After coming across the murder of a werewolf, Quinn Reilly finds herself placed under a witness-protection programme. But things spiral out of control when Alpha Jed Trevino shows up, claiming to be both the murderer and her mate.
never, will i fucking ever, find a werewolf book this well written. Usually werewolf books that i find are all, "oohhh bad alpha gets defenseless tiny omega he must protect and not let her get hurt, or walk, or breathe" or,"girl gets rejected by mate. Leaves. Becomes stronger than any other wolf on the planet. Takes him back because he's changed."
This book aint that
This book has a serious plot yet still has the aspects of a young adult read to capture the attention of both young and old readers The fighting scenes aren't overly done and the fucking plot twists make you want to rip your hair out.
5 ‘Quinn & Jedediah are the best fucking couple ever!’ Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Animal Instinct is not only one of my favorite books of all time, it’s one of my favorite werewolf books too. The plot, the characters, the amazing writing itself makes it hard for other supernatural writers to top it! Animal Instinct will forever be iconic! PERIOD.
I love this book , i love all of Noelle's books . I remember reading it when it was still being written , getting exited every time she dropped a chapter , her style is mesmerising and so unique ; with that said and after revisiting this world after maybe 4 years ? , i see that the plot wasn't as strong as i thought it was the first time reading it , like [ spoiler : Jed , sweet protective Jed <3 , just killed his father and became alpha but his brother was looking for him for a long time to "avenge " his father's death ? And the pack is thankful and happy with their new lives without the bad alpha but hi was just killed not many chapters ago .... so how ? another thing that i didn't get and maybe it's a me problem, maybe i didn't understand well,is the syndicate member wearing their rings openly? Like why do that if you want to keep your identity a secret]
I can't wait for Dimitri 's story , i hape he has one , he's a sweetheart in a wolf's clothing , the 4th star is all him
“I love you. I always have.” “I love you too. I always will.”
I first discovered Animal Instinct by Noelle N. on Wattpad, and from that very first read, I knew it was something extraordinary. I had to buy the full version—and I’m so glad I did. This isn’t just a story; it’s a love that consumes you.
Jedediah and Quinn’s connection is one of the most beautiful, powerful romances I’ve ever read. Their chemistry leaps off the page, raw and magnetic, yet tender in all the right ways. You feel every heartbeat, every glance, every ache between them. The writing pulls you in and refuses to let go – each scene perfectly woven with emotion and intensity.
Noelle N. has created something timeless here. I keep coming back to this book every few months, and somehow it still manages to break and heal me all over again. Animal Instinct is more than a must-read. It’s the kind of love story that stays with you forever.
"Animal Instinct" By Noelle N. was such a cosy, lovable paranormal werewolf novel. I had come across it during the peak of my werewolf phase (that is still very present) on Wattpad, though I had forgotten about the existence of this book until today where I binge-read it. This is probably the millionth time I have read this novel and I have never gotten bored of the story that takes place. All the characters are lovable, even the problematic ones. I can't help but swoon at the relationship between Quinn and Jed. I love them so much. Jed is a man of few words, yet his silence speaks volumes. He is so gentle yet fierce, and the love that he puts forth towards Quinn is so cute. I literally cannot handle it. Quinn is the perfect protagonist, she's the perfect Luna and mate for Jed. I love her personality, her nature and the way she comes across. I found her to be a fairly relatable character. All in all, this book was so cute, and I loved every part of it. The plot, the characters, the love...
4.5 stars! Would give 5 if there is a additional story about how Quinn got the second bite lol
Well, i was like what's so special about this werewolf story. What's the differences among other werewolf books where the ordinary girl met a hot alpha boy. But hey this story is different from others, i was sooo thrilled to read it. I mean yes it is about an ordinary girl met a hot alpha boy, but the alpha barely speak, not because he can't but because he won't. Also i kind of hating the girl because she was like easily trusting the enemy but hell, intuition works like magic i guess. This story doesn't only tell about romance, but also trust, loyality, and perspectives. Good job.

This book is well-written. The way the author describes every action and emotions expressed by the MC was amazing. The author could bring us into the emotion the MC were feeling. The plot itself was good, not until the plot twist(s!!) and (spoilers) several of important characters died. Didn't really like stories where the sweet and kind-hearted characters died. Especially Dimitri. His whereabouts are still unknown. It's not described in the epilogue. Was really hoping to hear Dimitri's story, really need it. He's my favorite character in this book. But overall, this book is really good. I'm new to this genre (werewolves) and i'm glad i read this book.

With few errors (which is the ONLY reason is got a 4) and an intriguing plot line, this story had me in its grips from chapter one! Seriously, I couldn’t put it down!
I accidentally opened book two first, and as soon as I realized how taken I was with it, I quickly found book one. I was NOT disappointed. The twists the author chose to present were great, but the method to her madness (and yes... it was madness that she so thoroughly messed with me mind) was excellent and totally appreciated!
Absolutely loved this story! It is hands down the best werewolf story out there, because it defies the “damaged woman, caveman Alpha” stereotypes. Noelle writes with such beauty and eloquence in all of her books, and this story is no exception! Telling the story of a man who has been abused and traumatized and a kind, patient woman who brings him some healing is heart-achingly beautiful, to say the least. This book is worth many rereads...
Sometimes it happens, surprisingly, that you find a Watty werewolf book where the FMC isn't stupid. Very refreshing though I must say that Noelle pulled a Suzanne Collins on us and killed off too many characters and she tore my heart out after Plus the redemption arc of the bad guys?! Wicked
I think I read this in '18. I don't remember the date but I remember the plot because I used to follow this author's socials and I was updated with the storylines so much. Noelle wrote this book with so much care and Quinn was so sweet and considerate. God I miss it.
Well, I just loved the book. The story line, the representation and the way the story was described, it was just so captivating, sometimes in between it got a little distracted from the main plot but other than that the story line is amazing.
This was so well written. It was amazing, I literally have no words. From the moment I begun I couldn't put it down. I need more stories like this. wow just wow.
I love this Book so much. Sometimes when I need a break from new books or just feel down and need something familiar ..I come back to this book. It’s beautifully written. 100/10
The love of my life, the one werewolf romance I couldn’t forget after years. Read this when I was in high school, what do you mean I can’t have my own quiet green-eyed man 😔
Finally a h who guesses and understands the werewolves whole universe, instead of acting like she never read or saw anything about this subject, and an Alpha who has his own fears and traumas.
I first indulged in this book on Wattpad, then bought the full version after binging it in one all-nighter, and wowza! The Instinct Trilogy are some of my favorite werewolf books (and I have read a whole lot of werewolf books)! And I think one of the best things about this book, and this series, is how unique it is. Despite the leading woman being human, she is a perfect balance of badass warrior and weak human which is very hard to find. In most werewolf books, when the leading woman is a human she tends to cry a lot and be super weak and then randomly one day she becomes this murderous, expert assassin; and that is not the case here. Quinn Reilly can cry, be afraid, and lean on Jedediah for support, but when it comes down to it, she tries her best to protect the ones she loves and her pack. Sometimes, she fails, and sometimes, she doesn't. But in the way she does it, it is extraordinary and in a way... mesmeric... if the makes sense? Jedediah Trevino is also quite unique and one-of-a-kind. Most alphas in these kinds of books, whether the girl is human or werewolf, are brooding, "abusive", toxic, and then if they hurt their mate when they get pissed, they come crawling back crying and then do it again, and they also tend to shield their mate from the world as if she is made of fragile glass. Now, although, Jed has had a few breaking points, though in his defense he was under a lot of pressure, he was always... different in the way he acted. He also wasn't merciless unless justified, and he wasn't acting like some sex-crazed bunny trying to get Quinn in bed all the time. He took his time, which is very admirable. If mostly anyone who has read this book were to describe Jed in a few words, they would probably say: pure, cute, kind, QUIET, and such a softy that is always trying to please Quinn and impress her. I mean, he can't really cook at all, and she is a chef, so one time, she woke up to find him trying so hard to butter toasted croissants for her perfectly and had ordered them breakfast and it was the cutest thing ever. Jedediah Trevino hadn't had the best childhood, not by a long shot, but he stayed kind, and though quiet, he never hurt anyone unless it was called for or they were making an inappropriate, but very hilarious, joke about his case of blue balls ;p ! There are plenty of twists and turns that will shock you and honestly.... I wish I could be Dimitri's mate and Bianca's mistress because wowza those two can do things to you.... I also wouldn't mind a Jed. *Que innocent and creepy smile*. This trilogy is DEFINITELY worth reading right now! All of you go check it out and praise to this brilliant author!
