The steamy and dramatic sequel to Tattooed Love by Simone Elise. A lot can change in six years.
Jax’s sentence is coming to an end, and Amber has been a ghost since the day she walked off the prison grounds. With Jax on the outside, and their son becoming more like his father every day, will Amber be able to stay away?
Amber: When I left Jax behind bars I made a promise to myself. I would never let him near my child, or my life, ever again. I’ve kept that promise, leaving behind the biker life and staying hidden from my brothers and most importantly from the man who ripped out my heart. But hiding and moving on are two very different things. How am I supposed to get over someone who’s eyes I stare into every day in the form of my son...my Jack...who is his spitting image? Do I see Jax again? Do I tell him about his boy? With his release just around the corner, I better figure it out pretty damn quick.
Jax: I told her to leave. That was always the deal; if I went away, Amber and I were finished. But a man’s got a lot of time to think in here, and the past years without my girl have been the hardest of my life. Do you know how many days are in 6 years? I do. Because for every single one of those days I’ve had my club searching for the woman I love. The woman I asked to marry me. The woman I kicked out of my life. As soon as these prison gates open, there is only one thing I care about and that is finding my girl, and getting things back to the way things were, just the two of us, no distractions.
Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules.
"I knew as soon as she turned the tables on me and pushed me away that what I'd done was a mistake. She had disappeared like she promised. And I knew she was going to keep her word about never seeing me again. Years had passed since the day she left me in prison, and no matter how many men I hired to find her they pulled up nothing."......
Six years ago Jackson went to prison. The love of his life, Amber, went on to another life. A life different than the one she had with Jackson, the biker, leader of the gang Satan’s Sons.
Now he’s out. Amber has been hiding. She’s also been keeping a secret. Will she let Jax back into her life? Amber's’ been on both sides of the law. Jax is definitely not on the legal side. Choices will have to be made.
With Jax out, and part of his crew being Amber's brothers, it’s definitely a family affair. Bad boy bikers and a little romance. A genre I’m always afraid to mention. Too many people say they don’t read the romance genre, myself included. Within those lines fall bikers, and rock stars. I almost always end up getting hooked into these story lines. This one was no different.
Just a brief look at where Jack and Amber are going. A great ending, with a great set up for the next part of their lives. The possibilities are infinite. Can't wait for another in this series.
>This book is the second in the series and ends abruptly. A cliffhanger ending leaves major plot points unresolved. This book just ends in the middle of a conversation. The book takes place 6 years after the first book. Amber has a 6 year old son whose father, Jax is in prison, serving time in Amber’s place. Amber is still in love with Jax even though she is hiding from him and her family for a reason revealed later on in the story. Of course, Amber’s brothers, all MC members, find her and her son, Jack. By all appearances, Amber has moved on. She now lives with attorney, Will and has a legitimate job. Apparently she was a hitman previously. There is a scene where Amber is multitasking and still working that is fascinating. She is a broker and she is moving money and solving issues all while baking pies.
>Jax discovers his son and decides Jack and Amber are more important to him than the MC. There is a lot of backstory involving Amber and Jax that was revealed in the first book, but this story is still understandable. Jack is a precocious 5 year old, who is 5 going on 25. Amber was described as once being a cold blooded hitman. Her behavior in this book is all about Jack. Everything she does is for Jack. She turned into a doormat in a relationship with Will. He cheated on her and she kept him because she thought he’d be good for Jack. When Jax comes back in her life she never really believes he is here to stay. Amber gets a bit annoying in all of her low self-esteem. The book gets repetitive with Jax internally wondering how to get Amber to realize he is here to stay.
>The banter between Amber’s brothers, Jack and Amber is quite fun to read. They all have distinctive personalities and treat each other as siblings would. This book just starts to hook the reader into Amber’s world when the book ends mid chapter. The ending ruined to story. I actually thought I was missing the rest of the chapter. I am a reviewer for Romance Author’s that Rock. I would have given the story 5 stars, but for the ending (or lack thereof). I can only give the book 4 stars as written. The characters were compelling and realistic. The story was gritty, but still romantic.
I waited so long for Simone to update this story on Wattpad then I finally get the whole thing and i was a little disappointed. There is a lot of filler in here. I wasn't happy with the story just stopping at the end either. There is no cliffhanger and no HEA, it just stops mid conversation. Jax and Amber are a cliche couple but I love them together. They are drawn to each other in an unhealthy way and I love it. Their history is so volatile that I was surprised they didn't explode as soon as they laid eyes on each other. Part of me wanted Amber to push Jax away once he knew about Jack but I couldn't help but want them together also. There are too many men in her life manipulating her and using her. Will, Tae, and her dad are all so obsessed with making her perfect and Jax accepts who she is. Her brothers are also there for her even when she screws up. It was nice to see more about her brothers and their interactions with her, Jack, and Jax. I want to see more of Chelsea and Troy. I'm curious in the next book how Will and Tae will interact with Jax, because we know they aren't gone from Amber and Jack's lives for good. I want Jax to be the father adn husband that he needs to be. I would have liked the book better had we not gotten all the filler. I was appalled at the dock scene. I could not believe what Tae did. Once Jax knew the truth I was relieved that he didn't fly off the handle and make things worse, but I see him making Tae pay in the next book. Overall this is 4 stars, just because I love the characters. The writing is 3 stars and the story 4.5. I can't wait for the ending of their story. I don't predict a HEA but at least some sort of normalcy.
Timeless by Simone Elise Review Jack is first and then family and only family!!!!

What did I like? I have read all the books in this series and I think so far, this one is my favorite but shoot she is just getting started and they just keep getting better and better. These two lead characters have come a long way and the development is so much better but they are definitely a match for each other.
What will you like? Mystery, Intrigue, Romance, Deceit, Murder, Bikers, Lawyers and just creepy guys all lead to the twists and turns that will keep you turning the pages faster and faster. Warning: This is a cliffhanger but wow the action is just unbelievable! I can’t wait for the next chapter to begin. I received this from the Publisher for an honest review.
If you haven’t read Tattooed Love then start with that book first. Also, this review might have some spoilers but I’m doing it anyway.
Having this book published was like an early Christmas for me. I have been dying to read more and more of this book because I follow Simone Elise on Wattpad and Inkitt. She posts her writing in both sites but it does tend to change once it is reviewed and published into book format. I like that it does change. I really enjoyed the maturity in this book. Simone’s writing style is maturing as well and I really like that. The story is good as always but you do need to pay attention to the details because there is a lot going on that foreshadows the future for all characters. I looking at you broke Troy! The dialogue flows much better in this book. The banter is great and there aren’t so many run on sentences. Simone loves detail (I do too girl because I become obsessed with the worlds she creates). I am American and Simone is Australian and the slang in this book is limited. I appreciate that because In some of her other writings I got seriously confused. It took me a while to figure out the slang but I think I have it now. (Side now: “I am making tea” means something else completely then what It does to us in the US lol). But I’m super happy with this book! I love Amber and Jax and I have fallen for Jack as well. But that ending!!! You’re killing me Simone!!!!!! I need that sequel out ASAP. Over all a great book about an enduring relationship that isn’t always on the right side of the law. Bring back bad ass Amber!!

Timeless continues on from Tattooed Love and continue with Amber and Jax's story 6 years later. Amber left Jax, her brothers and old life behind 6 years ago. She is now working a 9am-5pm job, which Amber is very successful in and has a son who is about to turn 6 years old called Jack. Jack is well aware of his father, uncles and the life Amber used to live. Amber has held nothing back of the sort. Amber is found by her brothers and cannot believe the life she is living which include a nephew. Jax's has been released from prison and has counted down the days until he is able to find Amber and will hold nothing back until she is found. Need to read the story and watch it all unfold. Will Amber and Jax's relationship be rekindled? You received this ARC provided by the author/ publisher in exchange for an unbiased opinion. No type of compensation was made. I feel like I have waited forever for the details of what happened to Amber when she walked away from Jax's. While this book also leaves us guessing or rather leaves us wondering about the deatils. If you have read The Reaper series then you know how it ends. But I have soo many questions of the inbetween. I love Amber and Jax and this book does not disappoint. It picks up 6 years later. Amber is leading a new life with her son. This life is much different than her previous life. Jax is ready to be released from prison, her brothers have showed up.
The Shields brothers do not disappoint and Amber and Jax's story is told, however it leaves us with another cliff hanger. Simone you really know how to torture your readers. :)
I am anxiously awaiting the continuation. If you have not read Tatooed Love it is a must read in order to follow Timeless
This book was just as great as the other if not better. I was pulled in from the start and i began letting my heartstrings get tugged. It made me an emotional wreck(mind you I did not cry) but it was pretty close. It hurt when they fought, when they were apart, but when they doubted it each other was when I felt like I couldn't breath (Luke seriously!!) I'm not even in the book yet I felt close to them. I'm glad there working it out but author did you have to leave us with a question unanswered again 😩😫 Jake Is so adorable though and smart for a little kid. My favorite part in the whole book would be the one with the meeting with the principal. So worth it. Seriously try it.
Timeless has a great storyline that left me with so many questions. The history between Jax and Amber is complicated and complex. All of Amber's relationships are complicated and there are a few but she has one relationship that is simple and pure love, the one with her son. Amber's family, her brothers, have me intrigued. Timeless is a continuation of Tattooed Love and I would recommend reading it first to get the backstory and grasp the characters. Can't wait for the next book to continue the story. This book has so many possibilities for more books and I look forward to each one.
I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. The king is back! After six years in prison, Jax is released. And the first thing he does is looking for Amber. He doesn't know anything about Jack, their son. Amber is changed in this book. Now she is a mum and a responsible woman. I liked seeing this side of her and how Jax reacts about all the things that have changed during the last six years. Although the plot is quite slow in some parts, I really want yo know what will happen next. Again. This cliffhanger is as annoying as the previous one...
As a fan of Sons of Anarchy and bad boys, I was very excited to read 'Tattooed Love' and was super eager for the sequel.
Amber is still a very likeable character, badass and independent and still vulnerable and caring and her and Jax's relationship is still as volatile.
This book was a bit more of a slow build than the first book, but still well crafted with an ending (although very abrupt ending) that sets up well for the next part of their story.
I am really looking forward to the next book in the series.
I can’t get enough of this series. I love Jax and Amber story. Love all the brothers. Amber feels she will never love again and will never trust Jax. She’s afraid when he gets release 6 yrs after to find about Jack. She has been distant with her brothers. Amber is a mom and playing the part as a professional independent corporate employee and mom. Can she ever go back to her past. Loved the story. I can’t believe the story ended with a cliffhanger. I need to read the next book. I am loving this new author.
What a non stop, action filled roller coaster ride! I can’t wait to jump into the next installment. Apparently this is book number ???? in a series? I’m unsure as it’s not listed but I’ve seen that the characters Are in other books. The book ends abruptly as a cliffhanger. The story was full of non stop drama that had me wondering what would happen next. There was next to no down time which didn’t give a very great picture of a timeline. The banter between characters was fun to read but was a bit overwhelming at times. Better pacing would have earned another star from me in this instance.
Once again I am in love! I was a little worried that there would still be some of the high school age drama but we have grown up wonderfully! And what a great place to begin book two. Now I have to wait for the next one and I know I’ll lose my mind.
Amber and Jax are so exciting together you can’t help but fall in love with them. And what an amazing mom Amber is. So proud of her and where she is. Love this book, love this story! Can’t wait for more!
I love the book & these characters. Now you need to continue writing about them. I need to read more about Amber,Jax & Jack. I want to see her step into being Max's queen & run his empire with him to be the strong role model in public as well as his submissive behind closed doors
Great continuation of Jax and Amber's story. Loved Jack's character and can't wait to read where the rest of the story will go. With this part of the book we got to see some character development of Amber's brothers as well which was a nice addition to the story as well.
Okay a much as I love Amber and Jackson story that I couldn't put it down because that's how awesome it is ending like that are you trying to kill your readers!!! OMG I can't wait for the next book!!
First book is tattooed love which I didn’t read 🤓 found this book first and was able to follow it. Enjoyed this authors style of writing & im a huge fan of how she writes for kids. Would read other book…maybe tattooed love.
Alright you need to read Tallooed Love before you start Timeless. I really enjoyed thes series so far. cant wait to find out what happens next.. ** Cliffhanger**
This book was a follow up to Tattooed Love which left you wondering what would happen. This book is no different as it also ends on a MAJOR CLIFFHANGER!!!
This book picks up six years after Tattooed Love. It follows Amber as she raises her son Jackson. Her brothers mysteriously show up on her doorstep one day and that is when her life starts to fall apart. The two people she thought she could always trust betray her and the one person she thought she would never trust again is the one she finds herself turning too. Jax shows up just in time to watch as everything starts falling apart for Amber and is willing to show her that he is willing to do absolutely anything to win her back. Can these two make it work at last? Do Jack and Jax save Amber from herself? Do these characters get a happy ending?
There is a lot of crazy stuff happening in this book. Again I loved the characters and the plot was good. I enjoyed this book more than Tattooed Love because it was easier to follow. The book flowed much better than the previous book. There were moments of the book where the pace could have been better. All in all it was a well written book. Could have been better if I had some closure though.
I look forward to reading the next installment and really hope it doesn't end on a cliffhanger. I would also love to read a book about the brothers and Tai. While I enjoyed the books I would definitely suggest waiting to read the books until the series is complete. Especially if you don't like cliffhangers. That being said you should definitely read them!
If you have something as strong as they have, it has the power to last forever. No distance can wither it, time becomes nigh. Timeless makes you grip the book in fear, in madness, it makes you seethe, it makes you overly happy.
