest of the book is filled with a ton of delicious looking recipes.
