When Amelia Telford, a young and brilliant student, receives word that she’s been accepted into the college of her dreams, she thought her life might finally take a turn for the better after becoming estranged from her busy workaholic parents. But when she falls through a mysterious hole in her basement, she discovered that was far from the truth. Now immersed into an alternate reality filled with monsters and mythical creatures, all her book knowledge proves useless. Connor, a handsome but bitter and reluctant demon, is wrangled into helping the human girl find her way home. With the assistance from an eccentric wizard, they must journey through the dangerous lands of Somniatis to Gastro Bay where an enchanted box is supposed to transport Amelia back to where everything makes sense. But, does she have much of a home to go back to?

Sheritta Bitikofer writes paranormal romance with a particular fondness for wolf shifters and witches. Her stories are driven by one guiding belief: love inspires courage. Through fierce romances, unbreakable pack bonds, and the magic of covens and family, her characters fight for the lives—and loves—they deserve. Sheritta lives in northwest Florida, where she drinks far too much coffee and joyfully balances life as a wife and mother while crafting her next heartfelt paranormal love story.

I thoroughly enjoyed this romance. Of course, I am a sucker for the "bad boy gone good". What I didn't realize is that I could fall in love with a demon. Full of action, wit, and heart flutters.
