Tincture Journal is a quarterly literary journal based in Brisbane, Australia and collecting interesting new works of fiction, poetry and non-fiction from Australia and the world.
The swan song issue of Tincture Journal made for good bedtime reading throughout the latter part of the month. In a sense it felt comfortable, encountering many friends along the way, revisiting many of the locales I recall from my recent trip to Australia, but one of my favourite pieces was an essay by an Iranian Canadian writer Maria Saba about the (lack of) value others see in the writer’s life. This and all previous issues are now available for free. This literary journal will be missed.
