The Experience Counts miniseries features three May-December romances. A cop and his best friend's daughter strike up more than a friendship in Daddy's Best Friend. A rich businessman falls for his daughter's best friend in The DILF. And the good doctor simply can't resist his barely-legal nanny in Nanny With Benefits.
London Hale is the combined pen name of writing besties Ellis Leigh and Brighton Walsh. Between them, they’ve published more than thirty books in the contemporary romance, paranormal romance, and romantic suspense genres. Ellis is a USA Today bestselling author who loves coffee, thinks green Skittles are the best, and prefers to stay in every weekend. Brighton is multi-published with Berkley, St. Martin’s Press, and Carina Press. She hates coffee, thinks green Skittles are the work of the devil, and has never heard of a party she didn’t want to attend. Don’t ask how they became such good friends or work so well together—they still haven’t figured it out themselves.
I liked the way this box set went together. One story into the next. All from the same small town. The first story is about Evie. Just graduated from high school. The center of all her fantasies is there. Her dads best friend. The second book is about Evie's dad and her best friend. And the third book is about the local hospital hot surgeon and his nanny. All of them very steamy. Lots going on in the small town.
I cannot get enough of Temperance Falls. I loved all the stories and have continued with the other series. I hope there are more to come. Even though these stories are considered "taboo" I enjoyed them because it's all about love and consent and adults.
Many elements of an age-gap romance must be done right in order for a collection of three, barely-legal and twice-my-age couples from the same small island, to work without it being creepy. This works here, so hats off to the author!
